  1. It'll work on all 2006 Chargers that use that standard template.
  2. It really depends on what you mean by putting in new cops. Are you asking about installing new cops that someone released or are you thinking along the lines of making new cops yourself?
  3. idk how many he made but a few models off the top of my head.. 2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 Umarked here: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1197 FORD CROWN VIC CANINE UNIT NHP v6.7-ELShere: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=797
  4. I know some of Bugz models have the spotlight that will turn on with the take down lights. Just FYI, Sniper296 was working on a working spotlight script
  5. That model is Bxbugs123 (one of his earlier models) with a simple black texture. As far as your other requests, what I tend to do is look for the particular model to use as a base that has the right lightbar, rims, whatever. Then you can add the textures (could be wrong but didn't someone release a PBSO texture pack?) to that model and there you go. If you wanted a LVMPD slicktop just find the right slicktop model you want to use and export a texture from one of the several LVMPD units that have been released and then replace all of the slicktop textures with your exported LVMPD textures. That's what I'd do.... Scyattica had made some textures but idk if he ever released them you could try to pm him. Also these will work
  6. Honestly I think you'll have to merge a few different ones to get the perfect look that you like. I loved using ENB, especially the lights, (didn't care for iCEenhancer like watching a 70's show ) but grew tired of how everything looked overly shiny. I know Neolux released a version for 1.0.7.0 that might be a good place to start and then start looking at the big names in the ENB world and start testing. Some authors tend to release darker ENB versions then others. I wish I could be more help but I just decided to get rid of ENB and go with a simpler graphics look/fps bump.
  7. A little birdy told me that the Caprice is being converted right now for GTA IV....... :D
  8. I believe that's a SUSE file and I think you'll need to move the positioning in GIMS and re-export
  9. My plain clothes models will be a slightly different Detective model (with new heads) and I want to do a Task Force Officer model that will consist of plain clothes with the raid/assault vest probably with ball cap and kevlar helmet options (sort of like what CODMW2 had with the large Police/Agent/Sheriff patches). As far as my other models I will release a motorcycle officer and a K-9 officer as well as a State Trooper model (which will probably look a lot like this model). This will keep me quite busy for awhile, summer is quickly approaching so less time inside (which will slow progress), but I'll keep working on these models until they're done or someone releases something better. I'm also toying with the idea of modeling some new heads (but I don't know if I have time enough to be that adventurous). Right now you're limited to original model heads or other free 3d models heads which can be converted for GTA IV. More heads/faces though would help a lot with creating a more diverse/immersive game environment. Time will tell...
  10. So I've been working on a lot of my many ped projects. Each one has components that will be used in other projects (ie; heads, textures, etc), so it's been hard to focus on one project and finish, rather then work on all of them at once. This one is a Liberty County Sheriff Ped model with a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department uniform, but for those that do not like the uniform don't worry because I will be including other textures (blue, green, white, etc) to change the color of the uniform. Also I'll have 3 different styles for the short/long sleeve upper meshes (4 if you guys want me to include a model without the shoulder mic, although you could probably just delete that section of the texture to make it invisible I'll have to test). The screenshot I've included is the "cross chest" model. Another will have the shoulder mic on the shoulder and the final model will have a behind the back look. The release will also include long sleeve, jacket, rain coat, traffic vest, etc., but the short sleeve version has been the most time consuming (and is far from being done). As you can see from the screenshot below I'm still working on the textures (very important feature) so don't freak out because the colors don't blend I can assure you it will change for the final release. The model will be designed to encompass as many different sheriff department agencies as possible and not be specific to any specific one (ie; LASD), which will be accomplished through easy texture edits. Again I have to stress this is far from being done just a sneak peak and something for you guys to look forward to being released sometime in the near future. Model Overview New Head Models/Faces Improved shoulder patches NYPD badge removed replaced with six point badge (final will probably have other style badges) New improved textures Added shoulder mic Duty belt includes Gun/holster, Handcuff Pouch, OC, Double Ammo Pouch, ASP, Portable Radio, Latex Glove Pouch, Surefire Flashlight Upper/Lower models reshaped (physically fit officers) Short sleeve, Long sleeve, Jacket (include 2 textures including a high viz texture for highway/accidents, etc), Rain Coat (will also include the high viz texture as well as a standard texture), Traffic Vest models *** PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD COMMENTS ON PED MODELS YOU WANT TO SEE. I DON'T MAKE ANY PROMISES THAT I WILL ADD THEM TO MY WIP LIST BUT SOMETIMES SOMEONE WILL COME UP WITH A GREAT IDEA THAT I'VE OVERLOOKED ***

  12. The good news is a complete model (not just a texture edit) is in the works, the bad news is I do not know how long it will take until I release it
  13. Something like this?

  15. KevinDV made a FS Valor lightbar, but I don't think it ever made it onto a Crown Vic. He was talking about releasing that lightbar a few months ago since he discontinued it.
  16. Or you could just modify the settings in your els.ini file this line "FlashDelaySP = 0 // Flash speed delay for ELS lights in SP (in milliseconds) / higher is slower"

  18. You need ELS for lights to work on ELS enabled vehicle, which most vehicle modelers prefer. If you're asking I'll assume you do not. Links here:

  20. The easiest way to do it is download the "add extra police car" by ivanh on GPM (when they straighten their site out). From there you can duplicate the lines and add a police4 and after some minor specific changes add a policeb (at least that's what I did for my game), but if you're feeling ambitious you can checkout this tutorial ..... http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=420911&st=0
  21. You can use whatever you'd like. Just keep in mind you are only modifying the texture, so whatever shape the model is you're stuck with unless you model something new and rerig that mesh
  22. I know nothing of scripts, but I've wondered since AC.AMIR originally released this a few months back, whether a script would work to have the K-9 act like a K-9 and go after criminals (knock them down, etc).
  23. The majority of "vehicle modelers" don't actually model vehicles, they convert the model from another game/source. They may however model vehicle components such as the lightbar, pushbar, antennae's, etc. As Tom H stated they typically use Zmodeller ELS mapping tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CIMSm0PC1A
  24. SparkIV thread here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=384933&st=0 If you haven't tried already update the version of SparkIV you're using otherwise OpenIV is a good alternative to installing new mods
