Guys it doesn't matter.

RockStar is such a odd company. However they made announcements to release in 2013. I think we are ready to see the push of it :D

  • I signed the petition all the same, they do however need to understand that PC games for GTA is still on high demand, look at SA, it has it's own section on GPM and it's still growing, the possibiliti

I signed just because why not. I wasn't too comfortable giving them my home address, so I figured they could have my ex-girlfriends instead.

  • No, it won't.   Think of how many units each GTA game sells in its average lifespan.   Now look at how many have signed that petition, its not enough.   Simply saying "Because we want it on PC"

I did sign it but i don't think it will matter that much, i'm sure rockstar will release it 7 months after the console release

It wasn't just an an announcement for 2013, it was a release date for spring 2013, i think you can pre order it now.

It would change it if all the children didn't get mom to buy them the ps3 the xbox and then the game for each system.

if you count the petition (130k+ currently) as being LOST REVENUE, that is significant. let's see, 6500000$ loss in game sales by this petition only. But they know this is not what this means. What it means is that 98% of those signatures will buy it for ps3, then for xbox and then for PC. so by releasing it in stages, R* triple bleeds your parents. Just look at the threads on this site (which is 100% pc based) and see if you can argue with the above in any way..

Well we could all not sign it and then definatly not get their attention, IF WE SIGN IT AS A LARGE GROUP, trust me it will be noticed, trust me i might just know lol.......Keep the sigs going and keep on signing. Another thing is this is a good protest for young teens as well.

Im sure some of Rockstars PR know about this petition now, and i would like to see a PC version before the end of the year.

But bearing in mind Red Dead Redemption's lack of PC version, and Max Payne's ridiculous requirements for PC im worried that the effort of making GTA V PC would not make that much in sales, especially as I dont know anyone that will have a computer decent enough to run a game as gorgeous as GTA V. Not to mention pirates...

Good job i still have an xbox, I really could not wait for a PC release

This isn't a "protest". That term deserves better than to be applied to something like this. All it would tell teens is "companies don't care about you, they just care about money".

Actually, now that I think about it, that is an important thing for people to learn.

We should star a white house petition so they government orders them to do it! We only need 100,000 signatures  to get a response!

Yea, I doubt the demigogs in the White House would be interested in any realease of GTAV at all (or Hitman, or GTAIV or just about anything with a gun in it).  They are trying to ban violent games, guns and soon your liberty; the aftermath of the Conneticuit shooting.  As a matter of fact, if you bring GTAV to the attention of the White House, they will definatly put rockstargames in the crosshairs of the heavy hand of government and it will never see the light of day.

Good day,

Again, nothing on their newswire so I'm counting it as a rumor.

EDIT: I also translated that site, nowhere on that page does it say "Rockstar"

Even so, that's just stating who made the game. Its what Amazon and any other online retailer does.
