I've been trying to add some mods to my game (better lights and sirens); but when I add those my game updates on the start and replaces the files with originals. Might sound silly to you guys but what exactly have I done wrong?

Some of you may know me from LCPDFR and gazillion questions I've asked there; now I haven't been able to play before and I haven't really followed what's going on around here. I've had a great set-up with various mods in LCPDFR and would like to have the same here. So what I need, is a simple advice on what to use; - are there ELS mods like before? - what callouts have various (and possible realistic) callouts - do I need anything more to run the mod itself (scripts hooks and stuff like before)? - anything that you would personally recommend to make the feeling a bit more realistic (not going too far with this) - will any of this "ruin" the savegame or anything like that (since it's auto updated and on-line all the time) So, that would be all for now, thanks in advance :)

Hmm, never had this issue before, that's why I thought your script was ok. I've been using it for a quite while now and this is the first time to encounter this. Anyway, keep up the great work and thanks for the reply

So, I have started playing this again, it's all fine and working but there is a very strange problem. I'm using Callouts + by LukeD and whenever I place a barrier somewhere to block any pedestrians and vehicles my character starts acting as an AI. Actually I can walk and all that, but if I enter my car he's just driving around and I can't do anything besides watching; only thing that wakes him up is the crash with other cars or similar stuff. Anyone had this problem before? I have following scripts enabled at the time: - tow truck - METT mod - traffic flow - no overtaking and Callouts+ by LukeD

Thanks for the answer; Hm, I thought it does spawn units but prevents them from joining the pursuit somehow. I've used some script for reducing cops in the area (they are removed or something) but it caused more errors

After installing the LCPDFR, I get a chance to set some options for the game and the mod. Now I wanted to adjust the settings because having too many cars in the pursuit causes massive mayhem around the city with more dead people than anything useful. I have set up the options but when I start a pursuit there are still too many cars and cops. Is this is a known bug or there is a mistake with my installation? Right now I'm only using these scripts with LCPDFR: Tow Service Medical Service Traffic Flow Less Overtake and CallOuts+ I just want to limit the number of cars in the pursuit down to maybe 2 and cops to 3-4 to prevent killing spree every time I chase someone. Huge thanks man, I've only tried exporting it to a folder within the game folder; works fine now (exported to the main directory)

I've tried all the solutions I could find; but this thing just doesn't start. I keep getting this error all the time. Here are my specs: Win 7 x64 Intel i5 2500k 8GB RAM AMD Radeon HD 7870 2gb Corsair 750W SSD 120gb + extras Not sure what could be causing the problem. Tried reinstalling the software, renaming the folders, fixing C++ and Net Framework and all that fancy stuff. None has helped me so far and I'm really getting annoyed now. Any help is more than welcome and appreciated.

Hm, I'm trying to get the more realistic NY feeling but having the same siren for all vehicles is a real bugger. Thanks for your answer sir.

Just wondering, is it possible to modify files to have more than one siren type? I would like to have separate files for fire trucks, ambulance and police cars. I know there's only one type of Horns file, perhaps a mod or something similar that I don't know of?

Thanks for the answer; Yeah, I've seen some very cool things but was worried about the compatibility. I don't want to lose my settings for the LCPDFR now that I've finally managed to get it all working :)

Hey guys, first of all sorry if this topic is misplaced in the wrong section. I really don't know where to post it since it's related to everything. Now, the questions: Does Business mod allows me to work as Firefighter, Paramedic and Cop? Does this mod interfere with the LCPDFR and can I have both mods at the same time? Basically, can I use both mods, and activate only one job without having problems with the other mods and scripts. If I want to work as a firefighter will it interfere with the LCPDFR (if not activated)
