An issue has been identified with the latest build of GTA V and LML. A new build will fix this in the future. The issue is caused by a change in GTA V's DRM/anti-tamper.


In the meantime, as a workaround starting the game with RPH will allow LML to work. You could also launch RPH when GTA V is at the mode selection screen, waiting for RPH to load, then selecting Story Mode.

The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

Symantec keeps flagging this as a Heuristic Virus for me maybe your antivirus is flagging it as well.. I have never had Norton flag any mods from this site before so maybe I will wait on this one..?

    I will see if I can make it look less suspicious to anti virus software in the next version. The file itself is clean and there is nothing to worry about.

    My game keeps crashing if I load cars included in a DLC (multiple cars in the same DLC).

     

    It works for me only if the cars are being put separately one by one, thus I have to manually edit data files  to extract data sets (vehicles.meta handling.meta etc) for each vehicle and it's so unconvenient.

     

    It closes without any error message.

     

    And like other people Windows Defender keeps flagging ModManagerUI.exe as a Trojan.

    Maybe I am a Moron, but I've installed this, but I do not see the dl with mod manager on any mod on the site.. What am I missing?

    I'd be best if you create a topic in the LML support section and include the install.xml you are using to load the cars. Also please keep in mind that if you are creating your own RPFs that you will need OpenIV.asi to allow the game to load them (unless you properly re-encrypted the RPF).

    This is incompatible with scripthookvdotnet. If I remove this, it's fine. If I re-add this, shvdn just throws an System.TypeInitializationException at me and won't load anything in the scripts folder.

    Do you have a more detailed error log? The only thing I could think of would be a dependency issue.

    Add an exception to windows defender (and other anti-virus if you have more) en re-download. This is a false positive.

    Yes. This happends no matter what script I have in the appropriate folder.ScriptHookVDotNet.log

    No this is seprate but it can replace open iv, I am trying to find out how to add both eup dlc to this. @LMS please correct me if I gave out incorrect information. If you download coastal callouts through LML all vehicles will be added that's needed for the plugin.

    Yes, if you download Coastal Callouts via LML all necessary game files are automatically added, you just need to download the plugin and you are good to go. If EUP is just a DLC, you can use the DLC feature in LML, it is not as convenient as having them all extracted obviously but it avoids having to modify the dlclist manually.

    The animation shown on the short video does not play when I press D-Pad right to put suspect into the back of the police cruiser is there an addon mod required for this?
