What's New in Version 0.0.2.1

Released

🛠️ Version 0.0.2.1

🚨 New Callout

  • Domestic Disturbance (BETA): A 911 dispatch reports a heated verbal or physical altercation inside a private residence, reported by neighbors due to loud screaming, the sound of breaking objects, or potential physical threats.

🍱 Inventory & Survival System

  • Food & Drinks Management: Stock up on supplies and consume them whenever needed. (with Animation)

  • Keybind Fixes: Added conflict checks to prevent input overlap between the inventory key and other MoreCallout controls.

⚡ Performance & Optimizations

  • Resource Optimization: Refactored the inventory system and HUD status indicators (hunger, thirst, and fuel) to reduce unnecessary background ticks and improve overall performance.

Old Versions

🛠️ Version 0.0.2.0

🚨 New Callout

  • Shoplifting (BETA): Investigate a reported theft at a local store, question both the employee and the suspect, and check the receipt. Stay on your toes—the situation is dynamic and can result in peaceful cooperation, a fleeing suspect, an assault, or a simple misunderstanding.

🍱 Inventory & Survival System

  • Food & Drinks Management: Stock up on supplies and consume them whenever needed.

  • Storage & Persistence: Carry up to 10 units per item. Your inventory automatically saves across game sessions.

  • Controls & UI: Press O to toggle the inventory menu. You can rebind this key under Settings → Hunger & Thirst.

  • Keybind Fixes: Added conflict checks to prevent input overlap between the inventory key and other MoreCallout controls.

🧠 AI & Dialogue Enhancement

  • NPCAI Integration: Added optional NPCAI support for more dynamic and natural conversations with callout NPCs.

⚡ Performance & Optimizations

  • Resource Optimization: Refactored the inventory system and HUD status indicators (hunger, thirst, and fuel) to reduce unnecessary background ticks and improve overall performance.

🛠️ Version 0.0.1.9

  • Added a hunger and thirst system. Keep your character fed and hydrated while on patrol.

  • Added shops where you can buy food and drinks for $7 each.

  • Added warnings when hunger or thirst gets low. Empty needs gradually reduce health, but cannot kill your character.

  • Added a separate MoreCallout wallet. Earn $50 every 2 in-game hours on duty, with a notification when your salary arrives. This uses GTA’s clock, not real-world hours.

  • Your money and progress toward your next salary are saved between sessions.

  • Added circular hunger and thirst indicators, with food and water icons, plus a dollar icon showing your balance.

  • Redesigned the fuel indicator with a circular progress ring, fuel-pump icon and percentage.

  • Added a Hunger and Thirst submenu below Fuel settings. Enable or disable the feature, change the HUD position and manually add MoreCallout money.

  • Hunger and thirst indicators appear beside the minimap by default, leaving room for notifications above it.

  • Added translations for the new menus and messages in all 11 supported languages.

🛠️ Version 0.0.1.8

  1. Fixed issues that could prevent GangShootout, MoneyTruckTheft, and VipEscort from starting.

  2. Improved MoneyTruckTheft compatibility with replacement vehicles.

  3. Adjusted the armed person’s spawn in AttemptedSuicide to prevent them from floating above the ground.

  4. Checked that callouts respect the distances set in the menu and fixed a distance issue in OfficerDown.

  5. Corrected gas station locations in Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay, and along Route 68.

  6. Removed the duplicate gas station marker on Palomino Freeway and the marker for a nonexistent station on El Burro Boulevard.

  7. Improved cleanup when a callout is cancelled during startup.

🛠️ Version 0.0.1.7

🚨New Callouts

MissingPerson, WarrantForArrest, AttemptedSuicide: Introduced complex mechanics including clue searching, negotiation with multiple outcomes (e.g., disarming or jumping), actual verification of successful arrests (fleeing and pursuits are not enough), and direct interaction with first responders.

🛠️Rework: MinorTrafficAccident

  • Scene realism: Vehicles aligned to the road with consistent physical damage, active hazard lights, and separate drivers with independent or conflicting statements.

  • Investigation dynamics: Separate inspections (front/rear), real ID checks (based on LSPDFR), and markers that dynamically update if cars are bumped or moved.

  • Medical support (StopThePed): If installed, allows you to manage the ambulance via StopThePed. If not installed, it triggers an automatic fallback to the base LSPDFR ambulance.

⚡Stability and Fixes

  • Scenario generation: Improved pedestrian spawn logic (closer to the set limits) and added rural locations for several specific callouts.

  • Safety and rollback: Protected 14 pre-existing callouts with anti-crash systems. If scene creation fails (e.g., in ArmsDealRaid or Trespassing), the system cancels the event, cleaning up all partially generated entities.

  • Specific fixes: Resolved bugs in NoiseComplaint (unloaded terrain) and IllegalStreetRace (vehicles impossible to remove). Delayed activities now verify if the call is still active before proceeding.

  • Interface: The manual menu now indicates the exact reason if a callout fails to start (e.g., out of range, invalid location).

  • Statistics: Integrated a usage statistics system with a private dashboard, which can also be disabled.

🛠️ Version 0.0.1.6

🌟 New Features and Functionality

  • Distance Logic: Calls respect the configured minimum and maximum range thresholds, strictly preventing locations from spawning outside the allowed radius.

  • Dialogue Progression: Each key press now advances the dialogue by exactly one stage. The default key is set to Y (customizable in the settings menu).

  • Officer Down Rework (OfficerDown): Overhauled callout logic with a dynamic chance to find the officer alive, perimeter securing, first aid mechanics, and handover to medical personnel.

