I am proud to finally present version 2.0 of my 2015 Tahoe, outfitted for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, featuring high-quality skins by @Krame86 and now templated for multiple liveries by @Thero This vehicle has been in the making for nearly two months and has been EXTENSIVELY updated and now also includes the Federal Signal Arjent as an optional lightbar. Please try out this new version if you had the previous one!

Features:

  • Multiple lightbar/extra options: Federal Signal Valor, Whelen Liberty, Federal Signal Arjent (new) and Whelen-inspired interior lightbar all in one model!
    • Extra 1: Federal Signal Valor
    • Extra 2: Whelen Liberty
    • Extra 3: Federal Signal Arjent (NEW)
    • Extra 7: Interior Lightbar
    • Extra 11: Passenger-side spotlight
    • Extra 12: Pushbar wraparound (NEW)
  • Rear partition
  • Integrated console with laptop (NEW)
  • Panasonic Arbitrator dashcam
  • Medkit, duty bag, and weapon/storage compartment in the trunk
  • Trunk and hood issues from original model have been fixed
  • Breaking glass

Install:

  • To install, simply place all sheriff2 files in \GTA V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday9ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf.

Known bugs:

  • Pushbumper does not deform during collisions, this will be fixed soon
  • Gauges are now functional, but are not properly calibrated

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

The tahoe has been almost completely rebuilt from the ground up for this update. So many things have changed that I will probably miss several, but here are the big things:

  • Vehicle has been completely remapped for multiple liveries by @Thero (template included)
  • Brand-new liveries by @Krame86
  • Added Arjent lightbar by @Lundy
  • New pushbumper (Go Rhino by I believe BxBugs123, taken from the Police Car Parts resource. Wraparound is an extra component)
  • Redone lighting setup including rear traffic advisor, all red/blue setup for lightbars, new grille and pushbumper lights, fog lights. All coronas are hidden to allow for all-blue light setup (textures included in download)
  • Center console has been redone and is now integrated and doesn't look like crap
  • Various bug fixes

  • Bravado Gresley Mapped SAHP-Style

  • LAPD CVPI with FedSig Arjent

    Is it possible to make the back a traffic advisor with red and blues on the last leds? Other than than I love it!

    One of the earlier testing versions actually included this, but I chose to remove it. I will look into making it an extra with the next update.

    I replaced sheriff2 already with a vehicle that needed a custom car variation....  Now i don't have the original car variations text...   I'm assuming this is going to affect the vehicles lights and cause them to not work properly...     Is there anyway you could upload your car variation file so i can copy the text from it?

    Check the modified carvariations.meta and look at the bottom of your sheriff2 entry. As long as the sirensettings value is set to 1, you will be okay!

    Absolutely stellar job.

     

    Is there any chance of this being released with an all blue light setup? That Valor would look stellar with all blues.

    so im with Schecter on this one. i dont like Tahoe's because they are too big and bulky. but for the first time ever i'm gonna replace mine with this. that lighting setup is top notch! it looks great in that video. i almost can't wait to check it out. very nice job man!! i'll review once i've used it in game.

    ACES! Pure aces. This is brilliant. However going to only have to give you 4 and 7/8ths stars out of 5. Until it can have multiple liveries. All joking aside this is amazing and am very glad you have taken time out of your life to bring this to the community.

    nice tahoe... its nice to get rid of my 08........  the only problem i have..... the lights in the back glass aren't right....they don't flash where they are supposed to.

    could just be me.. but i don't have any issues with other cars/lights.....not sure if others are having that issue or not. but all in all  nice...

    Check your carvariations.meta if you have installed any other modifications. The sirensettings for this tahoe must be set to 1.

    WHAT A GREAT JOB! Just one thing to note.. it would be a little better if you had the real steel rims instead of the default GTA V rims.. But that was just a thought.. OVER ALL 5/5

    Just put it in the vehicles.rpf in your most recent patchday.

    best tahoe iv'e ever used, lights at the back window seems to be giving me issues...do I have to modify the carvariations.meta? Thanks!

    The new version fixed the issue for me.

     

     

     

    Is there anyway to make the lights brighter on the liberty? I love the white lights btw.
