  2. You can also change the key in the GTA IV controls thing in the start menu. I forget what it's called, "definition" or something. Just make it a key you don't use instead of P. But if LCPDFR doesn't start, then we need more details.
  3. Try a different car.
  4. It's weird for this to start happening out of nowhere. You could try using some sort of RAM optimizer or gamebooster type thing.
  5. This has been asked a million times before and there are a lot of things you can do to try and fix it, ranging from a command line to a complete clean up and installation of video drivers. Just Google "GTA IV missing textures" and use trial and error with the many solutions. Or you could just look around these forums. I'm sure there are plenty, including an active topic regarding the same thing:
  6. So he's saying it only happens because of newveh.img? That's not true because I don't have any added cars and none of my trees load. Like, not even a few of them, I mean NONE load. But I do use EFLC. I haven't gotten around to trying to fix the problem yet.
  7. That can be fixed by enabling "Never wanted" in Simple Native Trainer. Not sure why the LCPDFR version of never wanted makes the stars come then go, it's weird.
  8. Well before it gets closed...I've never actually done it but I heard it works if you aim and press E on both people (so both have their hands behind their head), then cuff both, then aim at one and press F10 or F9 (whichever you choose), it will work for that guy. Then aim and press F10 or F9 on the other one and it will work for that one.
  9. Read it: "This file is locked and can not be imported"
  10. Name them differently. There's police, police2, noose, polpatriot, fbi, pstockade, nstockade, police3 (EFLC), police4 (EFLC), policeb (EFLC).
  11. Go to [GTA IV Directory]/common/data then find vehicles.ide and open it with notepad. Find the vehicle you are installing and put "+Livery" without the quotes at the end of the line.
  12. I think that's just the way NB has his car set up, not a new pattern

  16. Black and white?
  17. Open up the .wtd file of the car you want to edit by selecting it then click on "Edit" on top. Find the "police_sign" that has the skin you want use and export it. Then select each other "police_sign" individually and Import that "police_sign" you just exported. Click "Save and close" then save and close the .img
  18. ELS V6 works on any of the original GTA IV and EFLC cars, you just have to add the line in ELS.ini ([ COMET ] then all the settings). However, if you added a car and called it "My car" or something, you couldn't use ELS on it. But now, according to Sam, you can. As well as boats, which weren't supported either.
  19. The question everyone has, but no one is asking because they know not to.
  20. Looks like it's just the way the creator of the mod has it set up, nothing on your end. (ELS lights are different from the brake/reverse lights)
  21. My reactions to this: (audio of the videos in the spoiler)

  23. Can you possibly give us some screenshots of the problem?
