  1. TrafficFlow spawns random police, EMS and firetrucks around the city. They're not a part of LCPDFR. So I am not sure what the LCPDFR dev team should 'fix' with that seperate script? ( I am aware that Sam made it, but it is a standalone script from LCPDFR).
  2. AI cops do pull vehicles over, and perform other policing duties. Are you using any other mods, like TrafficFlow?
  3. I wouldn't recommend you to use ELS if you do not want to crash.
  4. Great, good luck with that :)
  5. I'd recommend OpenIV instead, not sure about SparkIV. If the game does work fine without mods, install them one by one to find out which one crashes :)
  6. LCPDFR is only supported on a unmodded copy of the game. Does the game work without any mods, except LCPDFR 1.0? You can open the files with OpenIV and view the poly count there. The vanilla cars have a small file-size, so compare to them.
  7. ... and you can't just "turn off plane signals".
  8. Thanks for that information! I had no idea :) I do believe that memory flood will happen, if a part is added, removed, added, removed and so on several times in a row. That will quickly cause instability, atleast in my experience. If you're not using ELS, you will see less crashes. If you do, there will most likely be a increase.
  9. Hello, and welcome to the forum :) Are you using a legal copy of the game? Latest patch? What other mods are you using?
  10. Yup, application doesn't work at all. It just link back to this topic.
  11. Nice work! :D Let us know how all this works out. Would be really exciting having a real-life officer on the forums!
  12. Haha, I try to help where I can :)
  13. If you're using ELS chances are that the AI will bug out sometimes.
  14. Go to the PoliceHelper ini and edit the appropiate settings. @kshark: That's not really relevant either, as they still build on the same principle: Reload the extras, reset the car, be invincible, flood GTA IVs already leaking memory.
  15. No, it's /
  16. No, you press the divide key on your keyboard to toggle between lightning modes.
  17. You can do that exact thing with the LCPDFR lightning modes.
  18. I'm not sure what you mean. But, if you enjoy your doors flapping around, the fact that you can't die, and that your cars are invincible. Be my guest!
  19. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the vanilla lightning system, as it looks very realistic in the world of GTA IV, and may I say; The real world too.
  20. Again, it's not a bug. Secondly, I do not use ELS as it causes way too many crashes. I only use vanilla cars, or low-poly cars (such as GTA V PD cars).
  21. + They will crash LCPDFR 1.0 as they aren't compatible. WorldEvents should be disabled when using LCPDFR 1.0.
  22. No, you would crash because ELS is constantly reloading parts and making GTA IVs memory flood with reloads. If you use ELS with non-ELS cars, the lightbar will just reload itself, hence showing the inner workings of ELS. TL;DR. No, it won't work.
  23. You can disable ELS in the ELS.ini file. And by awesome lights, you of course mean the vanilla lights, correct?
