Oh no!
lol took me a minute b4 I saw the car...There is a goog handling editor about and a few you tube tutorials to go with it. Very easy to screw the handling lines up. Surprised the game even loaded tbh. I will find link a bit a later. There are individual handling lines around but I find they are centered around the cars speed and braking and the actual handling (susspension) is often not realistic at all.

Yeah I use corsair H70 and been in use now for about 7 months no problems. Only thing I did different was to instal it so its not using hot air inside the case to cool the radiator. I draw air from the outside of the case.

None of us know where you put the game . This is police online. not phychics online. Ah sorry i thought you meant.... nvm. find your GTA IV folder thats where it needs to link to. GTA FOLDER is prob on drive c in programs folder under rockstar games. All depends what OS you have. Maybe someone else can help in a clearer manner. I seem to be suffering Xmas excesses. :/

Done in about 10 minutes... classic Black and White.
he works for Creative Assembly in Horsham ... it is in the UK. Not sure but I think he worked on most of the Total war series. He was the lead guitar player in a metal band called cradle of filth and also a band called Rotted. dragon lord and Sarah Jezebel Deva....so with his music background and his computer background as well he is well suited for Audio QA. Just found out he was a tester with GT Interactive as well for a while

GTA IV on Steam
To add on Cj24 comment and give a 2nd confirmation Steam version here and all is well. No problems and LCPDFR ha no issues. One thing to note is GTA IV is a big file. nearly 15 Gigs and takes a while to download so once it has downloaded copy the file and place a back up somewhere and never touch it. Don't mod it etc. That way anything goes wrong you have a replacement and you don't have to download 15Gigs again. I also remove the GTA file that I mod and play from the steam folder as well and that way I don't have to have steam running in the background to start it.

My cousin is a QA dealing mostly with Audio and he's the same way about NDA. Makes him paranoid but with good reason. Like you said there are a couple of hundred thousand reasons to be cautious. That's at the extreme but at a more realisic level loosing your job is a very real danger.

Why does harem anime girls have larges breasts?
Because the animators are mostly male. Could also be that large breasts are rare in the far east as most woman are small petite. But mostly it comes down to, Why not. A bit like asking why there are no ugly woman in these things. On a personal note I prefer well formed to size anyday. Am I really posting in this thread :p

Tips Or Tricks on How to make GTA Run Better?
Not sure if it's changed but I tried doing that with GTA IV quite while ago as I also wanted to mess with affinity setting. At the time though for some reason it wouldn't let me on this particular game.

Totalled my car, what now? Very few info on this matter...
Call back up on foot to get an officer to bring a new car to your location, or go to a police station and grab another out of car park. or Use the ingame devs console as said. But prob' long term most use to you and most practical is to use SNT (simple naitive trainer) amoung many other neat things it lets you repair your car, or clean it. or spawn another of any type. You will have to disable the key bindings in SNT though and use the in game menu as the key bindings conflict with just about everything and anything.

LCPDFR Same 911 calls.
It can seem like that at first. Domestic call is most common and you will get that a lot. Mugging calls bug a lot of the time when you accept and nothing happens. Its a known issue and devs are aware. Give it time and be patient. Eventually you will find you get a range of calls and sometimes the mugging will work. same with drugs bust. Move around the map. You will get Suicide calls shootouts etc etc. And they won't seem to all be in the same place if you patrol all of the islands. If you are getting impatient try pressing F11 as that forces a new call which you can accept or decline ad then press F11 again. I advice not abusing the F11 too much though as it ruins the gameplay and becomes a one call after the other all of which you pick and choose which becomes old quick and you miss out on the flow of the game which like real police work changes. Sometimes it as slow as hell and seems no one is breaking the law, other times I get good callouts and every other car seems to be jumping a red light or doing something wrong. Better to put up with the system and use F11 only now and then to add a feal of realism. F11 at the moment though is a good tool the devs gave us to overcome some of the current limitations. Eventually (by final release anyway) it will be removed I am led to believe.. EDIT: I made an error it's ALT+ F11 Not just F11

Same ROG board and cpu as jacob here. But I run my CPU at 3Ghz and have x3 2 Gig ram Also different GFX card. I run most things on max Except I dont bother having water on high its at med. And night shaddows I sometimes have on sometimes not. Don't seem to matter if they are on MAX or Med performance wise. The game also says I have run out of Vram if I have night shaddows on and water at MAX but I aint bothered about water tbh. As for ENB I have a Several different game folders one with ENB and tbh It looks nice, but I prefer to get another 20 FPS and play it without 90% of the time. (personal choice) My FPS hover around 50fps but now and then I still get a small stutter at times but I put that down to my GFX card don't really like playing at the low res I am forced to play at due to the restriction of my crap monitor : 1280 x 1024 :p (Was due to upgrade it after I buit the pc last summer but ran out of cash :( In hindsight wish I had brought x3 4Gig of ram as Jacob did but I'm happy. tbh I don't think GTA IV will ever run as well as it should. It's just not made as well as it could of been no matter what rig you have.

