I am proud to finally present version 2.0 of my 2015 Tahoe, outfitted for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, featuring high-quality skins by @Krame86 and now templated for multiple liveries by @Thero This vehicle has been in the making for nearly two months and has been EXTENSIVELY updated and now also includes the Federal Signal Arjent as an optional lightbar. Please try out this new version if you had the previous one!

Features:

  • Multiple lightbar/extra options: Federal Signal Valor, Whelen Liberty, Federal Signal Arjent (new) and Whelen-inspired interior lightbar all in one model!
    • Extra 1: Federal Signal Valor

    • Extra 7: Interior Lightbar

  • To install, simply place all sheriff2 files in \GTA V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday9ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf.

Known bugs:

  • Pushbumper does not deform during collisions, this will be fixed soon

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

The tahoe has been almost completely rebuilt from the ground up for this update. So many things have changed that I will probably miss several, but here are the big things:

  • Vehicle has been completely remapped for multiple liveries by @Thero (template included)
  • Brand-new liveries by @Krame86
  • Added Arjent lightbar by @Lundy
  • New pushbumper (Go Rhino by I believe BxBugs123, taken from the Police Car Parts resource. Wraparound is an extra component)
  • Redone lighting setup including rear traffic advisor, all red/blue setup for lightbars, new grille and pushbumper lights, fog lights. All coronas are hidden to allow for all-blue light setup (textures included in download)
  • Center console has been redone and is now integrated and doesn't look like crap
  • Various bug fixes

Hopefully more to come!

    is it possible to send or add a clear glass template/texture for the arjent(mostly)/liberty

    other than that beautiful model like the various setups that should be include more with other models

    Amazing car. I've played with the vanilla sheriff 2 up until I downloaded this to replace it. I guess it's been so long since I've used the Sheriff2 slot I forgot how slow they are compared to the rest. I was trying to pop my hood to make sure this thing had a police interceptor in it! :P

    Happy I could help with the Multi-Livery and make the Template perfect. The car looks absolutely amazing and I'm glad I got to be a part of it to make it this way :)

    Wow, really decent replace for sheriff2 (only one I found here).

    Noticed that front bottom lights (which are between pushbumper and wheels iirc) are not attached to the body, so after damaging front part of the car, they just hang in the air and emit light. Also taillights should be a bit transparent and\or a bit darker, because they look a bit plastic and bright when turned off.

    However it's really cool vehicle to replace (but I haven't properly tested it yet), I really like overall quality and especially hands on steering wheel (they sit really perfect, that's important for FPV-players like me).

    I've tried both the Riverside texture pack and Blaine County Sheriff texture pack on this Tahoe but keep getting a messed up skin. I love this vehicle but am not sure why the texture is continuing to mess up?

    This model has a new template and most skin packs haven't updated for the new template yet like any of my skin packs.

    Yes. Just rename the files to fbi2. You will probably have to edit your carvariations.meta to enable multiple liveries.

    Hey all,

    I've been using this model for awhile and it is absolutely AWESOME! I just noticed it came with the file for all blue lights and I was looking for some instructions on how to install those if anyone could help me out I'd be much appreciated. I've read over the read me and the page and also did a search on google looking for an answer but I'm batting zero over here. :p

    In OpenIV, open up the sheriff2.ytd file that you installed and import all textures from the "blue lights" folder.

    Hi, this may be a potential bug or it may be an issue that is common amongst other people.

    I have Radiance V installed, but the lights from decently far appear as all white, and I can't contrast them between red and blue until I get real close. I installed it a few times and this is a common issue between all the lightbars.

     

    Here's a screenshot of up close, and far away.

    i had the samething you need to go to settings-grapgics and find post fx and shader and put them on high or ultra

    I might have done something wrong. The smallest bump to the front kills the lightbar..

    This is a bug with how the lights are set up on a few of the lightbars. I will hopefully have it fixed soon.
