Major Update 1.2.0 Now Live! New Levels Added!

ABOUT

Interior Callouts is a unique callouts pack that utilizes Enable All Interiors to create intense, realistic police/SWAT scenarios. Each callout is meticulously crafted to provide a sense of real-life police interactions, where people are inherently unpredictable. This callout uses randomized probability to decide on the behavior of every single AI in each call, ensuring multiple different outcomes and maximum replayablility.

While there are only two callouts in the pack at the moment, each provides a unique experience.

  •       Trespassing – A police scenario, with multiple different locations and 25 different outcomes.
  •       Barricaded Suspects – A police or SWAT scenario, with 3 locations and an almost infinite number of outcomes, no playthrough will be exactly the same. There will be certain objectives to achieve during every scenario, which will be scored at the end of the mission.

With over 20,000 lines of code, this callout pack is an ambitious project. If you appreciate my work, feel free to show your support here. Please leave a review!

HOW TO PLAY

Barricaded Suspects

1.       Ensure LSPDFR is loaded, and you are on duty. You can either wait for the callout to spawn randomly or use a callout launcher.

2.      Arrive on scene. Prepare equipment (armor, long guns, etc.).

3.      The location of the entrance to the callout should be marked on your map with a white garage symbol.

Could contain: screenshot, white, black, graphics, black and white, graphic design, line, designCould contain: blue, screenshot, majorelle blue, ground, indoor, window

Once you are at that location, you may see a blue circle, which you can stand inside and press “E” to enter the interior. If there isn’t a blue circle, look for enterable doors. You can just walk through these doors to enter the interior.

4.      To command a suspect, aim your weapon at them, and then press Y to command them. (A prompt should pop up in the top left corner of your screen)

5.      Continue to interact with them until an outcome occurs.

         a.      Some suspects may not respond to commands, this is intentional, and they may also walk away from you.

         b.       If the use of deadly force is necessary, use it.

         c.      If a suspect is compliant or has given up after the interaction has finished, arrest them (with StopMyPed or LSPDFR Vanilla Arrest) and move on.

6.      Defend yourself if necessary. Some suspects may not want to talk.

7.      Go slow, be careful. You can die easily.

8.      Complete all objectives. Objectives will pop up as completed when they are fully finished. Your performance will be scored at the end.

9.      Once all suspects, civilians and objectives have been completed, a prompt will show up to end the callout. Attend to the leftover suspects as you see fit.

Trespassing

1.       Ensure LSPDFR is loaded, and you are on duty. You can either wait for the callout to spawn randomly or use a callout launcher.

2.      Arrive on scene.

(Common for gas stations, barber shops, etc.)

3.      Press Y to interact and talk with the suspect

4.      Continue to talk to the suspect until an outcome occurs

BUG REPORTING & TROUBLESHOOTING

Please report all bugs in the callout pack on the LSPDFR mod page or message me on Discord @ Vixloi

  •        If nothing is working, ensure all requirements are properly installed. If still not working, fully delete the callout and requirements, and do a fresh install.
  •        If Interiors are not enterable, confirm EnableAllInteriors is installed correctly, with the latest version of SCHVDN-Nightly.
  •        Note: If your computer is considered a “potato” it is highly likely that EAI and this callout will not run correctly. This callout is performance intensive.
  •        If EnableAllInteriors is not working, try installing InteriorsV

Hey Vixloi, what a great idea you had with this plugin! I enjoy it and I hope to see more updates coming, can't wait to play more of it ❤️

Thanks a lot! I appreciate your support! It all started when one day my friend and I were playing RoN and we were talking about how cool it would be to have the same thing, but in LSPDFR, where you actually had to respond to the call from dispatch. And, the rest is history from there. Progress will be slow, but I plan to add in suspects taking hostages, suspects hiding weapons, civs quickdrawing phones on you, traps, and maybe AI voices (if I like them).

Stay tuned for more progress!

