LSPDFR Wish/ Want List

Featured Replies

Why does everyone call it LSPDFR, there is even people on Watch Dogs expecting police roleplay calling it CPDFR. The name wont be changed, most likely.  I really doubt V will be easily modifiable, and even if it is; all the things you guys are saying will not be added for a while. LCPDFR has been out for a while now, and even now there is not alot of cool features. We'll have to see :p.

I don't know what features I'd want. The only thing I'm excited about is Highway / Traffic patrol Miles and Miles of highway, the AI actually driving realistic and fast, patrol those back country road

I think what we have now just improved and better furthered with more functions/animations. The ability to chose what you want to do each patrol such as be a normal patrol officer, SWAT team member,

If not already said.   LESS CRASHING..

Word on the street is that creating script mods for GTA V may be native supported after a few tweeks to the game, if that's true and we are able to do that it may advert the need to 'hook' into the game. Of course we wont know for sure until the game arrives, but hey we can dream right?

Fucking "Merryweather Security Consulting" as security would be freakin' awesome.

guys, i've had a great idea! now that we have enter-able skyscrapers with multi-floor large interiors and breakable windows, we could have Die Hard-style hostage situations on the upper floors of the skyscrapers- we could play SWAT guys rappeling down the building from choppers and smashing through the windows like you do in the FIB Hostage abduction mission. that would be AWESOME!

Do you know how hard it would be to script new interiors and breakable windows in new buildings? Jesus, really hard and there are only 1-2 buildings with breakable windows. I think it were 3 windows per Building which are breakable and i only know one building... the IAA Building... which has breakable windows. Never seen a second building which has breakable windows in GTA V

Here's all I want.

Watch Dogs 911 operator audio. For example, when a call comes in "911 what's your emergency"? From there, perhaps the LCPDFR guys could lend their voices for callouts, or the community. Make it a contest.

I would like to be able to cuff/uncuff anyone without arresting them. Maybe I only have 2 pairs of handcuffs.

We need to be able to turn on/off every callout, because I found that some that were added in GTA 4 crash the game.

We need to be able to turn on/off the entire pursuit function if necessary. Meaning all citizens will comply. This would also be great for training.

We need to be able to turn on/off other police officers.

Now this last one is a stretch but..... Since the game is built around switching between 3 characters, let's use it. #1 is a City Police Officer with calls that pertain to being an officer in the City of Los Santos. #2 is a Highway Patrolman or State Trooper with calls specifically for that (traffic accidents, dui checkpoints, wreckless driving etc.) #3 is a detective with callouts for that. I would like to imagine something along the lines of "The First 48", but that's just me. What do you guys think???

I like the idea of the character switch but i would change it up a bit. How about a city cop, sheriff and tactical responce as the three options. If you begin a pursuit in Los Santos but the criminal leaves the city you have to switch to the sheriff unit and catch up to the pursuit again. As for the tactical responce unit though, you can choose to switch to this highly trained and well equipped person for dangerous callouts like a drug deal or shots fired.

During the LSPD:FR character selection we can customise all three of them.

As a twist, if one of these three officers gets killed he becomes "blocked out" and you can't use him again for 5 or 10 minutes.

I think this would add another level of realism of the mod while still allowing the freedom we currently know and love.

A bit of an OT question: you guys think it'd be possible to create a mod that disables bullet holes and blood after being shot? That's the most annoying feature in GTA V in my opinion

Not sure that's such a great idea. LCPDFR always seemed to be more or less based on freedom of choice. This one should be too, letting the player choose what to do. Having only 3 themes would kinda break it. What if one would prefer to be N.O.o.S.E or the sheriff's? Maybe use the park ranger's model?

There's just too many variables to please everybody. Current system works perfectly for people wanting to do their own thing.

It could give some problems to switch back from Duty to Singleplayer Characters, ya know? That would'nt be such a great idea with the switch-menu.

I wouldnt recommended this cuz there wouldnt be so many opportunities to switch between the many Officers, Sheriffs, Detectives and so on.

Good point.... Well maybe the 3 character switching could simply be 3 different models. I know that GTA 5 has city police, sheriffs, and noose models. So maybe the 3 character switch could simply be clothing choice.

Ah, I guess that's still limiting choice huh? Well let's leave the character switching out. But in my opinion everything I said above that would absolutely improve the game, and for myself and many others, prevent crashing by allowing the player to disable the AI's ability to flee, causing a crash.

-FIB Granger: LAPD Ford Explorer (With LSPD Markings)

-Fire Truck: Pierce Arrow XT in LSCoFD Livery

-Interceptor: Ford Crown Vic in LAPD Livery (With LSPD Markings)

-Lifeguard: Ford Escape or F-Series in LACoFD Livery (With LSCoFD Markings)

-Park Ranger: Chevy Tahoe in US Park Rangers Livery

-Police Buffalo: Ford Taurus in LAPD Livery (With LSPD Markings)

-Police Cruiser: Dodge Charger in LAPD Livery (With LSPD Markings)

-Police Riot: LAPD BEARCAT (With LSPD Markings)

Almost certainly never happening. LCPDFR keeps content mods to an absolute minimum -- the only one it includes, in fact, is the Taser (which simply did not exist in any form in the original game).

Oh, I didn't mean as part of the mod, I just suggested what vehicles and textures people could make. I'm guessing I'm in the wrong topic then

I like the existing system. It should be up to the individual user if and when they want to replace the vehicles. I certainly will be using real life counterparts with lore friendly liveries.

Cheers.

Well, let's make it not sooo exciting. If GTA V comes out, it will take a loong time to Script, configure (ecetera ecetera) "LSPDFR", which maybe will not be "LSPDFR".

Let's wait and see, but not hope... it's too much to hope for every of these ideas, inverting these would take months over months to years... Even only a few would be much,

cuz Scripting ain't easy.

The behavior when you change the character to a cop is far more better then GTAIV, The cops think already that you are a cop.
