What about some optimization?I mean i got freezes on clean lspdfr version, and my pc aint even that bad

LSPDFR has been heavily optimized already - there's not that much room for optimization in base LSPDFR. e.g. when playing on a completely unmodified game without LSPDFR plugins, my FPS is pretty much the same between LSPDFR unloaded, loaded and on-duty.

This has been covered before. It's kinda hard to fix this when GTA V's ai is braindead to begin with. The only thing I can think of is something similar to that mimic feature that Albo1125 had in

Whenever I initiate a traffic stop and exit my vehicle, traffic moves slightly over into the center. While on small roads, I've had traffic smash into each other, and I find it a little unnatural on the freeway. I'm not sure if that is a native LSPDFR function or the aforementioned UB/STP feature. I hope this clarifies it. Sorry for the confusion.

If there could be a setting so we could adjust:

1) general fleeing cars speed (aggressiveness)

2) PIT execution difficulty (how difficult is to rotate suspect)

that would be handy.

I am tuning my lspdfr in that area to fit into my likings togheter with handling.meta and vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta.

I also read some post that one wants pusruits faster, other likes it slower or PIT is too easy/difficult - so maybe placing an option to adjust those settings would keep all of us happy 🙂

I'm really glad to learn that an 0.50 is in the works.  I returned to the Patreon though I can see there's been no dev updates since 2019.  Is it likely that there will be some new posts relative to the forthcoming update?   Would make for a good incentive to rekindle the old Patreon and naturally, we're all very invested to see what a new update may look like.

Apart from that though, thanks to you all, the dev team for keeping up with the prompt maintenance of LSPDFR!

I did a double check of the wiki and this currently is not a thing, though it would be nice to have.

@CyanI think adding some of the core Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped features to LSPDFR would be a good idea. I think that result of the way the plugins have been managed, and now not updated for over a year, dependency on UB and STP isn't good.

I think the most important features that should be a part of LSPDFR are having backup stick around a scene until you're finished, having some basic form of ped interaction menu and having an LSPDFR equivalent of the STP context menu.

With having backup stick around, obviously there should be a way to dismiss individual units or all the units, but I think that the LSPDFR team would be able to come up with some good ideas for how backup should respond to the player and the situation while on scene, basically having backup responding more dynamically to their environment, and not just standing there and copying the player's every move. As regards backup, I also agree with @Deputy kei's suggestion for ambient and backup K9 units.

Secondly, with a basic form of ped interaction menu, I envisage all the features that base LSPDFR allows when interacting with a ped to just be incorporated into a simple menu. I don't think that having every last feature that STP offers be incorporated into base LSPDFR is necessary, I think that an API (or something, idk code) that easily allows the community to add different features to this menu would be a better idea.

Thirdly, I think an LSPDFR equivalent of the context menu (i.e. a scene menu) would be a good idea, if you were to incorporate key UB/ STP features into LSPDFR. It could possibly even be under the same keybind as the ped interaction menu, with a selection at the top for 'Ped Interaction' or 'Scene'. Key features of such a menu would be the ability to call a towtruck and call a coroner. It would be good as well to have any service be able to be customised in a data file. Again, I think that including the minimum amount of features that is necessary for decent gameplay would be enough, with the community being able to add extra features that they would like to see.

Finally, thank you to the all LSPDFR team for all your hard work developing LSPDFR and keeping it up to date, and maintaining this website. Thank you also for taking the time to read my message!

I also think some of the features of Bejojio's plugins need to be incorporated in LSPDFR, especially now that he's not working anymore on them.

At least the basics like dui tests, partners, vehicle search, tow truck, questioning peds... I think it would also be more stable after all... crashes are not very rare

I would love to see option to enable and disable extras for the cars, you know, the engine upgrades and armor etc. and also those wrap around bar / Push Bars and whatnot.

This way people dont have to use a Trainer when they use LSPDFR.🤩

Please consider this.

Can't this be done via the garage?

It can. @eazbox I used to think the garage was not very useful, but I have come around to loving the various LSPDFR station functions. Want a slicktop instead of your regular old lightbar (with non-ELS)? Garage! Can't keep up with those pesky fleeing suspects? Garage! Want a custom license plate? Garage, garage, garage!

i love the garage

bruh moment

Spoiler

I'd really like to see an expanded immersion into the work of a traffic cop. San Andreas Highway Patrol.
1. A separate database in the police computer for searching for cars and people.
2. A list of wanted cars and people that we managed to find, so that there would be statistics for my character - rating of arrest, wanted list, etc. General statistics, even after re-entering the game. I would like to see how many useful things I have done.
3. The ability to issue fines and see them in the on-board computer, as well as their non-payment by the driver.
4. The opportunity to work as a tow truck operator and personally transport evacuated vehicles after a traffic accident.
5. More active events with NPCs (bots) of their faction LSPD, SASD, SAHP to carry out the instructions of the commander, helping the detective, uncoupling the place (I mean not always being the main initiator of the scene, and also, like other police bots, arriving at the ready scene and help in the situation).
6. Great idea to be a pilot's assistant (bot police NPC). You could be a patrol assistant and ride in the passenger seat, but NPCs are stupid.
7. The ability to install a block post from cars or a car with spikes on the map. I open the map and place the desired police unit at the point (spikes or blocking the road).
8. The ability to be taken to a medical facility for examination under drugs or to call a doctor to conduct an examination. It is better to conduct a drug test with doctors.
9. Car window tinting test.
10. The ability to work in a prison and escort from the police station to the Bowling Brook federal prison and interact with NPCs there.

Thank you very much for developing lspdfr 0.5.0.

It’s better to add interaction with NPCs from plugins to LSPDFR, but with the ability to disable them, so that the guys who create interaction plugins can come up with and implement something cool.

Once again thank you very much for your work. We are all looking forward to it.

Yes, but Not if you use Addon cars

How would they go about adding an extras section for what is technically a variable? As in they are additions to the game and not already existing files.

Colleagues! How do you like the idea of adding police officer statistics and developing the police computer?
I tried to describe 10 interesting proposals, did you like any of them?

While I do not Developer LSPDFR, would you mind clarifying what should be expanded upon that?

General statistics show the playing time in LSPDFR; number of calls received; number of arrests; fines; evacuated vehicles; the number of cars found according to the database of lost or stolen cars; percentage component for the qualification of offenses - we catch the violator and assign him a punishment, and the system in the form of a court checks whether we correctly identified the violation and assigned the amount of the fine; if not, then we have a minus in the statistics as an incorrect qualification. Example: the driver did not stop and a pursuit began. We detained him, sentenced him to 1 year of arrest and a fine of $1000, but he should have been given 6 months and a fine of $5000, according to Article 1.2 (A) of the state road code (example).
It is worthwhile to work out the system of arrest and prosecution. Sometimes NPCs did not commit a particular crime, and officers are unreasonably held accountable for an imaginary (non-existent) crime.

  • Community Team

If G17 sees fit to make some kind of court system similar to STP's system, then they will with time. Core problem is that if people use StopThePed to arrest people, the stats won't be counted as they can't be integrated in.
