As cp702 stated, this topic is for reporting bugs, not to request support. If you would like to request support, you can do so in the appropriate section of the forums.

when i turn off siren it goes back to pattern 00 and not what is set is that a bug? stg3 pattern 72 and siren pattern 93 but when i turn off siren it goes back to pattern 00 

I am not sure why, but since I got ELS, sometimes I see lights and officers, but not the car body, and sometimes, when a stolen emergency vehicles get too far, the car will just de-spawn right in front of my eyes. Anybody have a fix for this. commandline.txt does not work the floor just disappear after going into pause menu.

Yes that is indeed a bug, I thought I listed it, but it seems I forgot. That happens when you use different patterns for the different siren modes.

Sounds more like a problem with the car you've installed. Maybe it's missing the L1 or L2 models. Have you tried with other cars?

What I have very rarely with ELS v8 is, it seems to delete my front right wheel (I know this sounds very odd) resulting in my car trying to fall through the ground on the front right side. I've never had any problem with that car, I only had this bug with ELS v8.

For the last time, this is NOT a support thread. This thread is for listing actual bugs in ELS 8. Before posting here, first post in GTA IV Support Requests in order to attempt to get help with your issue. Only after you do that, and have gathered all the information you can (AdvancedHook.log entries, Scripthook.log info [you *don't* need ScriptHookDotNet.log, though], etc.), post with the following:

* What you are doing (be as specific as you possibly can, include enough detail that someone else has a chance of replicating the bug)

* What should happen

* What actually happens

* Relevant log files, what mods you use, etc.

If you have not already made a support thread in the appropriate section, do that *before* posting here. If you only have a general "it crashes too much", and can't say what sorts of things make it crash, do not post here - that is not a bug, bugs are specific. It may be an issue, but is not a bug.

This is more of an idea, but adding the flash delay in the vcf files would be a lot better. This way those who use multiple car mods, can adjust their els settings perfect. (for example I either slow it down a lot to get the CHP's pattern or I leave it on fast to get the LAPD's pattern right. This would fix this problem)

after coming in game, I am crashing after just driving around for a minute with the new els...... HELP! :(

Just another bug I noticed with ELS. It seems that if you have the E-28 pattern (extras go:  1-2-3-4-3-2-1-2-3-4-3-2-1 etc.) the two enviroment lights belonging to extra1 and extra4 seems to be either more intense or has a wider radius (maybe both). I tested this by setting all the enviroment lights at the same time, and when it went to extra1 and extra4, the lights just became more intense.

Also btw are these problems being looked at and can we expect an update any time soon?

Yet another bug, ELS works differently with different hardware. Just got my GTX 780, and patterns became superfast (they were already way too fast before, but now...). It'd be really nice if ELS wouldn't be affected by this.

Probably because your frame-rate significantly increased? It is a GTX 780 after-all.

Seems legit. Well, we'll see if it gets fixed. I know they keep going when you've got the siren on, but that gets annoying when you're on a traffic stop so I guess we'll just have to live with it then.

I don't believe that's an ELS issue.

There is no such thing as polpatriot2 and FBI2

no i added fbi2 and polpatriot2. like they are valid models that can be spawned in game but the only problem is the els on them doesnt turn on. Its not on the list of vehicle models in the user guide of els v8 thats why they dont work.

That's not a bug or an issue.

ELS isn't designed for you to add vehicle models hence why it's not working.

This should go in GTA IV Forums.

Edit: however, I do want to bring up the multiple support requests that, a lot of peoples games crash when loading the saved game or shortly there after.

It can be remedied, by turning AI_Sp and Mp to off.

Some desire to have it on for AI for added realism, I.M.O. it works for so I keep them off.

Maybe not entirely an 'issue' but would like to bring it up to a moderator.

I'm not sure if it's an issue with ELS8.

But a lot of people including myself have a problem when loading saved games or shortly there after, the game crashes.

Turning AI_Sp and Mp off in the ELS ini remedies it but i'm sure people want them on for realism.
