I wonder if you could use the light-up letters to make an unmarked that said "POLICE" on the sides when you turn on the lights.

Maybe you could use that to simulate a reflective surface?

And then someone with epilepsy drove by....

People with epilepsy aern't allowed to hold a Drivers' License

Slimory....False. I was diagnosed with epilepsy the last year I was in the Army. True, I wasn't allowed to drive for over a year, but after being on medication, they lifted that condition....Now granted, if I have another episode, they would take that privilage away again, until I was seizure free for at least 1 year...but knock on wood, haven't had a problem in 10 years.

I can understand that epilepsy is not fun, however, no one and i mean NO ONE should operate a motor vehicle of any kind once diagnosed with it, and i say this because a friend of mine was leaving work and a fellow employee was leaving working for the day and took aan epliptic caesar and wrote his van off, flashing lights can cause ceasars, if you have epilepsy, that put's me and everyone else at risk of being badly injured or worse.

Know what happened to the guy that hit my buddy? he lost his license, and can now never hold one again, laws are laws and they should be enforced the same everywhere, whether it be Canada, USA or Germany, Public Safety, is Public Safety.

Don't even get me started on driving lol i can go on for days about how things should be done.

Laws are laws, but the entire reason there are different states in the world (in the poli-sci sense, where "state"="government") is so that the laws can be different from place to place.

That's gonna be a pleasant repair bill to get in the mail if that cruiser ever gets trashed in a pursuit or a normal accident.

Recently, I've seen a NYPD car pull over a pickup, it was a Nissan Altima, and under the standard red/white lightbar was a lcd with scrolling text, it read something along the lines of "POLICE EMERGENCY" in blue text on a ablack background. I haven't seen it on any other car. That said, if the police have an scrolling text display on the roof, I'm sure LCD lit parts are possible, but I was thinking more along the lines of stripes or something that would stay on, not flashing when the police vehicle had its headlights on during the night or emergency lights on.

Am I the only one that thinks there are too many lights on some cars? In real life and with some of the ELS cars modders have been making, I like the NYPD layout, a light bar on top with reflective blue decals on a white paintjob, and two pairs of rear windshield lights and grill lights for the unmarked cars.

My personal preference is making a Police Vehicle look like a UFO, you can NEVER be too cautious    i LOVE Police Vehicles with an ass ton of light's, yes there should be a limit of visibility but if your driving down the road and all you see is a blob of light then you really have no excuse as to why you didn't pull over for 10 blocks.

Meanwhile, I prefer unmarked cruisers.

People won't commit a crime if they can see the Christmas Angel coming down the road. An unmarked or stealth cruiser allows officers to pass by would-be offenders and then take them down.

Well, I like responding to calls more than paying attention to whats goin' on in my surroundings lol.

Generally, I find people not committing crimes to be a good thing.
