I can only wonder how many departments purchased Checker Marathons for use.  Here's one from Checker's hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Kind of remind me of how Flint used to have Buick patrol cars or Lansing Oldsmobiles. Apparently there was a police package avaliable until Checker ceased production in 1982!
