  1. LAPD vehicles utilizing the Code 3 MX7000 lightbar (and some older halogen slicktop setups) use the Federal Signal Touchmaster, usually the TM4 model specifically. The switch to the Smart Siren was made with the purchase of the Fed Sig Arjents and newer LED slicktop setups. LAPD still has a number of older vehicles in service that use the Touchmaster and MX7000, and it's pretty cool to see and hear an older unit rolling code 3 along with a newer unit, the difference in siren (and light setup) is pretty distinct.
  2. Any chance that this update will have support for controllers? IE customizing key binds so a 360 controller, joystick, steering wheel, etc. will work instead of keyboard only?
  3. I'm referring to this one: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Also yes I did try the 2006, and it wanted to roll over in every turn. It just seems very sensitive to turns, as if the center of mass is too high up. It did the same with the 2011 Charger handling line as well.
  4. Sgt. Kanyo Any hope for a handling line for your 2009 NYPD Slicktop charger? I love that model so much and want different handling just for it. Thanks!
  5. Agreed...hoping someone will see this and take on the challenge. In fact I'm not sure there are any Whelen Liberty bars with integrated directionals available right now. I would kill to have one.
  6. Hello all Yes, I know very specific, but I'm looking for a CVPI with a Whelen Liberty lightbar with integrated directionals (meaning the back 6 or however many lamps make up the amber directionals, rather than an additional traffic advisor in the back window), mirror LEDs, and a GoRhino bar with LEDs on that too. If possible, wig-wag headlights and strobe corner lights and tail lights; it would be great if the Liberty had halogen takedowns rather than LEDs as well. I plan on using this strictly for personal use, and already have textures for the vehicle I want, just want the model to accompany it. Every CVPI with a Liberty that I've seen uses either an additional traffic advisor or doesn't use any directionals at all. Hopefully someone is bored enough or has a close enough model to accommodate. I've discovered that I can texture fairly well, just am terrible at modeling. Thanks in advance.
  7.   Thanks for the reply, however I understand that changing that to pattern 2 will eliminate the wig-wag headlights from coming on altogether; I still want them to activate, just on LSTG 3 instead of LSTG 2. If that is hard coded into the model, then I can't do much since it's locked, but if it's something I can change from the ELS config file then I will.
  8. Hey all, quick question regarding light placement and order on ELS v7. I'm using a slicktop vehicle right now, and I'd like the order of the lights to go like this: LSTG 1: Arrow bar (directional in back window; this part is correct) LSTG 2: Instead of the headlight wig-wags, which is what's under the WRNL section, I'd like the in-window takedown light to activate LSTG 3: Wig-wags and the remainder of the lights will flash as usual The only difference here would be switching the headlight wig-wags for the takedown light, so I could set the lights to LSTG 2 when on a traffic stop, and have a solid burning red instead of the wig-wags. That is more realistic to how the lights would operate, but I'm not sure if this is something I can change in the config file I have for that car, or if it's something that's coded into that particular model I have. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. I have different vehicles with different lights and when I go into the ELS folder within the GTA IV folder to alter settings (such as having the Patriot use a rotator for the primary lights, slicktop with different environmental lights, etc.) it doesn't reflect the changes in game. Case in point, the Patriot. That vehicle in game has a rotator light bar, and when I go to the Steam folder, GTA IV > ELS, I make a copy of the default_config file, make my changes, changing the lightbar to "rota", and rename the file "patriot". When I go to the .ini file and change the Patriot's ELS config file to "patriot", I save both the .ini and the config file, go in game, and nothing changes. It just reverts back to default_config. Am I place the "patriot" config file in the wrong place? Or it just not able to read it for some reason?
