BVA–Basic Vehicle Actions is a script modification that adds some simple vehicle functionality, including persistent braking lights, the ability to toggle the engine state, indicators, and parking mode. It also allows custom vehicle exit styles to better suit the user's gameplay.

 

DESCRIPTION
− BVA provides several simple vehicle features.
− You can toggle a parking mode (to save your vehicle), toggle a vehicle’s engine state, and use indicators, among other things.
− BVA allows for persistent braking lights whenever a vehicle is stopped.
− BVA also allows the user to choose an exit style (from 3 available) for both short and long presses of the vehicle exit button.
− BVA includes a seatbelt feature and the ability to shuffle vehicle seats.
− BVA includes custom sounds for added immersion.

 

NOTES
− Consult the FEATURE INFO file to learn more about BVA and its features.
− The parking mode feature is disabled by default, as it may cause issues when using a controller.
− You may enable the feature in the BVA.ini file.

 

INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place the .asi and .ini files provided in the download inside your main GTAV game directory.
− 2. Modify the .ini file as you see fit.
− 3. Start your game.

    Same. Hazardlights are not working for me, I even tried binding the key to others, but they are simply not working right now.

    I really like this mod and it's a must-have for me! It appears to be very stable and I love the little click-noise when you turn on the inidicators! Overall I am really happy with this mod and I hope the development will continue to add more features.

    Some features I would like to see in future versions:

    • working hazardlights (duh!)
    • engine off by default (option to have the engine in off-state when you first enter a vehicle)
    • audio feedback for active indicators (clicking noise of the indicator relais while on)
    • improved automatic indicator-toggle (turning off the indicator automatically when turn is complete. I believe MoreControlV does that a lot better)
    • manual toggle of all vehicle lighting (including normal lights, high-beams, interior lights. Seperate key-binding for each)

    Count me in with this issue.  Hazard lights work fine for me however, without any lag either.

    I'd love to use this mod but my asi loader fails to load the asi, according to the log. Here is what it says:

    "ASI: Loading "G:\Programme\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\BVA.asi"
         "BVA.asi" failed to load"

     

    Why is that? My asi Loader is up to date.

    @Lt.Caine I've been using More Control V by LukeD and this seems to do a few of the things that it does. I'm wondering if I should switch to this, because More Control V has some weird glitches at times with random vehicle exiting. Could you add a feature to BVA to make a double tap of the vehicle exit key leave the door open, instead of there being only the short and long press options?

    It would be cool to add seatbelt ability to prevent player from being dragged out or accidently jump out from the car. Just an idea :)

    I'm having an issue where I am not able to re-enter my vehicle on occasion. My character will instead approach near-by traffic and or just stand at driver door without opening (even with multiple key-press). I love this mod so I'm hoping there is an easy fix?

    Alright, I have a suggestion @Lt.Caine. Would it be possible to implement a feature where, if you have ELS installed and are in the blackout mode, the automatic break lights wont turn on? :)

    This mod is one of my favorites for sure.  Thanks Lt.Caine for making it.  I am wondering if there is a way to control the turn signals from my xbox controller.  I tried in the .ini file but no luck yet.  Thanks
