This is pretty great, and a new record I think.

They were run out of the town in about two minutes. It's good to see the local biker clubs learned how to handle these guys from 'The Patriot Guard' biker club. The way one town handled it was they lined up about ten times as many bikers, along with the entire fire department, and they revved their engines and hit their sirens to drown them out, and used the large trucks to block them from view.

Good. These people are sick, hate mongering mother fuckers. There has only ever been two deaths I've been happy about, osama bin laden, and Fred Phelps, the leader of the westboro baptist church.

The more towns and cities these 'people' are run out of the better. I additionally remember reading somewhere that for every same sex marriage performed, a member of the WBC gets a bad case of head lice.

I don't think any true children of God would say they don't care about their fellow mans feelings. I don't know a whole ton about the Bible, but I know one of it's teachings is "Love thy neighbor as thyself." That means that your highest love is supposed to be God, but after that, is supposed to be yourself and your fellow man. They don't deserve any fire and brimstone from a mere mortal, God should be able to handle that on his own. If there is a God and a heaven and hell, all of us can wait our turn to explain our lives to Saint Peter when we reach his gates.

I'm personally not religious at all, don't know anything about the bible, probably never will, but what I've come to understand is these aren't truly people of god. They're extremists, pretty much just like in the middle east. They take bible verses out of context, they hate monger, they lie, and they want to see pretty much everyone outside of their "church" organization dead. 

 

People like this upset me, I just don't understand how someone can spread so much hatred.

YES! I actually think its a dumb, over-religious sect and all their members should take a moment and think about what they have done, but they're probably too brainwashed to do that.

What I think is ridiculous is, when their pastor passed away, they asked other people not to picket and to show respect to the family. I don't understand where the hell they get off thinking they can say that when that's all that they do! In my opinion, all of those WBC protesters should be arrested for disturbing the peace. At the least they should be given a citation. Maybe then the church would run out of money.

They're guaranteed the right to protest and assemble. They're doing it peacefully, and not disturbing anyone. Is it wrong as hell, and do I wish to see them "disappear" from arm of God? Yes....

Then they appealed and went to an appellate court, and they upheld the first courts decision. However, they also appealed to the US Supreme court which overturned the first two courts decision. Can't go any higher than that, and this case set the precedent for any other cultist groups to do the same exact thing. Long story short, the Constitution works both ways. We can't turn a blind eye and manipulate that document for the good of "society".

This. (well, technically, the appellate court reversed the initial ruling and the Supreme Court affirmed the appellate court; only at the trial level did the judge think they could be liable)

Like it or not, they comply with all laws requiring them to stay X distance away from funerals. That's pretty much the most you can legally restrict; people have the right to protest, and that right doesn't depend on what they're saying, with a few very limited exceptions (which have only become more limited over time).

It brings a smile to my face to see people want to beat all of their asses.

I think our method of counter-picketing works pretty damn well. Their hate's become a lot less effective in the last 3-4 years because of it. Even high profile stars such as Dave Grohl have taken to those kinds of measures. Anybody see the video of him doing an impromptu concert making fun of them?

This being a federal offense in Canada IMO makes Canada worse. While I do not agree with them, I do agree with the fact they are allowed to do it. 

 

On subject though, nice to see them run, as people said above they only have balls when men with guns and badges are in between them and those against them. 

 

It's always funny to see people twist scripture and preach negative things when later in the same scripture it is clear we are all supposed to get along.
