What mod are you referring to?
  3. I've checked about 30 times and it definitely isn't in the default ini from what I can see. What's it called so I can add it? (The "put person in boat/helicopter" key, since this response is weeks later).
  4. It's probably some form of rental car for film purposes. Normally marked police cars in NY will not have a standard issue license plate and registration sticker. Also, I found the original pictures....
  5. As Sam said, we've had quite a few people ask for more apartments actually. As I said, you can easily bypass the apartment stuff. Why would we remove a feature some people do like simply because you and your friends don't like it? Having it in there doesn't hurt those of you that don't like it, but removing it certainly would hurt those that do.
  6. See my edited quote that highlights that you get your previous inventory. Inventories are defined in the inventory.xml file. I'm not sure what "unconfigured ped" means but if you mean with no outfit, again, reread my post. You get your previous outfit with ForceDuty. To get a car type spawnandwarp modelname. No one here is trying to make a trainer, if you want a car there are ways to get one without going to the police garage.
  7. Start game F4 - type LoadPlugin "LSPD First Response" (hint: you can even press Tab to autocomplete!) Type ForceDuty Play ForceDuty will spawn you with whatever outfit and inventory you were using in your previous game. You don't even have to ForceDuty if you're using a preset character if I remember correctly.
  8. I'm not mad? I'm not even a developer, so it isn't me you're criticizing.
  9. When did you conduct a survey on how many people like the feature? Genuinely curious where you're getting that info. Also, the addition of apartments does not impact your FPS or cause random crashes. Not sure why you'd even think that. You do realize GTA Online has all of this stuff and runs exactly the same as singleplayer, right? Tons and tons of people wanting more roleplay style plugins would strongly disagree. Have you seen Computer+? It's literally paperwork simulator.
  10. You don't have to create a character. If you select preset characters in the character selection menu, you can pick a regular cop ped to play as. You don't have to spawn at the apartment, you can change the spawn location in the interaction menu, or just don't load the plugin at startup and load it manually after the game starts.

  12. If you would take the time to understand how LML works, you would understand it doesn't touch your mods folder. Any issues like you describe are user error.
  13. Well, you should really just need to follow the tutorial for the modding dlc. I just found the one where he says that and I'm not sure why he would do it that way. It will be much easier to troubleshoot if you only put your mods in there.
  14. I would recommend redoing your mods folder just because the way you had it was way wrong. You don't need to copy every single dlcpack into it, just the ones you are making changes to. You should follow Albo's tutorial again. You shouldn't need to reinstall everything so long as you just copy your MODDING dlc instead of using his empty one. Then just run the EUP installer again.
  15. It doesn't matter if you made changes in it. If your game was working after the last GTA update it probably isn't the issue, but after every GTA update you need to copy the new update.rpf to your mods folder, update dlclist.xml to include your added dlcpacks, and download a new gameconfig.xml for the latest version of the game.
  16. I would start by copying the most recent update.rpf back in there. You'll have to update dlclist.xml, install gameconfig.xml, and possibly others depending on what you modded. Sidenote: benefit of LML - no need to copy the new update.rpf every update. You can just load any data files you need to replace in update.rpf directly with LML.
  17. If someone told you to do that, it was to test to see if your mods folder was the problem. By renaming, they won't load anymore, so if the game loads, your mods folder is the problem.
  18. It's pretty moronic to rename your mods folder to "_mods" and blame LML and Coastal Callouts for your mods not loading anymore.
  19. I looked at your previous screenshot again...for one, your mods folder was called "_mods" which is why they weren't loading. Two, why in the hell do you have every single dlcpack in your mods folder? You only need the ones you're using for mods (if your using Albo's modding DLC, then you shouldn't need ANY of the default dlcpacks). For the crashing problem, if it started crashing after naming your mods folder properly, then it's because of something in there. Make sure you have the most recent version of update.rpf. Honestly, I seriously doubt anyone could narrow down the issue if you have EVERY dlc pack in your mods folder. It honestly baffles me how you blame LML for breaking your game after seeing that.
  20. LML wouldn't delete any of the mods you had installed. You did that yourself somewhere along the way. If the trainer won't work either, it sounds like you deleted dinput8.dll. Completely unrelated to LML.
  21. vfs.dll is what actually loads the stuff into the game, so removing it is essentially the same as deleting openiv.asi when you're using a mods folder. Did you have anything installed with LML? It's likely something was installed wrong causing the game to crash.
  22. You do the same with LML but without the need for any americandlc.rpf or whatever. A file with the extension .gxt2 can be loaded as a data file and will have the same effect.
  23. It goes in your root folder (where GTAV.exe is located). You need to have an asi loader for it to work (dinput.dll that is packaged with ScriptHookV generally).
  24. Considering this is for LML support, the ModManager.log and vfs.log would also be helpful.
  25. LML is completely separate from anything else you currently have installed. It is no different from "manually" installing it, LML just removes the need for rpf files for most things like vehicle models and data files. If you truly think it's "not that great" you didn't spend enough time learning how it works. It is 100% better than using a mods folder with tons of dlc.rpf files.
