  1. What? I don't understand this. This site doesn't support the use of pirated games. It isn't required in any way to have a pirated copy in order to mod the game - you can do it right out of the box (after getting it actually working in the first place). If you even mention that your game is pirated, you get your topic locked on this site. So I don't see how this site wouldn't exist if the game didn't get pirated.
  2. Did you look around? It only shows up on the environment in front of the way it's facing. It is facing, by default when you first turn it on in cars, to the right and up.
  3. Doesn't work on EFLC, for me at least.
  4. Boogie2988 (may be known as Francis to some) made a video about this stuff. He brings up good points.
  5. I like the way the police were in Mafia II. It was realistic, which is what the game was trying to accomplish. If you go 70 MPH through the city streets, cops are going to do something about it. You can actually pull over and just take the speeding ticket, also. If you're being chased by the cops, it wouldn't be easy to lose them in real life which is why it's so hard in the game (I actually don't remember ever being in a chase where I couldn't lose them - maybe because I always drive and act like I would in real life unless I'm in a mission). Some people don't like the realism and want something more like GTA in a game like that, but that isn't what the developers wanted to do with it.
  6. You updated every driver? Especially video card? You can always look around tomshardware.com for a solution.
  7. Did you teleport to the car in anyway? That happened to me when I was doing a traffic stop and the guy shot me through the window. I died, teleported back to my car, and that happened. It isn't really much of a problem - just spawn a new vehicle.
  8. Pretty sure it's his first time. But yeah, having those other unused voices in it would be great. There's a lot of speech in there that make the police seem more tactical ("Cover Me", "I'm going in!", etc); if only GTA IV cops were smarter (GTA V's will be :D)
  9. I think LCPDFR already has this feature. If you press ALT-K (I believe), it uses the Evacuate speech file thing and makes people exit their cars and run away.
  10. This pack has modified default police and police2. There is a black skin for both in there, but it is auxiliary and you have to install it manually. However, the skins are transparent meaning it will use the vehicle color behind the actual lettering, which you can change in game with a trainer.
  11. You search for and download that mod.
  12. But, as I've said before, I believe there will be a later release of GTA V on PC, just like GTA IV. Edit: I'm pretty sure the Los Santos in the maps above has fewer streets in it than San Andreas's Los Santos, so it will definitely be much bigger.
  13. Nah, not blown up. Just an actual serious argument about something that actually isn't just people making stuff up.
  14. Both the Bandicam and Fraps video were put in Windows Live Movie Maker (easy to use for new video editor like myself, free, and comes installed with Windows) then saved as 1080p. Edit: The only difference I notice is that the Bandicam video shows more lag than the Fraps video, which shouldn't be a problem if your game is running higher than 30 FPS while recording (mine was about 20). I don't know which was more resource intensive while I recorded that because I was just recording the same thing with both programs at the same time. Bandicam recording settings: Fraps recording settings:
  15. I'm uploading a video now comparing the two (same video recorded with both Bandicam (paid for version) and Fraps (free version)). Both set to full screen, recording at 30 FPS for the same amount of time. Bandicam file is 220 MB, Fraps file is 943 MB. I'll post it here when it's done. Edit: Actually the Bandicam file is 6 seconds longer (it ran for 35 seconds, Fraps cut off at 29 seconds). I edited the video so they are closer to the same length, though. Edit 2: Here's the video, just refresh in about 10-15 minutes. I have to leave, so I can't wait for it to finish uploading Finished faster than I expected. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukOQv5goZuI&feature=youtu.be
  16. Did you buy it and activate it? Fraps's free version cut off is 30 seconds, whereas Bandicam's is 10 minutes. I use Bandicam. The files are much much smaller. I used the Fraps free version and 30 seconds of video took up as much space as 5 minutes on Bandicam at the same quality (might be exaggerated a bit, but the Fraps file size was rather large for only 30 seconds). Edit: What do you mean professional? They record the screen the same way, so how does Fraps make it look professional?
  17. It looks like you're using the default ELS setup. You should use the one that comes with the vehicle. Just my opinion.
  18. I have a strange problem. I tried installing EFLC a second time so I could have two different games - one for actually playing and stuff and one for testing stuff or playing online. The problem is that when I try to load my normal game, it loads the TBoGT file from the second install. I didn't even have them in the folder (I created "Rockstar Games 2EFLC 2 and installed it in there). Then I moved the second install to the desktop and now it says that it can't find the game file for my savegame. Starting a new game might fix that, but then I feel I will always have this issue with 2 installations. If anybody has two installations of EFLC, could you tell me how you did it? I think the problem is because of when I updated the second installation to the most recent patch the game decided to start using the TBoGT folder from the second installation no matter which LaunchEFLC.exe I actually started. Actually, I think it has to do with the disk installation. I selected that place for it to install. However, I have tried it differently before - I installed normally with my normal EFLC on the desktop, then renamed the folder for the second one and moved the first back. That just made the second one load files from the first one.
  19. Well let's just wait and see what the next release of LCPDFR brings...I have a feeling there's a lot they aren't telling us
  20. Yeah, the picture isn't showing up on the post, but right click then click "Copy Image URL" and paste it in the URL bar thing. I don't think it's extraterrestrial. Some sort of natural thing. Nature's crazy.
  21. Pause the game, then alt-tab. Shouldn't cause any problems.
  22. Here I go again...never getting to sleep tonight, lol. This argument should clear up EVERYTHING with gay marriage in America. For the sake of argument, suppose "I" am gay and "you" are straight: According to the United States Constitution, all men are created equal (men refering to mankind - all humans - for those who might think otherwise). That means I am equal to you. If we are equals, why can't I marry the person I am in love with but you can? Shouldn't we both be able to get married to the love of our lives, regardless if this person is of the same sex or not? [Also, I'm going to change "disease" in my last post to "disorder," that seems more appropriate.]
  23. Try this after doing what DarthWound said if it still doesn't work: Open start menu, type Services, press enterScroll down to "Windows Live ID Sign-in AssistantIf it says "Start the service" on the left, click that. If it says "Restart the service," click that. That still has to be running regardless if you click Play Offline or not. It doesn't if you have the xliveless (xlive.dll) asi loader which is not recommended.
