  • I'm currently working on a new version of my old LCPD pack ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>), using new equipment and a new livery. The CVPI is in progress right now: More pic

  • Made a short video of the lightstages of the cars from the pack, front view only though:   I removed the dashlight because it was still partly visible if you replaced it with a transparent textur

  • Just tested it, it works absolutely fine:   As visible in the picture as well, any of the front LEDs of the Liberty can be turned into a steady burn activating together with the secondaries, tho

I have actually finished my WIPs now, here're a few pictures of the recently finished USBP Charger:

Though, a correction of what I previously said: All of my mods are probably not coming soon, I'm sick of modding, thanks to Gucci Mane and his ripping and taunting.
I'll wait at least until the release of ELS v7, then I'm going to make sure my WIPs are completely working with an, I guess I can use some of the new functions then.

I'd love to see some stuff from you optimized for ELS7 (not to mention if you made the config file, it'd be nice :P)

That's my plan, but before the release of ELS I can't do much.

So If i can understand this correctly, you will release all of your models when ELS V7 comes out?

I definitly won't release before it comes it.

Okay. Do you know when V7 will come out?

Edit:  I really want to get my hands on that Slicktop charger!

Im not sure that I truly understand the reasoning behind this? As I understand it ELS v7 will give us more flash patterns and options for lightbars as well as an improved siren module; but they have also stated that its functionality will be backwards compatible with cars modeled for previous versions of ELS. So aside from keeping people on the edge of their seats what would be the sense of delaying the release of models until after the release of ELS v7?

This is not intended to challenge Cj24's reasoning, frankly they are his models and he can do with them what he pleases.I'm just not sure if I'm missing something here. Other than that I'm just another fan of Cj24's work that is patiently, well somewhat impatiently, waiting on the release of his new models.

All cars would work, but with the new patterns and settings, there's for example a way to recreate a realistic LAPD pattern with working takedowns, direction stick and correct primary mode.

Additonally, for example the Interceptor with Liberty lightbar has wigwags added to the rear lightbar. If people don't want to have flashing takedowns, they still should have the whole rear lightbar flashing, so that has to be changed.

And as I said before, due to specific mod thieves, I don't want to release now, actually. And seeing more and more previews of ELS v7, it doesn't seem to be still unfinished. I can't imagine you'll have to wait much longer, I mean, it was 5 months ago that I showed the first screens of the LAPD or the Slicktop packs.

CJ also said he was intentionally waiting some, because of the actions of a (now banned) mod thief who was taunting him and Kevin. ELS v7 is the *earliest* he will release it.

And ELS v7 is fully backwards compatible, but there are some optimizations you might make that make a car work even better with it. While any car works as well with v7 as it did with previous versions, it also adds a few new features a model could be tweaked to support.

I have wondered about the takedown/rear lightbar relationship before and thank you for the clarification

With this being said, would the release of ELS v7 require a update or re-release of all previous content by their respective modelers to acquire full ELS v7 functionality?

By default any ELSv5 and ELSv6 enabled model is fully compatible with ELSv7. No features missed out. There's no need for a modder to re-release or update all of his models, unless of course he wants to take advantage of some of the new possibilites given to him by ELSv7.

The Polizei BMW and the USBP Charger are ready now. Still need to finish the ELS configs for the LAPD Pack and need to start working on the configs for the Slicktop Pack as well as the two 2013 Interceptors.

I created another Taurus now, basicly just for trying the new functions of ELS7. It's probably going to be my first release in the last 5 months, I expect to publish it within the next week, before the other cars.

The headlight and taillight strobes are seperated from the takedowns, the lightbar front uses primary pattern, the rear secondary. The two LEDs next the Takedowns can be used as cruise lights.

I started a few other WIPs in the last weeks, expecting ELS7 to take longer to be released, they will be finished after the release of the other mods. These include a NYSP CVPI and Tahoe Pack as well as a GMC Savanna Prison Van, maybe a BMW F11.

Your my hero Cj! +1!
