  2. lol no. I'm not a tester, so I only have access to the same LCPDFR version as you do :) And I think NBVids is the only place authorised to upload vids of version in test phase anyway. Edit: To answer post below. Done a while ago. not happy with it. Had taxi bug issues at the time as well as graphic issues. working on something new but its taking forever :P I might do a few new short vids in the meantime though to fill out my channel :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnn4aYPt1EA&context=C3e85bd7ADOEgsToPDskJIFEwCMBG2I-lmYTJJW6uF"]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnn4aYPt1EA&context=C3e85bd7ADOEgsToPDskJIFEwCMBG2I-lmYTJJW6uF
  3. NB Videos, of which there are many, are the work of one of the community team at LCPDFR.COM. I will let him name himself allthough it's not that hard to work out who :) He has for for a long time posted "preview" vids. In those vids you will see him using the nightly builds the testers get and as such by watching you get an idea of what is being tested and how far along the devs are witht the work. If you click on his channel you can watch all the other Preview issues as well. As for when will .95RC2 be released it's never helpfull or constructive imo to speculate. The devs will give us a date when they feel their product has reached a stage when they can release that particular version. All it does is put pressure on people allready overworked. However Sam himself has said in a New year post that the wait for RC2 is nearly over. Take from that what you will. Could be next week or next month. Or they could have run into unforseen issues since then and it could be 6 months. Though I don't think so :) We all have to be patient.I too would love to be able to play RC2 but am more than happy to wait till it's been polished to the devs satisfaction. In the meantime we are lucky enough to have RC1 :)
  4. My bad, I appologise. My collection of National Geographic is missing editions from L to R. So my knowledge of anything from Leopards to Rhinos is subject to extreme errors. I will google first in future before making sweeping statements about cultures I know little about.
  5. Any ICE, ENB or other graphic mod that works with GTAIV patched to the latest patch will work with LCPDFR.
  6. Yep I think thats right so you have to use imported models. There are models made with templates of the stock police cars but if your importing anyway then might as well use the non els low poly cars Sam made. You get a CVPI and Charger then. If it grows beyond planning stage I would be happy to take part. I installed the WTC mod once just to see what It was like. From the thread the devs seemed to be very respectfull and doing it for the right reasons but I uninstalled it when I walked into the lobby and peds were falling from the first floor. Not an ideal scene. It should never have been released with that bug imo.
  7. Says the Penguin with an automatic rifle on his back and enough ammo to take out a small town.

  9. Christmas....People on holiday, office partys, oh carp ! We have a magazine to publish ! Don't worry, pull out some 2010 issues, reword them, mix em up a bit,.... profit :)
  10. Also Just so you know in future... Sending PM's to people telling them you made a post and asking them to read it is concidered spam.
  11. Fans of Pingu (thats me) be warned, You may never see Pingu in the same light again. Also No GTA content whatsoever... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToCq_c3wOM8 May not be GTA related but I thought it was worth watching :p
  12. Just goes to show, I think there is a lot more to smooth game play than just FPS. Of course FPS is vital but I get twice the FPS than NB but his game play (from you tube anyway) seems a smoother experience. I think this has a lot to do with the resolution your card is rendering at. Twice the fps but willing to bet he is rendering at a far higher quality than my 1280 x1024.
  13. Might be bigfoot though :p
  14. Anywhere from 30-56 fps. For some reason it tops out at 56fps but depending on what is going on / weather /time of day can drop as low as 30. Everything on max with the exception of water (med) and night shadows (off) I have a GTAIV folder with ENB that I sometimes use that hovers at an avg of 30fps. I don't use it much. i7 930 @ 3Ghz ROG Rampage III Extreme 6 GB Ram HD 5870 1GB And some messed up hard drives that need sorting out Should note having to render everything at 1280 x 1024 as having to use my old monitor and no new one on the horizon any time ever :)
  15. I can hardly watch, Jay will come across this guy and there will be blood everywhere ! Follow Iconography's advice and then post in the support section for your own good :) People want to help you. But your not helping them do that. If you gone about things the right way people would be disecting your diagnostic report by now which they don't have cause you haven't posted it. I refer you to what Iconography suggested again.
  16. lol best ratman proof I have seem to date.
  17. I always like commentary vids. Especially Vids that begin "eh up". Different people have different styles, No 2 are ever the same. Shame my desktop mic just don't seem to have the volume when used with GTA IV. Works fine in TS just not Commenting in realtime over games.
  18. Aparna has mentioned what model it is. The skin looks like the LCPD Auxillary skin. There are a few floating around. Pretty sure you can find an LCPD police Auxillary skin with a few minutes on google. Found an NYPD skin. not that hard to change the letters NY into LC. And make the painjob black instead of dark blue as well. But tbh I would be very surprised if there isn't a CVPI LCPD Aux skin allready out there. Lol and it's for SA apparently. My bad :P Link removed

  20. Just keep these new officers away from the chief. Might be good for a sting op in a vid though. But "police" on her bum does kinda defeat the undercover aspect lol. I downloaded for research and educational reasons. Might be taking Tactical Intervention Team ( TIT ) a bit too far. Maybe Broker Undercover Tactical Team is more appropriate.
  21. Sounds really good, I dislike the clipboard too. Pity I can't see the image :( it's been removed nvm, I can see an image in the download section on this site. Downloading, thx. (and the main image is back up anyway now)

Ive tried a few and imo the best is "better city textures" It's a bit more subtle than the rest but has some nice touches. And unlike some others doesn't have pink pavements / sidewalks ;) Huge file though. at 8 GB it will take a while to download. But it's prob' not the one to go with if you want brightly painted road lines etc.
  23. http://goo.gl/QEftp Run it as administrator = Right click /run as afmin
