Oh god, I hope GWFL doesn't go away.  I love GTA4 online!  But if it does, I hope Rockstar ports GTA4 over to their Socialclub multiplayer servers.

I really hope R* doesn't turn around and do an EA on us, by creating much more restrictions in GTA V and removing the very game that doesn't.

EA has been getting better recently. Such as:

The new Origin Great Game Guarantee works like this: You may return EA full game downloads (PC or Mac) purchased on Origin for a full refund--within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from when you purchased it, or within the first seven days after the game's release date if you pre-ordered it (whichever of these conditions happens first).

Not even Steam lets you do that.

Well so much for me joining the RCMP Clan when I am finished making my new computer. Oh well. I'm sure there will be tons of police clans for GTA Online and hopefully GTA Online has some better options that let you be a cop or something, you never know. I think it'd be smart of Rockstart to just give us a massive police DLC to shut us up once and for all :P

sounds a lot like those who have accounts now will still be able to use windows live but the store will go down and you cant buy anything but then i again im very tired at the moment since its almost 5 am here

Of course we will be able to play games indefinitely but only offline. They meant that we will be able to continue to play offline but the servers will be shut down for online play. I can still go back and play SOCOM(RIP ONLINE) offline but I can no longer play online because the servers have been shut down. 

I just called GFWL support... they said you will still be able to play your games ONLINE , but not purchase any new ones. So you can buy GTA IV through steam, but not their marketplace.

IV doesn't have dedicated servers.

 

You won't be able to get online because Games For Windows Live (I.E: The thing you use to log in and invite your friends to the game) WON'T WORK.

 

All LCPDFR clans are going to die, there's no avoiding that at all.

Rarely do I voice my opinion, especially to a well known user, but I believe that there are some people who enjoy being in clans, that's obviously why they join them. I myself love running my clan. Many people do. It's not like their causing major drama issues that affect you(as I know..).

 

But I think your coming off a bit rude. I enjoy running my clan, and if GFWL was going down, I would be pretty upset.

GTA Online comes free with every purchase of GTA V and will be available on October 1st. There is no online pass required to play. It is also going to be 99999999999 times better than the multiplayer in GTA IV.

That's fine if you think i'm coming off rude, just voicing my opinion, which is not always the nicest.. that's fine you enjoy you're clan, but there are too many and some people over do it, there are only a select few I occationally watch such as yours and the RCMP clan.

You don't need 10 O.P.P Clans and you don't need 10 Toronto Police clans just find one and join.
