An issue has been identified with the latest build of GTA V and LML. A new build will fix this in the future. The issue is caused by a change in GTA V's DRM/anti-tamper.


In the meantime, as a workaround starting the game with RPH will allow LML to work. You could also launch RPH when GTA V is at the mode selection screen, waiting for RPH to load, then selecting Story Mode.

The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

Update; still nothing. IT IS a flaw with LML. I literally have just a clean gta with all the usual ASI stuff: heap adjuster, packfile limit adjuster, latest scripthook and scripthook V dot net,  siren setting adjuster, weapons limit adjuster. With just those installed, my game runs. The second I paste LML into my game folder and I try to run GTA, my game crashes on loading. WHAT ELSE DO YOU THINK IS CAUSING IT? I have eyes and brain, I know what I see, I know what I used to see and what used to happen. LML is broken at the moment, it's a fact.

    Same issues, runs then shuts rockstar launcher says game failed to run. No uninstaller so need to find all the files manually

    LML Is running just fine for me and everyone else i have helped install it, i certainly do not think anything is wrong with it.

    I really hope he updates the mod. This is the best mod ever. Damn, I'm even willing to pay. I don't think the creator knows how many people want to play with this mod.

    I doubt it. The last update was in 2024. It's already been a year and no update in sight. FiveM mods works fine. It's the DLC files that are not loading up at all

    My problem is that the mod stopped working a few minutes after I posted it, and if we say I install the mod, it causes other mods and even the mod itself to not work even though they are loaded.

    It Works! . Had "Game out of memory" on startup. That method fixed it for me

    For me, it works without @ReelOnline245's workaround, as long as I don't load too much via the LML (for example, depending on the mods used, a maximum of 12 vehicles).

    However, if I use the versions.dll from the Lennys Simple Trainer mod for RDR2, as described by @ReelOnline245, then LML doesn't load at all.

    Does anyone have any idea how I can get this to work properly?

    I hope this gets fixed soon. LML is essential for mods if you don't want to reinstall everything after a GTA update.
