I don't know what ancient version you have there, but only download LCPD:FR from the official website or GPM (authorized distributor). Download the latest version from the 'Downloads' section.

We moved server. The installer tries to connect to our old server, which has since been deactivated. The new 0.95 installers have this changed. For now, don't link your account. There's no benefit right now anyway (crime stats disabled).

Xliveless makes you lose multiplayer functionality.

Use WinRAR, it just has the trial shit to try and make you buy it, but really the trial lasts forever.

You reading the support page and running the diagnostics tool would help.
