A full police computer for LSPDFR with live records from Policing Redefined or Stop The Ped.

pdComp adds a police laptop and field tablet to GTA V. Check people and vehicles, file reports, issue citations, review court cases, track BOLOs, and use built-in traffic tools from one system.

New in v0.4.2

Added configurable LSPDFR callouts for active vehicle BOLOs and outstanding court warrants.
BOLO encounters can feature an abandoned vehicle, a compliant driver, or a vehicle pursuit.
Warrant subjects may surrender, flee, or resist, with charge severity and prior history influencing their behavior.
Added voiced watch-supervisor radio audio for BOLO and warrant assignments, updates, prior-contact warnings, and resolutions.
Citations can now include officer-selected enhancements such as school-zone and work-zone conditions that adjust fines, points, and court-appearance requirements.
Ped Lookup can now submit arrest-warrant requests using the charge catalog. Approved requests enter the same warrant-service system as failure-to-appear and failure-to-pay warrants.
Outstanding court warrants and their recorded reasons now appear directly on matching Ped Lookup profiles.
Expanded the public add-on API with detached ped and vehicle record lookups, collected-record searches, prior-history snapshots, and deeper paperwork, court, and call-context data.

Records Support

pdComp requires either Policing Redefined or Stop The Ped.

Policing Redefined supports shared records, arrest sync, tested evidence, traffic-stop data, transport requests, and radio BOLO alerts. Stop The Ped supplies document status, search results, and found breath, drug, and weapon test results.

Downloads

Most players only need pdComp v0.4.3. The Developer SDK is a separate download intended for mod makers building pdComp add-ons.

Newtonsoft.Json is built into pdComp. No separate Newtonsoft download or fallback installation is required.

pdComp v0.4.3

WHAT’S NEW

* Replaced GTA’s text-entry box with pdComp’s own editor. Citation, arrest, and report fields are now edited directly in place, scale with your resolution, and match the laptop or tablet theme.

* Charge, citation, warrant-charge, and evidence searches now filter as you type.

* Text fields support Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X, and Ctrl+A, plus Shift+arrow selection. Multiline fields keep pasted paragraphs.

* Added a registration and insurance viewer for Policing Redefined, NPCI, and Stop The Ped document requests. Handed-over paperwork appears behind a View Documents button on the matching Vehicle Lookup record, opens side by side, and closes with Escape or controller B.

* Registration uses an official DMV-style form, and insurance cards support drop-in fictional carrier artwork.

* Added optional PedTalk AI V2 support. When installed, PedTalk receives scoped context for the exact people involved in stops, searches, citations, arrests, and pdComp callouts. No extra download or setting is required.

* Completed PedTalk AI 1.4.1 ID requests now open the matching Ped Lookup profile when exactly one nearby person matches the confirmed name and date of birth.

* Expanded the public add-on API with an identity handoff that selects a live subject in Ped Lookup by handle, name, and date of birth.

CHARGES & CITATIONS

* Filled the most-requested gaps in the default catalog, based on player submissions through the pdComp website.

* Added assault or battery on a peace officer, firefighter, or EMT. It files as a misdemeanor by default, with options for officer injury or a deadly weapon.

* Burglary (first or second degree) and vehicle theft are their own charges again. The older options under Trespass and Theft still work.

* Added firearm with an altered or removed serial number, machine gun possession (including converting a firearm to automatic), openly carrying an unloaded firearm in public, and federal bank robbery.

* Drug possession can now record the drug involved, such as heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, hallucinogens, or MDMA and GHB.

* Attempted murder now has a peace officer or firefighter victim option, and manslaughter can be filed as voluntary, involuntary, or vehicular.

* Brandishing now covers knives and other deadly weapons, not just firearms.

* Renamed several charges and citations to the wording officers search for, including expired license, registration, and insurance; failure to maintain lane; failure to obey a traffic control device; felon or prohibited person in possession of a firearm; impersonating a peace officer; resisting or obstructing an officer; and receiving or possessing stolen property.

* Charge and citation codes are unchanged, so existing records and custom catalogs keep working.

IMPROVEMENTS

* The laptop and tablet no longer pause the game while open. With PauseGameWhileTextInputActive enabled, the game pauses only while you type, which keeps typed keys away from plugins such as Policing Redefined.

* The text-entry banner now shows save and cancel controls, clipboard shortcuts, and whether the game is actually paused.

* Moving the mouse saves the current field and returns you to the cursor. It takes one deliberate sweep, so a resting hand will not end a report mid-sentence.

* The page behind an active field keeps drawing, and the caret no longer makes the text shift.

* In CDF mode, the ALPR now reads existing BOLO, stolen, owner-wanted, and registration records instead of generating its own hits. Hit chance and category weights now apply only to Stop The Ped.

