​You realize there are over 1 million police officers in the US, right? In 2010 (Most recent, reliable statistics I could find), there were 6,613 cases of police brutality reported. Let's double that just to account for cases that have gone investigated; so roughly 13,200 That's still a minuscule amount. How can you honestly say that there is a lack of accountability in police culture? Seriously? It's not the accountability that's the issue, it's the personality of the officers, that's an issue. Example: I was a cop in the Air Force, and about to be one as a civvy. I HATE confrontation. I hate arguing with people, and I get, for lack of a better term, unsettled when I'm arguing with somebody face to face. When somebody gets in my face, I'm the kind of person that would rather just walk away and leave. I don't want to fight anybody, I don't want to pull my weapon on anybody, even though I've done both. In all honestly, people are becoming cops for the wrong reason. It's not "just a job". It's not just "a source of income". A police officer is a civil servant, not an authoritarian.

KDramaStars is the worst media site ever. They steal stories and articles from other sites. They are literally THE example of clickbait. For the past 2 months they keep running stories with "Rockstar Confirms Red Dead Redemption 2 release date". Even though nowhere in the story does it even include Rockstar confirming RDR2 is even in development.

​And THAT, right there, is why our media is so corrupt and many people refuse to watch them. Cops deserve to be held accountable by their superiors and and peers. NOT the media. The media does not pass judgement so they can stay out of it, and ONLY report the facts. A cop doing his job is definitely worth of getting the spotlight. You'll never hear about the cop that helped a lost 4 year old find their way back home. You'll never hear about the state trooper who pulled 2 elderly citizens from a wreck in the middle of a busy highway. You'll never hear about the deputy that arrested a sexual predator who never registered. Those are just as, if not more, important than the "Ms. Judy, a preschool teacher, helping teach dyslexic children to read." We are such an ignorant society and unappreciative nation. We take for granted what our Police forces do. Just like we do for the firefighters and EMTs. And really, Police misconduct looks so much worse than it is, because that's ALL that's covered. There are 20,000 cops in Sweden. There are 1.1 million cops in the US. By simple logic, there will be more undesirables in LE in the US than in Sweeden.

Would never pay to access mods. Would gladly donate if it deserved it. I agree with how Forbes describes the situation: "Valve's Paid 'Skyrim' Mods Are A Legal, Ethical And Creative Disaster". So many loopholes and hurdles to jump through just to release a $1.99 mod. Look at the fishing mod that was taken down. So many mods rely on other mods to work properly, so it will be a clusterfuck of copyright violations. Capitalism at it's finest, folks.

You had that 3rd person view. But overall the game just "felt" different from say battlefield 1942 or 2. The handling made you feel like you were playing a totally different IP and not a reskin. However, with what Illusionary just posted, I seem to be at ease. The classic features that made the Battlefront series standout are coming back it seems.

​I have a feeling it's going to be a battlefield reskin. The trailer was basically all cutscenes. No gameplay footage. Knowing EA, they'll just shove shit out and down our throats. Don't expect it to have offline and bots like the original 2 did. Look how they treated Battlefield. Totally scrapped bots and the "freeform campaign" from the first few. C'mon. It's EA. I have a feeling it's going to feel awfully similar to the BF franchise.

In a perfect world, their would have been more police on scene. Although they can't just wait and let the family tear themselves apart while waiting for backup. Clean shooting, and if anything, it's too hard to tell and too chaotic to know exactly what led to the shooting. P.S. 11/10 for the officer swinging his ASP like Louisville Slugger.

Hyped for it. I personally like the "down to earth" take on the more modern Bond films (Kind of like the Dark Knight trilogy). Although I preferred the "middle ground" that the Brosnan films took; teetering on the edge of far-fetched, but still could be plausible. I feel like they did make Craig's films too action-y and trashed the smooth-talking Bond that Connery and Brosnan portrayed. Can you actually believe that, I think it was Broccoli, wanted Hugh Jackman to play Bond but he turned it down since he didn't want to be typecast?

I don't see the connection. With porn, both actors are having sex and not paying one another for services. The director (Or company) is paying them for THEIR modeling/acting services. Just as nude photography.

I believe you and I had this debate before that ended in a stalemate. I believe Israel received a shit deal. They were FORCED on this piece of land and were immediately attacked by pretty much every country. They defended themselves and land expansion was a "spoils of war". Palestine received a "sort of independence" just at the same time Israel was created from the Palestine Mandate of the British Empire. Basically dropping 2 dogs in a cage and letting them fight. Again, a shit deal. Doesn't mean too much when you have Russia and Ukraine fighting. They're both members of the UN. Our relationship with the Saudi's has been declining ever since we stopped depending on them for oil. Neither of them have their hands tied if they wanted to attack Israel. I mean defensive as in not blitzing a country to take it over. But during those war, Israel did in fact receive supplies from the UN (Bombers, Half-tracks, light tanks,etc) when neither of their enemies had any modern military equipment. But with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Iran having a modern, respectable albeit small military force, plus the terrorist forces, it is conceivable that they could blitz Israel and overwhelm them. Unfortunately, Israel is surrounded by potential enemies. While yes a nuclear bomb is a deterrent only against total war annihilation. Potential enemies may just throw random demands out that would end up ending the war. Using nuclear weapons would only be used if one side was faced with literal complete annihilation. Once one nuke goes off, the end is near.

But they have a very small army. Advanced as it may be, they'd be up against a force 10x as big as they are. In the 50s, pretty much all of the ME declared war on Israel. They'd do it again if it weren't for fear of repercussions from the West. Israel doesn't really have an offensive army. All of their technology and military doctrine is focused on defense. To the Muslim people we bitchslapped them back from land that was there's and said "It's no longer yours". Turkey and the Saudi's would attack if there wasn't fear of sanctions or repercussions from the West. It's, in a way, similar to the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Nothing against the Jewish people but they've really done nothing in modern history. They're a peaceful people that keep getting displaced and booted out from their home (and are back again, depending on whether or not you believe biblical history). Without the UN, they'd still be scattered and displaced around Europe and the US.

If we drop Israel, we'd be starting another holocaust. In a way, I feel like Israel is getting shafted by us and the UN/NATO by being dropped into their situation, but they're fighting for survival right now. If the rest of the ME senses that we (or any other western country with power) won't support Israel, they'd declare war so fast and steamroll Israel. We don't need another 6 million Jews killed.

I don't get why people like to blame the US for this. It's pretty much the Western world's fault, if one's belief is against Israel. The US didn't create Israel, the UN created it. If anything, I applaud the US for sticking by them. Not all, but some countries that voted for an Independent Israel back in the late 40s have abandoned her like a bastard child.

Then you've obviously never read first hand accounts or stories from around the 1800s. Asians were castrated, blinded, whipped, just as blacks were for not working hard enough. Asians were raped and beat just as blacks were. Hell you didn't want to be Asian around 1941. You'd be unlawfully arrested and/or beat just because "you had slanted eyes". Yes public racism against blacks lasted longer but Asians were treated just as bad. To ignore that EVER SINGLE minority in the US has dealt with severe racism and we're ALL at one point slaves to white people, is ignorant. Now I will admit, that blacks had it last until the Civil Rights era. My point is, almost every minority has moved on and holds no grudge.
