This mod is not causing tasers to be deadly. Likely something else effecting your game.

Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

 

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

I've realized this mod has an affect on damage when I get flung off a bike or escape a car. I seem to be invincible when i am on a Bike and I get flung of LOL

This specifically checks for gun damage, it shouldn't touch you otherwise.

So you may have something else effecting you in game, since when I fall out of a vehicle or something the damage is normal. Check your trainer settings.

Oh man I really like the ultimate backup support. That is the one that provide dispatch audio sending backup. The default didn't have a audio and unit response to the shooting without the dispatch notify. Perhaps next update add in dispatch audio when shot are fired.

Hey, what do you think about making peds draw their weapons slower or in a more realistic way?

In default GTA they instantaneously draw their weapons when they shoot at you. It would be cool to see a somewhat realistic weapon drawing animation from peds so the situation can play out in a more realistic way.

 

Idk if that's a possibility but it's just a suggestion that I think will make encounters feel more natural.

I've taken trainer off my directory and it seems to have this affect only when i have body armour equipped. I guess this mod has no relation to physical falls?

Great plugin but my load out keeps getting erased and is made the default LSPDFR one, is this intentional?

That is because of Stop the Ped, not this.

Awesome plugin! One thing i will add is to disable for AI, for example i have a callout with an armoured individual and with this plugin installed it goes from a very tough opponent to a one tap which i think ruins the calllout, other than this i believe the plugin is perfect!

If you haven't already fixed this you can go to the stop the ped ini and you will see loadout options to change, if you need anymore help or are unsure about anything just chuck us a message!

Hey there, love your mod. there is one one problem i have. sometimes when i'm killed, instead of it saying wasted it still acts like im playing, then ends up forever loading.

Would there be a chance to make the backup that comes (or at least be optional in the .ini) be ultimate backup instead? since i love that feature but at the same time i really miss the UB backup

It causes too much issues, even as an option in the ini. I am sorry.

Love the plugin, 5 stars. There's just one minor thing. Would it be possible for you to implement an option that lets you disable the damage system for peds? While I like it by itself, I have a mod that improves ragdoll effects which doesn't really do anything if your plugin kills the ped after one or 2 shots already.

Sorry for not naming it better, the ped damage is included with the ai, so in the ini disable the "EnableBetterAI" option and it will no longer touch other peds.

Hello, I have a question!


So I really like the features this mod has even tho I haven't tried it yet, but when you say 'removed UB support' does it mean that whoever uses UB along with this mod is gonna have the game crash immediately after firing a weapon due to the automatic backup thing? Or it just means the "normal" backup from LSPDFR will respond so it will still be backup but not as improved as the UB one?


If it's the latter, any chance an option of enabling/disabling the actual automatic backup from this plugin can be implemented? So like, instead of enabling or disabling the UB support, people can just disable the automatic backup feature of this script and stick to calling backup by themselves using whatever else mod we have.

 

EDIT: Ok so I actually downloaded and noticed the Panic option which we can set to true or false, so I assume if that's set to false, no backup will come upon shooting and we can just call it ourselves with Ultimate Backup, that should work I guess!

I noticed that, although the function is active, when two peds are fired it seems not to work because, for example, when I am involved in a shooting, my colleagues take 4-5 shots to knock out the suspect, if I shoot it is enough  one or maximum two, as it should be.  can you check?

When I had it so it checked every ped, it caused you to loose about 10 - 15 FPS. I had to make it player only to prevent lag.

Sounds like Stop The Ped. Mod has a realistic weapon system and it overrides if you spawn in other weapons. Turn it off in the mod's context menu (G) or set it to not turn on by default on launch in the .ini

How did you make "Watch Your Death" work? I can't get it to work for the life of me.

What's not working for you? It can act a bit strange for me, in that when I die I have to quickly revive or it'll bug out. And sometimes I transform into Micheal after reviving myself. So yeah it isn't perfect but it does "work" mostly as it should. I can still watch my death and the aftermath.

At the time of posting, it wasn't loading. But I figured that out. I probably won't be using it though because of the bugs you listed out. Kinda defeats the whole purpose if I have to still respawn myself quickly before I turn into Michael. Hopefully the plugin gets updated. Thanks, anyways.

How does the accuracy for peds work exactly? Seemingly every time a ped pulls a gun, they hit 100% of the shots from any distance. With the accuracy set to 5 this still happens.