FIXES

* Fixed CDF-mode ALPR scans creating offenses, changing a vehicle’s registered owner, or marking the driver wanted.

* Fixed an old wanted status sticking to a vehicle owner after a newer record had cleared it.

* Fixed text from background windows drawing over the window in front.

* Fixed the game and UI flickering while typing.

* Fixed the install instructions leaving out the lspdfr folder, which holds the supervisor radio audio.

plugin is WIP and features will change/evolve/disappear throughout development as I strive more maximum stability and functionality

hey love this mod! is it possible to make the font bigger for every page in the computer besides just the charging menu? would really help see everything better. thanks

You can change the weight of charges somewhere right? I charged a suspect for murdering a fellow officer and they got 8 years in prison. Another arrest was for murdering 2 people and he got 14 years. Surely I can go make an adjustment somewhere to weight murder heavier? BTW, AWESOME plugin, I love it.

I would guess that is from a custom charge catalog? Those sentences don’t seem right.

That is all set within the catalogs

Hello, the pdComp plugin is really great—I love it. There are no bugs, and everything works perfectly.

Just one question: how do I flag a vehicle that is fleeing a checkpoint, and which key do I press to turn that flagged vehicle into a pursuit target?

i noticed suspended reg, license, insurance expired reg, license, insurance charges are not in the system!

I’m having an issue. Every time I write someone a citation and try to give it to them it doesn’t work. I even changed around the key bindings and it still doesn’t work.

i notice when running plates and then asking ped for license and registration/insurance with STP what returns in the computer for expiry dates doesnt match what the ped gives me for documents like the computer will say expire for insurance is 2027/11/27 but when i ask the ped for insurance it will say 2025/08/10

is this FULLY compatible with AIDispatch (for Policing Redefined) and also Policing Redefined? and also i use AiDispatch to run plates and ped lookups, so will this mod conflict with AIDispatch's flags, BOLOs, etc?

I have never looked into AIDispatch.

If it uses CDF or STP then yes, if it uses its own data framework then no

Absolutely loving this plugin, such a nice feel compared to CompuLite (no hate here); however one of the issues I've had with it so far and others may have mentioned this, is when using the built in ALPR, if a warrant is active to a person/car, once you stop them and get their info the vehicle normally matches the ALRP hit but the driver won't, then when running the current driver the warrant will match the ALPR hit but the name won't be the same as the initial hit or Registered Owner. Hopefully that makes sense, also using STP.

AIDispatch uses the Policing Redefined framework, so all information is synced with Policing Redefined. Also if I use the ALPR system of pdComp, will that conflict with any policing redefined pedestrian info like BOLO, status, vehicle status, etc?

I have noticed that whenever I finish using this plugin, I cannot exit my patrol vehicle, which sucks especially if I wanna call for a prisoner transport.

May we please have the ability to lookup Court Cases on the Tablet? Currently it's in the car only. I use it to roleplay a "Rapid Court Case" lol. If the perp isn't given jail time, I uncuff them at the station. Currently, I have to get back in the car to check the results properly. I realize there's a popup window but that doesn't go into detail.

I am not sure if this is just me or if anyone else has had this issue but when I exit the plug in, my car SPAZZES. It like jumps and crashes into stuff. Will post a video later but unsure?

It may also be my keybinds, what do yall use for keybinds? Mine right now is left control and H. Shouldnt cause anything but may just need to change it

I am having a a weird issue in .4.2 where sometimes going to my computer disconnects my mouse from the computer. When I revert to 4.1, the issue is gone.

First - Awesome mod! Second - I just put this mod back in my game and for some reason it will not use the INI changes I made to bring up the computer in car. I changed it to Rmenu which is what i have used before but every time it loads it shows as ' for both tablet and in car computer. Did something change that you can't change the key binds anymore?

Hi , Great plugin ,its awesome how it integrated to PR ...

Here some insights that you may consider to improve it:

Can you improve the UI\Graphics that it would look like a new tablet (nexus style) and add options to chat with peds \ supervisor .

Adding easy navigation to street\postal code that would mark the route on map.

scenario examples :

*Some ped says they borrowed the car they driving - add the option to verify it with the owner .

*consult with supervisor on scene\callouts situations.

Some Issues I found :

*When issuing arrest ,evidence list keeps showing evidence that already linked on previous arrest and the list window is too small .

*When searching charge or citation charge ,pressing some key buttons popping other plugin menus on background , a bit annoying .

I just download the new update 0.43, I would like to ask that why ALPR hit so many cars. I wouldn't touch the setting. Just drag and drop. I check the setting for ALPR, but it is fine like before the new update.
