YEEEAAHHHH!!!

 Looking forward to this release. V7 is fantastic, and I have no doubt that V7.1 will be even more so!

If anyone has been watching NBPDFR, ELS 7.1 looks pretty done... Not real sure what's up there. Go check it out on YouTube NBGameVids. He's using 7.1 in a lot of his NBPDFR videos.

You sure do like that saying :D In all fairness it's quite true, take LCPDFR for example.

All i am saying is that it looks pretty done. Not sure why there can't be like a beta release or something...

Like with anything in the world GTA gaming is clickish and ppl have ego's. Friends beta test for developers as developers for the most part can't take constructive criticism on their fragile ego's. My stand from here on especially with the GTA modding community is "I'll believe it when I see it.." until then its just something that may not even happen so why bother getting excited.

Or, just, you know, it isn't done yet. Lt. Caine doesn't want to release it unfinished and buggy. "Constructive criticism" turns to just bashing on the person when it's released to the public unfinished. I would definitely not call Lt. Caine an amateur modder.

Yeah, agreed 110%. It'll be done when it's done. Let's not compare this to LCPDFR, because it's like comparing Earth's size to the Sun's.

I'm guessing that it will be released in May like ELS V7 There are a few people who did something like this.

Any chance that this update will have support for controllers?  IE customizing key binds so a 360 controller, joystick, steering wheel, etc. will work instead of keyboard only?

It does, but that has nothing to do with ELS itself. It has to do with the modders Mapping ELS to function on their models that way. Some models already use this feature and they started it with an older ELS version.