🚨 New Callout

  • Missing Person (MissingPerson): Multi-stage callout featuring witness interaction, clue discovery, search area exploration, and target recovery with foot escort or medical transport assistance.

⚡ System Optimizations

  • Concurrency & Stability: Improved general code stability during the simultaneous handling of threads (GameFiber) and vehicle/pedestrian monitoring loops.

  • Crash Fix: The crash has been fixed

  • GangShootout: A shootout between two rival gangs (4 members total). The confrontation only triggers when you approach the area.

  • HighSpeedPursuit: A high-speed pursuit featuring sports cars and supercars (including the Zentorno, T20, and Adder). The vehicle only flees once you draw near.

  • Plugin loading notification displaying the version number and Discord community link.

⚙️ Universal Features

  • Siren Detection: Approaching with active sirens allows suspects to detect your presence early and react before reaching the default trigger radius.

  • NPC Persistence: Vehicles and characters no longer despawn automatically during an active callout; they remain on scene until the callout naturally concludes.

  • Native Backup: Pursuit-based callouts register directly with LSPDFR's pursuit framework, allowing official backup requests via the radio.

No, I made some changes to the description and things like that, but LCPDFR treats it as an update. As I mentioned in the description, the update will be released as soon as the necessary tools for the new GTA 5 update become available, allowing me to test the new features and then upload the updated plugin.

Ah, okay, then we'll work on supporting the paid version of Nexus as well.

After updating to the beta version of nexus it seemed to work finally, but so many of these callouts like garage robbery, residential robbery, commercial robbery, drug deal, suspicious deal they all spawn in the middle of the road, sometimes on a highway, no where near a property for robberies, drug deals in the middle of the road,

bomb threat a box spwaned in the middle of the road, then it said no device in sight.

attemped suicide just does the same thing, middle of the road with someone standing next to him, copy paste

even out of control party, middle of the road, 1 guy standing over someone,

bar fight middle of the road again same scene,

tresspassing, just oin the middle of the road, i doin't get it

is it just mine doing this? Or are these meant to be other places

It's a beta; we're working on it. And as mentioned in the description, I wasn't able to test it due to the GTA5 update.

Whats the Point of releasing a new Update and then link to your Site? Why Not just updating it here and uploading a new file?

I understand the extra click might be inconvenient! I keep LCPDFR reserved strictly for stable, official releases. All beta testing builds and official updates are hosted on my website first to ensure everything is thoroughly tested before making a full release here. Appreciate your understanding!

When I saw the "Train accident" callout, I wanted to give the pack a try... Here are my first impressions:

  • In many callouts, the suspect(s) starts to walk away, but comes back toward the player/scene once you arrive on scene.

  • In some callouts, the suspect falls/gets stuck under the map.

  • Most callouts seem to conclude as soon as you arrive at the scene, or when you're close enough to one of the people involved (except for callouts where a suspect starts to flee).

  • Some callouts seem to spawn too close and immediately stop (Code 4).

Specific callouts feedback:

  1. Abandoned briefcase (2×)

    No briefcase.

  2. Suspicious package

    ... no package.

  3. Person wandering on highway

"The person is walking in a dangerous area."

    *Walking on the sidewalk*

  4. Arson

No sign of a fire, a gas can, or anything else. Just a person walking.

  5. Railroad accident

*Callout is located on a beach* 🤔 (seem to be able to spawn anywhere)

... no train, or anything else 😥

We are aware of all of this and are currently mobilizing to resolve these issues. Thank you very much for your feedback!

After testing several of the callouts, the pack unfortunately feels very incomplete and unfinished in its current state.

There seem to be fundamental issues with both the spawn logic and the actual flow of many callouts. For example:

  • Peds who flee do not properly trigger a pursuit.

  • Welfare Check can spawn the subject randomly in the middle of the road.

  • Traffic Accident can spawn in locations where the scenario makes little sense.

  • Wanted Person Spotted can spawn the suspect directly on the road without any proper scene setup.

  • Robbery Reported can also spawn directly on the road. The robber may simply stand there looking in a random direction while the victim is kneeling on the ground, with little to no meaningful interaction or clear progression of the callout.

These are not just minor bugs or polish issues. They affect the basic functionality and immersion of the callouts and, in several cases, make them feel unfinished or practically unplayable.

I also do not really understand the decision to add such a large number of callouts at once when many of the ones I tested still have major issues. In my opinion, it would make much more sense to start with fewer callouts, make sure each one has reliable spawn logic, a clear scenario flow, proper interactions, pursuit handling, and appropriate locations, and then gradually expand the pack with additional well-developed callouts.

Having a large number of callouts sounds good on paper, but quantity does not add much value when the individual scenarios lack basic functionality or proper scene design. I would much rather see a smaller selection of polished and reliable callouts than a very large selection where many feel incomplete.

The concept of the pack has potential, but in its current state it feels like many of the callouts were added before they were actually finished and properly tested.

I get random italian messages with the high speed pursuit callout, also there is no Pursuit activated. image.png

I'm trying to give you helpful feedback, if you have any questions feel free to contact me

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed and honest review. You bring up very valid points!

I completely agree with your advice regarding quality over quantity. I'm currently working on a major overhaul where I will focus on fixing the spawn logic, fixing the pursuit triggers, removing all leftover untranslated text (the Italian messages), and ensuring each callout has proper flow and scene setup.

Feedback like yours is essential for making this pack what it should be. Thanks again for helping me improve it!
