That sucks! But yea its definitely a very cool and interesting experience. I always look forward to the day I get to do another one until the time comes that I finally get to do it myself.

Yeah Snasm is close but if you look at the U and N its still not right. I've been through tons of fonts and I can find stuff that matches 95% of the letters but I have yet to come across a font that matches every letter perfectly. It has to exist somewhere.... I and another texture artist have tried putting it into that auto detection site too with no luck. I just snapped the picture you see above the other day so maybe I could try putting that picture in. I just have to try and remember that site now...

Anyone have any idea what the name of the font is on this car? Its close to PEPSI, like the "SHERIFF" matches the pepsi font but the county name along the bottom does not. So any thoughts?

Been on 5-6 of them with different departments, police and sheriff. The most recent I saw my first DUI arrests, two of them in one night actually. First one was a stop that had started the previous night prior to my ridealong, he showed me the dashcam tape of the original incident. The deputy I was with clocked a guy speeding on a motorcylcle the previous night of my ridealong, he whipped around but wanted to wait for a better place to stop him due to there being a large bonfire party in the area. When they got close to the party he realized the guy was turning into the party, he hit his lights quick and the guy pulled into the driveway. There was a truck in the driveway stopped talking to a guy outside the truck. The motorcycle drove around the truck in a tight space but the cruiser couldn't fit through. By the time the truck was moved the guy had already jumped off the bike and took off into the woods, they couldn't find him. (In Wisconsin we have whats called "owners liability" which means that the owner would be responsible for the fleeing since he didn't report the bike as stolen or anything like that. Even though your not in possession, your still responsible.) Now, for the night of my ridealong my deputy wanted to go to the guys house to talk to him and give him these owners liability tickets, he wasn't at his home but he has a business close by. We go there, his truck is there and the rear garage door to the business is open but no one is around. We thought it sort of strange that someone would leave the door open with all the equipment in there unless they were close by. So we went down the street a ways to a parking lot where we were lucky enough to be able to see the front of the business and his truck. So if someone walked past or drove out we would be able to see. (Keep in mind there are 2 bars in the general area). We sat for about a half hour and someone walks past the business. So we pull into the street just in case its him, so he doesn't see us if he pulls out. I can just see the driveway from the passenger seat and all the sudden he pulls out in his truck. At this point the adrenaline is starting to surge because I know whats about to happen and the fact that he just came from a bar. He drives past us (were in a unmarked unit, CVPI, silver hubcaps rims, civilian plates) and doesn't have a seat belt on, perfect. We whip around, tires squealing and light him up. He pulls over, deputy makes initial contact, comes back and the guys said he had about 4-5 beers I think. We had a parking lot right next to us, so we pulled in there with our cruiser after 2 more backup units pulled up (A supervisor and a local police unit for the city we were in). They did all the sobriety tests in the parking lot, I was standing off to the side and could see he was failing the eye tests. So eventually he blew, over the limit, hooked him up, in the back of the car and off to the hospital for a blood test. Later on had a domestic, mother wanted to leave, daughter/husband wouldn't let her. Mother has a mental disorder. We run code 3 to get there, now for those of you who have run code 3 you know that nothing in the world can beat the feeling of running code 3. Its amazing.... Anyway, the deputy had been there in the past and was able to resolve the issue with no problems.

lol, thats a Toyota with some mesh and ladders welded to it, not a Bearcat or whatever the specific name of that other thing is. (I'm not trying to start an argument with you, I just thought it looked funny ) Anyway, I love the Crown Vic, its a classic and you can't beat that V8 engine sound. We have a CV and I'll intentionally step on it just to hear that once and awhile. But as others have said, the CV is slowly becoming obsolete to the new wave of cruisers. I've seen all of them in person, Caprice, Taurus, and Explorer and I can say that I like all of them and would gladly take any one of them. I think the Taurus/Explorer have slightly better styling over the Caprice though.( I'll probably get someone who will disagree with me on that though).

Oh I didn't see the spoiler with the pictures. yeah you missed the F/R bumpers and the small hood (rear engine cover) part that says Ferrari. Troy is right, you couldn't do a accurate skin until you fix that. The rims ... they are way to big! They almost go up into the wheel well and 0.1% of it is the actual tire, They need to be made much smaller or even better yet use a stock 458 wheel. Maybe some people like insanely huge wheels like that, I prefer realism so its not my taste

Why not just upload it instead of asking? Because your probably going to get mixed feedback and if some want it you'll be uploading anyway. I personally wouldn't use it because I prefer realism and well we just don't use supercars for police squads in the US. I know some people enjoy using them or throwing lightbars on them to replicate overseas police cars or show cars but I'm not one of those people. I don't know how it was templated so I can't comment on that.

Are you using default handling and vehicle.ide lines? Have you started completely from scratch, by starting a new project and reimporting all the textures and files? Your not moving any of the dummys for the wheels are you? and it only does it when the ELS is active?

surface>mapping>edit uv - click on what ever you want to change. A window will open, leave everything the way it is except under "keep old mapping" make sure that "select old mapping" is checked and "disable old mapping" is not checked - press ok. Then open the UV Mapper and adjust the mapping as needed

its the same process as installing a lightbar as TUNES said. Its not going to be as easy as importing a Whelen Justice because that imports directly into place. Grill lights your going to have to create some or use available ones and then place them where you want in the grill. Then map ELS to them. There are no tutorials because all you have to do is move stuff around. If you use Bugs XT6, the ELS is already mapped

like he said, generally if a vehicle or part is released unlocked your free to do what you wish with it. Modify it for yourself or for public distribution, as long as you credit the proper people I don't think you'd run into any issues. It might say in the readme the terms of use of the model but if someone released it unlocked you would assume they want you to modify and re-release. I can understand you wanting to just double check though, especially with all the theft lately

lol, I wouldn't have been able to tell you exactly but I sure know its not Russia . If it was from Russia I doubt you'd see the word "police" in english and I don't think it would be a Crown Vic.... Maybe he didn't even look at the picture