Sorry to hear you've having an issue. I investigated your log file but did not find anything of note that would help me see why it crashed. Callout manager crashed with a stack trace but no reason why. Please reinstall with the latest version of the callout, following the installation instructions carefully. Please make sure the requirements are installed properly in the correct place. If you still are having issues, please contact me personally on Discord (@ Vixloi) and we can iron it out.

Can't get it to work at all. I followed the instructions and it does not let me enter the coroner building at all. The call works fine. But the NPCs spawn outside instead of being inside of the building. Only 2 of the NPCs (the rogue doctor and some other suspect) spawned inside. No interior inside.

Sorry to hear you are having such issues! It sounds like Enable All Interiors is not installed correctly. Please make sure to follow the interior callout readme file installation instructions carefully, as putting files in the wrong locations will cause the callout not to work. The readme files covers the installation of all of the requirements, so you can ignore the installation instructions from their websites. You can check if EAI is installed correctly by looking at your map, and seeing if white garage symbols are now shown on your in-game pause menu map.

If you continue to have issues with this callout, please contact me personally on discord (@ Vixloi) and we can sort it out.

Alright, I'll see what I can do. Hopefully I can get it to work after I fix my GTA (again.......☠️).

That shouldn't be necessary, however, as long as it's working for you, no complaints.

InteriorsV works fine for those that can't get the other EAI or OAI to work.  Not a big fan of my partners waiting outside, had to use a few tricks to get them in.

Not sure I would include SHVDN to be honest.  It updates too frequently and it's bound to cause issues not to mention needing auth to include it in the download itself.  Nah, I would just give the link in description, that way people can just download themselves if it needs this prereq.

Appreciate the confirmation of those other interior mods working as well!

Unfortunately the barricaded suspects isn’t really designed for using partners (at least ultimate backup didn’t work that well when I used it cause all my partners just stood around dead bodies or near arrested suspects), however, if you have a suggestion on a better partner mod to use, let me know!

I did include SHVDNN in the download in an effort to dumb proof the installation, which is allowed due to their license (and has been cleared by LSPDFR staff), but I do understand it gets updated frequently. I’ve been keeping an eye on it, and if it gets too much for me to continuously update this callout when SHVDNN updates, I’ll likely take it out and just update the readme on how to install it.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Feel free to DM me and we can figure it out. Discord @ Vixloi.

Some others have said that using InteriorsV may help. I've ran through the install instructions multiple times to make sure they work, however, that is only on my computer. It's possible they don't work on other people's computer (for god knows what reason).

Cheers and let me know if you need anymore help!

Sorry to hear that you had a crash. If you want to send the me log file, I can look through it and see if there is an issue. The reason it is saying that it needs to be updated (even though it is fully up to date) is because I had to change some backend stuff that ended up rolling back the version number in the file's DLL properties to match correctly (It was on 1.6 by accident and I changed to to 1.06 to be correct) so you can safely ignore that. But I would like to investigate why it crashed on you because this version should be pretty stable.

Did you install OpenAllInteriors or InteriorsV?

If installed correctly, you should see these a bunch of white garage symbols on your map (before starting the callout).

The location of the entrance to the callout should be marked on your map with a white garage symbol.

Could contain: screenshot, white, black, graphics, black and white, graphic design, line, design

The entrance to the callout will be marked with a blue circle marker.

Could contain: blue, screenshot, majorelle blue, ground, indoor, window
If you do not see these while in game, please follow the installation instructions carefully to ensure proper installation.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

If you still have issues with EAI after following the installation instructions, some other users have suggested using the mod InteriorsV with better luck.

Yes I know, thanks for letting me know. I have not figured out how to code that feature in. It is something I am working on, as this is my first callout. The best way to keep up to date at the moment is to follow the callout on LSPDFR.com so you know when updates are released.

Is there any chance you could an option in the INI to have the only locations for the callouts to be the ones where you can walk inside the building without a teleporter?

I greatly appreciate it! I had a few callout ideas as well. A customs raid on the chicken plant and then various search warrants and arrest warrants for several places (ranging from white collar crimes to homicides, maybe even one involving the Lifeinvader building for an ICAC investigation if that isn't something that'd be too dark that leads to getting a search and/or arrest warrant for a random property
