    The regular Buffalo, police Buffalo and FIB Buffalo all share the same engine noise of a V6, it's the same one on the Interceptor. The Buffalo2 uses a much more V8 sounding one.

    I did a little bit of testing for you and i figured it out. new intructions to follow:]
    Go to:
    ...\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
    open the vehicles.meta find the sheriff it should look like this:
    and you need to edit these values (highlighted in red):
     I also changed the handling to the police2, but that is totally up to you.

    and the drag and drop your new vehicles.meta file into the directory.

    Because of all the digging i actually learned something new!

    Enjoy!

    It would probably be in the vechicles.meta file, but honestly i could be wrong.

    at:
    ...\Grand Theft Auto V\common.rpf\data\levels\gta5
    you'll find the original vehicles.meta that came with the game, and if you do "Ctrl + F" and type "sheriff" it'll bring you to the section you are looking for.
    I have no idea if you can change the audio only from here, but you can change which handling the vehicle uses and other options. This would be a good place to start.

    if you do find a section that allows you to edit which audio file the vehicle uses copy paste the section for "sheriff" only and paste it in the vehicles.meta file here after the "<InitDatas>" tag:
    ...\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe2\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

    This is what i would do, but i am no expert.

    use the vehicles.meta from the respective dlc pack if needed (eg. a car goes into patchday4, you'd have to use the patchday4 vehicles.meta

    No idea, but btw u forgot to write <item> after end of police3 lines.
    I mean this is yours:
    </Item>
          <modelName>sheriff2</modelName>
    It must be like this:
    </Item>
    <item>
          <modelName>sheriff2</modelName>

    Make sure you have the latest version of Code 3 Callouts and Stealth.Common.dll in your main GTA5 folder. Judging by your log, you have an older version which may be incompatible with RPH26.  You want v.0.4.0

    Check the size of the vehicle template. 2048x2048 should be the bare minimum.

    The only way is to make the overall skin bigger, like 4096x4096 for example. At this size most logos will be big enough to keep all the details. Do you play the game with Normal texture setting or High and above? I don't want to bore you with poor people problems if I don't have to. :)

    911FordPoliceInterceptor reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.3 - Backup Customization
    This is the second part of our LSPDFR 0.3 preview series.  For more information about the background behind 0.3, check out the first installment in this series here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/55130-lspdfr-03-announcement-first-preview/
    In spirit of keeping up to date with the most hotly requested features for future versions of LSPDFR, customization of responding police units simply had to be near the top of our list.
    LSPDFR 0.3 introduces an all-new Backup XML file which lets you customize, in great detail, just what kind of cops and vehicles LSPDFR should dispatch for each of the seven in-built backup types. (The eagle-eyed among you are probably thinking "but wait, there's only six types".  Not anymore!)

    I like planes.  Now, LSPDFR likes planes too.
    The power of this new XML based system is absolutely unparalleled to anything we've ever had before in LSPDFR or LCPDFR, and also allows much, much more refinement than traditional .ini configuration files seen in other modifications like ELS.  Presented in the same sort of format as many of the data files in the original game itself, we hope it will be super easy to use, too.
    With this new feature, you can precisely choose:
    The vehicles that respond for each backup type (and you can have as many as you like). + Vehicle liveries (on a per-vehicle basis) + Minimum and maximum number of occupants (again, for each vehicle) The peds that respond for each type (again, as many as you please).+ Ped component models (for each ped) On top of this, you can do the above customization for each of the four distinct areas within the game:
    Blaine County North Yankton Los Santos Los Santos County That's right, this means you can now finally have different units operating all four different areas.  Plus, if you're feeling particularly adventurous you could actually think of each of these areas as being a different entity entirely with their own state, local, SWAT and air units.  There's really very little in terms of limits as to what you can do with this exciting new system.
    Oh yeah, it doesn't even end there either.  With 0.3, an all-new unit type has been added which, for the first time, lets you call for emergency medical services.

    Furthermore, unlike the regular medics in the game, medical units dispatched by LSPDFR will actually attempt to treat injured pedestrians.
    Just one more thing...  As if completely configurable backup units and the new medics weren't enough, we also managed to make a few improvements to the way in which units arrive at backup requests.  This means you can have scenes that look almost like they're straight out of a cop movie, without the trainer.

    Yeah the .25 is borked, Haven't been able to play in a few days now.Wish there was a way for LSPDFR to work without having to have ragehook.
  22. Like
    Well, there is already a RagePluginHook (0.25) that supports the game update. So just install that and see if it works. Some people reported they're having problems, though.

    Sandy Shores. The city drives me crazy: too wide roads, too crazy traffic, a slight shooting turns a place into a mess with people down, cars wrecked... Moreover, the city is just boring for me. I patrol ma deser yessir. There's plenty of place for everything, from chases to shootouts. And the main road near Sandy is good for catching speeders. However, those foot chases... Meh

    911FordPoliceInterceptor got a reaction from CheezyTheNerd in US Park Ranger skin request
    Hi,
    I would really like someone to do a skin for the templated Granger based on the U.S. Park Ranger Tahoes. Also if someone could do a texture for the Park Ranger ped with National Park Service patches and that uniform style that would be much appreciated too.
    Thank you! I have included a picture of a US Park Ranger Tahoe that I took.
