I'm roleplaying an agency that just got the new Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles. Are there any Utility Interceptors out there with lightbars on them (preferrably with traffic advisor on the lightbar) yet?

 

All the ones I've looked up are slicktops and the lighting is inside.

There are a couple of Interceptor Utilities in the works from multiple authors right now. I'm sure at least one of them will be putting a lightbar on it.

Let's not all start these accusations again. BPM is the only one so far who has a proper marked 2013 Interceptor, so you can either choose to use it or wait for another modder to create his/her own.

That's the problem with people nowadays. They see mods they like, they download it. They enjoy it. They notice a bug, start whining. Without even THINKING of the volunteer work of the author behind it. When people download a mod they don't even consider reading the ReadMe. Not knowing who's behind the amazing project that has been made. They just download, play, downrate because they noticed something they don't like, and complain. So you guys go ahead use a thief's mod as Bollocks said, but he's right. I am glad to hear someone still does think of us. But being proud of a thief for ''publicing a great model'', I'm not even gonna spend words on that.

You are correct he tried to claim in you tube that it is converted from mist wanted but if you look at the door handles that gives it away with the interior both of the interceptors that bpm has were stolen from nfspolicehq that were scratch made by dodgeboy but ,ultimately nobody cares because they all just want the next new car that's out ,that is why we lose more modelers every day because yes it takes alot of work to convert the cars but if you convert these cars without respecting the wishes of the one who made the car it Is just wrong and then you turn around and lock the car so nobody can "steal" it,that is what gets me ,you don't want your conversion stolen but you didn't care when you stole it in the first place and yes I can offer proof but as I have gotten into it with people here who don't care where the car came from I just wanted to say my part and that is all I can say

I have alot of respect for you but unfortunately he is not the only one who has taken the car.Others that have taken them and have released them are well respected in the gta community they have done it time after time and it will never stop

BPM is the only one so far to have a "proper" interceptor because he doesn't care about people and their work, he just cares about making money from Youtube which literally sickens me. The reason why nobody else has done a proper one yet is because they most probably have respect for the original authors and refuse to steal/rip his work.

And you never fail to smell him at the gallery, mate. No offence, but LCPD:FR team might deploy you as a K9 to sniff that thief out. Just kidding mate. Apologies its just a way of saying, no harm meant 

By the way, if you buy a model, convert it and release it then, you violate the actual license of the vehicle in the most cases. And this is not any better than stealing.
 
But to get back on topic: Currently EVI is working on the Interceptor, he posted pictures here: http://www.gta-modding-chest.com/index.php?page=UserGalleryPhoto&photoID=137#profileContent. UndercoverChicken already posted several pictures of his Utility Van here in the gallery, I guess that one is finished soon.

Yeah BPM tricked someone to give him the model which is the same model as this one which was also stolen

This is the origional model from nfs made by dodgeboy(scratch made not taken from any other model) although they knew that the cars were made by someone who did not want his work converted they used it anyway ripping the cars from nfs (since they were locked)

thanks to repeated theft's we lost a really good model builder who decided to finally quit

BPM tried to say he was using the one from most wanted but if you compare the mesh and you look at the door handles on the nypd version and bpm's version you will see they are the same, the most wanted version has better door handles

i'm not trying to start a he stole or didn't discussion just handing out the facts

yeah I know people are going to say respected modeler blah,blah blah but let's be real he didn't scratch make the car and both nfs and gta communities could have easily worked together and just respect the modelers work

Thats the exact story that I heard when BPM was told not to release it. Policefanatic, to my understanding as well, was the only one that received permission for the explorer. I was granted permission, as well as bxbugs123 to template and finish the model to what you see now. I for one thank dodgeboy for his permission and the quality work that he does!

it is the digital millenium copyright act and those thieves can face legal action under this provision under the law that covers intellectual property such as scratch made 3d models worldwide

I have consulted with a legal team and found this to be the case here but those who stole the cars got lucky that dodgeboy got tired of his work being stolen and decided to just quit

Guys, I'm sorry to spark all this argument, but I was simply telling LtChuck that their model has a lightbar. I'm sure there will be better models soon, but currently (as far as I know) only theirs has a lightbar. I don't like using their mods either, for all the reasons that have been posted above, but some may feel they are viable options until a decent, original Explorer is released.

Wow, now that I know what dirty things BPM has been into, I will no longer use his mods.
