The error about overclocking and pressing F2 to set defaults. The main issue was though that even after doing that and resetting no OS could be found on my HD. The battery Idea makes a lot of sense and think I will take it as a warning and replace. The reason no OS could be found I guess is cause the bios sets up the raid as well. I am scrapping my raid set up anyway soon as I never really saw any noticible benefit in performance. So glad this is an issue others have come accross. I was starting to think all sorts of paranoid reasons even to the point where I might have picked up some virus or malware :p. Icon' your comment about power surge protecter has just reminded me. I have one in a box somewhere but when I moved house I never set it up again. Not much good sitting in a box, I will find it and use it :) Also the only setting i noticed that changed was the raid config. As to times thats hard to tell as in the end i removed the battery to reset my cmos in an attempt to boot up :) Thx for the replies it has put my mind at rest.

Oh ! It was indeed Yakadafi's model I tried out a few weeks ago. Yakadafi's models are awesome it was just that one thing I found it hard to live with. No idea if it's relevant to your problem but I do know the police computer can be very sensative to resolution changes in game. Using the ENB rescaling option to give an AA effect screws with it and changeing res after games starts has same effect. The problems can be not being able to select anything or close the computer. Just throwing it in here in case you are using some sort of resolution changing effect. Also I am no genius when it comes to reading diagnostic reports but are you useing Xlive and Dsound together ? Edit: nvm I don't think you are, told you I was useless reading Diagnostics :)

Nice skin. I like the model too, tried it a few weeks ago but gave up on using it, I found when using ELS the rear light cluster was really distracting. Yeah I am prob the only one that thinks that I know, but it was doing my head in which is a shame as it's a nice model. There was just too much uneeded flashing of whole rear cluster for me. Great skin though none the less.

OK I am freaking out a bit here. This morning All seemed fine. Then I logged out and powered my PC down as I normally would. About an hour later I turned on PC and it just would not boot up. I have not changed anything since last use. All I did was check this forum, made a reply to a post and to the gallery. Checked my emails and that was it. I spent the best part of the morning trying to work out what was wrong. I was getting to the point where I thought a re'install of OS was my only option as my PC could not find an OS that it could load on my HD. In the end I found the error. My OS is on a raid set up. Looking through the Bios I noticed that in storage config SATA was configured for just IDE and not set as RAID as it should be. I set it to raid restarted system and all was well again. My question is how the F***k is that possible ??? I haven't even looked in my bios setting in months let alone change anything. It's got me worried. No one else has access to this particular PC. No one can even turn it on unless they know what I know. I can't figure out a rational explaination.

I'm not aware of anything set up but obviously running a site like this does cost someone real money. Unless someone knows of a system in place the only people who can advise are the devs. Also no matter what anyone says to you in a private message or anything like that untill official I would advise not sending anything to anyone untill Sam or Jay or a Moderator speaks on the matter. ;) Good idea though. couple off possible reasons. First: Game will sometimes refuse to load if you have saved your game at a safehouse while on duty dressed as an officer. Or if you modded a car useing a slot that a car saved in a parking space at your safehouse uses. Also the smallest error, just one didgit out on a handling line will cause game not to start. You said you had changed handling lines. Try reverting handling file back to default then change one line at a time. If you do several in one go makes it hard to find out what line is causing errors. My money is on the handling lines.

Didn't watch the vid as I'm not on my PC, but Alt + K in LCPDFR whilst on foot (not in car) clears the streets of everyone whom your officer is facing. Along with a speech line along the lines of "clear the area" or something.

imo you don't need to be excused by anyone on this forum. Modertaing is a thankless task and nobody is perfect. Especially around Xmas when everyone is stressed. @ around 0.40 in the lawers office / police station there is a logo and writeing on the door. How who what where when ? Also wheather you intended it or not it has a nice sarcastic element to it.
