GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 3, 0 Herp. LCPDFR doesn't support 1.0.3.0. Patch your game to 1.0.7.0.

Run as admin. If that does't work make sure you GTA IV folder is not set to read-only (search Google for advice on how to do that).

That Acer laptop comes with Intel graphics: Graphics Integrated (Intel® GMA X4500MHD Graphics with up to 1277MB Shared Memory) HAVE FUN RUNNING GTA IV on that. Closing as this isn't really an LCPDFR issue.

Are you using car modifications or a cracked version of GTA IV? If so, get rid of them.

Well it is. So live with it. And no, it's not because we 'get a thrill from teasing people'. Look at our fucking support forum. Now imagine an open beta buggy version. You can imagine those two things would not mix. Plus, it's good to reward certain members of the community the ability to playtest LCPD:FR, in return for the time and generousity they show dealing with support requests and activity on the forum.
