Coca Cola Christmas Truck - Uk / Scotland Only

Featured Replies

I'm sure everyone here remembers these appearing on your TV near the festive period, signaling that the countdown to Christmas has already begun:

I didn't bother to link the new advert, it seems to have changed too much.

This year, the trucks are touring the UK and Scotland and I highly recommend people visit them, you get;

  • Festive Decorations around the trucks
  • Awesome LED Lighting as seen in the adverts
  • Free cans of Coca Cola
  • Awesome Festive Music that get you in the mood for Christmas

Its nothing groundbreakingly special, but I thought I'd get the word out as the company doesn't advertise them much.

You can find a list of dates and towns its touring here:

EDIT: I have pictures from when I saw it last year, I'll upload them soon

  • Sir please don't put "UK / Scotland" ever again.  Scotland is in the UK.  Kthx.

It's strange that they don't advertise them that much, seems like a good time actually. Too bad I don't live there, so I'll have to make do with looking at pictures of the truck... Thanks for sharing!

Is Scotland going to ever become independent from Britain? When I went there last year they said there was going to be a vote on whether they should become independent, but I don't know if it has happened or what came of it.

Its being assesed just now by some "Politicians" but the actual vote is next September. I cant/dont want to see it happening.

It will be decided on the 18th of September 2014 by everyone aged 16+. I will be getting the vote and I really do not want to see it happen. We will be better off staying part of the UK.

On the subject, I love the adverts, you know that Christmas is around the corner when this comes on the tv haha!

Ah, ok. From what I heard, only the highlanders really want independence and most lowlanders either don't care or want to stay linked.

Not necessarily Highlanders..I would say that the balance between the two is more equal as most of the people voting yes are all about William Wallace..."Freedom!" etc but I would prefer to have William Wallace against me than seeing an extra 9% tax and £6 bn worth of cut backs

Yes I saw a headline that if we (Scotland) went independent then there would be major tax increases and funding will be cut for lots of things. The general feeling in may area (Glasgow) is to vote no, we will be better off if we stay with Wales, N.Ireland then England.

This is a lovely discussion, but doesn't it belong in the politics forum?

Sorry haha, if someone starts talking about independence then I feel that I have to reply. If someone mocks Scotland then I must reply to defend my country
