Yeah, pressing 'e' to ask a person to step out will crash the game. Known bug :)

How often does that crash occur?

The freval error was fixed for some users by doing this: Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this by default: Now, add to the bottom of that part PreloadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:

If they're too high poly, the game will crash (if they're too big).

You should have one yourself, the one you made previous to install the car mods because they tell you that everywhere :)

Remove the car mods and try again. Also, why are you screaming?

Posting pictures would help a potential texturer a lot, even a model for which car you need it made for.

Try to delete your save files. The save files are located in 2 different places. X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames X:Users%username%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames Note: The AppData-folder is usually hidden, make sure that you can see hidden files. Note 2: “X” is the drive where you have installed GTA IV, and %username% is replaced by your username

Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
