What does your username mean?

Featured Replies

First off excuse me if there was a topic already on this, I haven't seen one.

Anyways, so tell the community here what your screen name on here means. We all choose them for a reason when we create them.

Some people say they just made theirs up, well we were all thinking of something when we made them.

Mines " ClassyEra " and reason I chose this is because I really like the todays classy type of clothing and style. For example,

1MX Shirts with some chino pants or shorts . Kind of like and urban type classy. Thats why I chose that username.

Now, that being said. Lets get started.

I get bashed for it a lot, especially from Sam and Ben, but my username is what the captcha was back when I created my internet persona (when I was in the Oblivion modding scene). Hadn't any idea what else to put in, so I went with it. That was about 6 years ago, stuck with it since.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Mines interesting :)

When I was about 6 years old, I went to a McDonalds playplace and lifted up the safety mat and found a Yu-Gi-Oh Card named Time Wizard. I liked the card and kept it...The time was 1:01pm. That is how. lol. This was before the stupid Wizard 101 online game. Haha

Mine means absolutely 100% nothing!

It started off long ago with Stumpje, as I had to do something and I just entered some random letters, made it sound slightly better and then just went with that. Eventually I added Super- in front of it to make it sounds slightly better and to make it easier for people, as nobody knows how to pronounce Stumpje :)

My username is romaji for "rave".

Why "rave" and why in romaji? Because I love hardcore music and I'm obsessed with anime, lol.

This is hardcore, for those who don't know.

Compass East combined.

Compass is for North, East, South and West. And why East? It's a hint coming out of my last name. It came from a joke people used to make of my last name when I was young.

CLICKY

As Niko Bellic and I are 'cousins', I originally used the name PhillBellic over at GTAForums I figured I'd carry it over here and make it police styled with Lt (Lieutenant) as the prefix.

Cheers.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Figured it'd be an interesting topic for everybody to get to know something different about some people here in the community. Also thats unique for a username, I call that dedication to have it 6+ years. As for me, I've stuck with mine for about 6 months.

Ah, I see. lol, So if there was a definition of Stumpje. What would it be in your words?

"The only advantage of exercising every day...Is that you die healthier!"

Well, you'd never guess it, but it means as much as an empty post... Nothing.

I was looking for a new username on Xbox Live, and ScrimpyData was a suggested name, and I thought it was way better than the one I had (which was CrumbyBird66 or something, it's been a long time).

And ever since that moment, I've used it for many forums, a channel on YouTube and other stuff on the internet.

I see, I was about to say something about the Xbox generated gamertags. You're lucky you got one that made sense. Most of them make absolutely no sense whatsoever, you'd be amazed on the names I've seen. ScrupulousBed24, IntuitiveClock442. Those are just some I can remember off the top of my head, they get pretty ridiculous. lol.

My name is pretty simple. To stride means to walk in a hasty or vigorous manner; therefore a strider is one who walks hastily or vigorously or past obstruction. I got this name from a character in a game several years ago and has since stuck in other forms such as Strider In Elysium as my XBL Gamertag, Steam name, YouTube name.