Addition to Car Accidents
You allready can call in EMS back up and Fire control. Alt+M Alt+F and F12 will bring all those 3. Ambulance will attend victims, (sort off). Firemen will aim water jet at fire, (normally catching fire themselves). As for police AI doing traffic control I think there lies the issue. If possible, diverterting traffic could just cause mayhem when AI cars are going backwards and forwards hitting things trying to find a path in the game that is not obstructed. Only thing you can really do is get them to come to a standstill which normally happens when an accident happens in GTAIV when a lot of emergency vehicles are parker up etc anyway.

Investigating reports of shots fired
Yep indeed, taken in the early days before I got it sorted. Nasty bug but the treatment was a sucess.

First Three Episodes of my Series
"If anyone could give me tips on how to drive better, it would be much ablidged!" Well the obvious one is hard braking before a corner then execute a corner using no braking at all. Most people take corners at 60 mph then wonder why they are wrapped around a telegraph pole. Or another method is hard braking to reduce speed somewhat then a tap of the handbrake to powerslide a corner (very hard in some cars) With rear wheel drive cars don't hammer the accelerator after a corner until you are once again in a reasonably straight line. This will cause a spin. Front wheel drive can have the opposite effect of helping you to pull out of a corner with power. Fast tapping of left or right when cornering instead of holding the key down can give more control in corners. This can also be used when changing lanes or getting through traffic at high speeds as it gives more control. Most important though is just practice practice and practice. and finally there is always a handling mod, as the handling in GTA IV is not all that realistic. EDIT: I made those comments before actually watching you drive. I think you may be beyond hope lol. I think you killed or seriously injured at least 3 people in the first couple of minutes of driving. I was p!$$ing myself but prob' not for the reasons you wanted :) Sorry, just teasing. Only thing thats gonna make you improve Is practice like i said. Seriously though joking aside I think you might benefit from a handling mod. Some of the cars seem to have very soft bouncy suspension and seem to spin a lot. You also seem to oversteer a lot. Drive about ptetending you have a trailer hitched to the car and are towing a 20 ft trailer and you need to get that around corners too :) reason is you seem to turn way too early when aproaching some corners. Especially at the begining. Anyway entertaining vids ;) +1

Num 1 / 4 / 6 not working ? :(
Also the FBI character has a lot less voice samples than the other cops. Try another cop just to make sure. I use FBI quite often as I can pull people over without hearing any voice command. So in effect it looks like the person is responding and pulling over just beacause of my lights :) That could be what your experiencing. Like i said try a traffic cop or state trooper or something and see what happens Also it's 1 4 and 7 :) And what Sharp command posted is very valid. That key will disable / enable all the the number pad.

Longer Response for calls
Why did I not think of this before, of course. There is no real reason why you need to hit accept right away. Unless you need the sat nav to get there of course. Most times I don't respond to the calls that are on other Islands or a long way off but now I may answer the shootouts, but like you suggest get nearer before accepting. Good tip ! @ pullover77 if your trying to make a response vid then as as suggested either use trainer to move yourself across the map or if you get a call a few blocks away drive to the other end of the map and then hit accept. GL with your response vid. Other than that to get varied calls my only advice is dont patrol one area. Of course a lot of people enjoy patrolling one area for realism.

Texas DPS Traffic Stop
As a Brit I can say I can't think of any other US cop I would find more intimidating than a Texas cop :) Maybe it has something to do with how they are portrayed on TV or something cause obviously I have no experience or personnal knowledge. Or maybe it's the hat :p Uniform looks cool btw. At least the back does anyway :)

Taxi Problem
Glad you fixed it. Either Traffic flow or Traffic load are the 2 taxi fixes I would recommend. There are others as well but I don't find they are as good a product as either of those 2

Gta iv crashes when going on duty please help!
A bit off topic but since the OP asked. Depends what your FPS are like now. Normally with ENB you can expect it to cut at least 20fps from what you normally get. So it's all a matter of choice of what your willing to put up with. I run GTAIV on Pretty much Max settings now with anywhere between 56 and 30 FPS. Depends on weather and other factors but normally it stays around 50 FPS. With ENB I can make it look sick and it hovers around 30FPS. After months of playing I prefer the smoother play without ENB. If you want totry ENB to see how your PC copes download it and just install the .dll file from ENB. This will give you some effects like ultra reflections and give you an idea of how your PC will cope. To revert back all you need do is remove that file and......(note: installing that file and running the game will make ENB write it's own default .ini file) remove the newly generated .ini file as well. tbh if you forget and leave the .ini behind it wont cause any issues anyway. I just like to be tidy :) Oh and if your going to upgrade, Ram is pretty cheap. Try and get 6GB instead of 3GB. For the extra cash it's a worthwhile upgrade.

How can i make the game run better?
Don't use car mods. Turn off all shadows, certainly no night shadows. Turn vehicle density down to 10% or even lower if you have to. Keep view distance low as well. Lower your texture setting and may as well have water quality as low as it will go as well. You could try a 3rd party software to disable all uneeded background stuff as well like gamebooster3 but I don't think that will help much in this case. Other than that I don't know.
