  • Of course I will stick around. Honestly, I'm not even here for the mod anymore, in fact I don't even play GTA IV anymore. I just love this community, so I stick around even when I should be doing othe

  • I'll be here too.  No PC version = no GTA V for me.   The big picture though is lets face it, people aren't going to be playing GTA V on console for months and months.  It looks like an absolutely f

  • Yeah, I don't do console games.

Just going to be honest and kinda off-topic but you guys really are missing out on a amazing game just because it isn't on PC, how ridiculous not trying to be judgement on the decisions u guys make and I understand am talking this on a PC community website but still I think GTA V will be one of those special game that could actually be played forever and even though u can't mod heck the map is way bigger then GTA IV and there's so much improvements then the old game. Back on topic i think I stay on this site just for the amazing LCPDFR version you guys have.

My PROFILE

Honestly, I would rather stick around here than go to GTA V on console for a few reasons:

1. Console graphics are horrible.

2. I only got GTA IV for the mods, I could care less for the campaign, so I will wait for the mods and PC version of GTA V.

3. I have $0.00.

the only reason I would get it is to free roam. I really have this deep hate for criminals and anything related, so being one in a video game just doesn't fit my liking.

I do have a PS3, but I will not be buying GTA V so I am sticking around here, unless they do port it to PC then we'll see. But to me, this new GTA V looks like it has downgraded from the vehicle mechanics. I know I will catch some flak from this, but I believe others have possibly been thinking it and just not saying it. From what I have seen, the "new" driving mechanics look arcade-ish to me. GTA IV has a very realistic/smooth driving style which is why I will always come back to it. I just enjoy playing games that are as realistic as they can be, and to me it looks like rockstar took a step back in this direction, from the multiple videos of driving and flying that I have seen.  I would rather spend my money on Battlefield 4 when it is released. Just my opinion.

Yup, I will still be here. I plan on alternating between IV and V. Only reason why I'll still play IV is because:

1. My car mods

2. I have Spa-Francorchamps

3. LCPDFR, and with 1.0 coming out it's more reason to stick around.

I only have PC, and that there are allot of people that don't have console' like me. and that I'm only interested in scripts, like the new RC3. I be here for a long time and that I be playing GTA IV even that people are playing GTA v,

I'm buying GTA V, but I've been playing LCPDFR since 2010 so I'm not just going to ditch it because a newer game came out.

Good luck buying it Sharp, its like $110 in Australia

I'll still be around, like most have said, any time I open my browser this website gets opened so i can't see myself just not coming anymore. I'll probably slow down with the car making to make time for GTA V, i've already been slowing down anyway just making stuff for personal/friends. My buddy who i play online with, we've been talking about this and I think that even though GTA V will be a great game, we won't be able to get the sort of police "experience" you can on the PC with IV so I know I'll still be playing

I'm just curious, was LCPDFR v1.0 delayed on purpose to coincide with the release of V to draw attention back to the mod/site or is it just a coincidence that its being released so close to V?

I'd have to disagree. I've been a console gamer for many years aswell as a PC gamer and I can honestly say that some of the games I've played have taken my breath away in terms of their graphical achievements.

A console is basically a PC that you cannot upgrade.

Here's some examples (Please take into consideration the release year for each game);

Red Dead Redemption (2010)

Red-Dead-Redemption-John-Hillcoat-Short-

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)

Max Payne 3 (2012)

Yes, consoles will always be at a disadvantage to a PC that costs more to build and has better hardware, but the games above have proven that you can still achieve some decent results, especially the Forza series.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I'll wait for the PC version - whenever that happens.

On another note; I preordered PS4/XB1 and quite a few games. The PS4/360 are getting long in the tooth... so time for retirement soon.

I don't even remember when I last played IV on PC. I'm, like so many others, here because of the friendly community, and I'll certainly stay after V.

Although I might visit a little less often :whistling:

Forza is beautiful. Yes I know I didn't quote Harper.

I will be still chilling on the forums, although I won't be playing GTA IV for a while as my hard drive fried...and then my graphics card died.

I'll stick around as long as LCPDFR doesn't come out for the GTA V on PC :)

P.S. Console can not have the power of a PC, therefore games look better on PC. Consoles can not show so much details and textures are changed, draw distance is also greatly decreased for the consoles etc

I haven't played LCPDFR in a little over a month. It isn't because GTA V is coming out (I don't have a console) but because I've had to stay somewhere temporarily before I can move somewhere permanently. I built a PC almost two months back, motherboard was DOA, only got it fixed 3 weeks ago and my SSD is with my dad while he tries to look for places to live, and on top of that, I haven't got a monitor. But with the release of 1.0 I will definitely stay. I might cut down on the modelling (all depends on whether IV police modelling is still going to be "the thing") but I will stay, I can tell you that much. I really miss playing LCPDFR, and I'm afraid that I'll stray away from my love for the police force.

SCNG FTW!!

While I do own an Xbox, I don't have a TV, so I'm also going to wait it out for a PC version. (also, I might ask friends if I can play their copies)
