yea I think it would be sort of strange to post my facebook but if people want to thats cool

I'm looking forward to getting up early that day, going out and buying it, finishing work that day, coming home and going in the basement to the entertainment room and popping that baby in the PS3. Walking into the store and seeing the game in the case and buying it is half the fun I'll probably explore the world a lot first, I have a feeling there is going to be so many things to see with all the new features and things that happen in the world. Go up by the Vinewood sign and admire the glory of the world then some missions. Still debating if I should pre-order or not.... I'm just worried about a possible sold out situation where I then have to drive all over this green earth to find it, because I'm getting that game on the release day lol

there is also one within the main COMMON>DATA folder that needs to be edited along with the others. I had this same problem but I can't remember what I had to do to fix it. I'll try and remember. I know what you mean about going into "times square", the lights look 50x better in that area, its the same thing on my game. I wish the entire world could be adjusted with the settings from that area

I agree things have things seem to have gotten a lot worse lately. Like others have said though, sometimes its hard to just let stuff go when it happens all the time. I'm not saying I'm innocent because I've been involved in my fair share of heated back and forth but were all human and if you spend any amount of time here and are involved with the community eventually its going to get to you. Plus you have a lot more people that are modding now than a year or two ago. It could be a sense of competition now and people just trying to cut each other down. That didn't exist when I started, I could release a car and it would be the only one released for days, now we have multiple cars per day. Sometimes stuff just starts by people voicing a harmless opinion about something that was in no way meant to be malicious at all but if one person takes a little offense to that, then let the flaming begin

so you think I'm snobby huh? and then you wonder why no one would give you the lightbar - or any other parts for that matter because the second you get denied that person is "snobby" or a "big headed modeler", no its because I don't know you from the next guy and I don't know what your going to do with the parts I give you, you could release them unlocked or distribute them to others. Thats why "snobby" modelers dont just give stuff out on request to anyone who asks. Some people do give stuff out to anyone and if they wan't to thats fine but I don't think its fair to cut down those who don't follow that same path As for the lightbar - looks fine. You seem to have a lot of anticipation surrounding it so in no time expect 15 x2100 cars to be uploaded weekly and slowly but surely it will lose its uniqueness and drop into the same standing as the liberty and become, "Just another x2100 CVPI, Charger, or Tahoe" to add to all the others

Of course we will be able to play games indefinitely but only offline. They meant that we will be able to continue to play offline but the servers will be shut down for online play. I can still go back and play SOCOM(RIP ONLINE) offline but I can no longer play online because the servers have been shut down.

Yea like they said, its a very very sought after lightbar and not to many people have it and those who do are not giving it out. I was lucky enough to get it at towards the beginning of my modeling career. The only way your going to get it is by either making it yourself or releasing some work and then see if someone will give it to you then but asking for it with zero modeling work released is hardly even worth it

It will be the end of GTA IV Online, yes. They won't rewrite and re-implement a new online system for a game thats as old as GTA IV. They have moved on to bigger and better things (V) and I can't see them spending the time or the money to update GTA IV to the new online system. So sadly, we have less than a year to enjoy our online patrols but as Stevo said, we knew it would come eventually, the fun can't last forever. I've had some of the best times playing online with my buddies and it will be missed but something new will come along as always and if things go right, we'll be playing LCPDFR on GTA V in a year or two.

you need to go into the INI(located in the main GTA IV directory>ELS>police.ini, police2.ini, etc) of the car you want to make halogen and change the primary light setting from leds to rota , all of this is in the user manual

You need to put it into a translator then or hope someone comes along that speaks russian. As the others have said, the skin isn't correct for the template so you either need to use skins made for that template or use the template and make them yourself
