  1. I like the idea! extreme terrorism is something well known in Liberty City :)
  2. Somebody may correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can easily edit those files. The reasoning is because the peds as I know, have an invisible model, with 2D photos places over them, to create the illusion of a 3D figure. The noose boots are most likely a completely different model, and you couldn't transfer the model textures itself over, as you'd be putting a completely different texture on something not designed for it. You'd have to make a new character from scratch.
  3. I guess my correction was overlooked. Once again, that vehicle is not a Tahoe. Please correct it so people can correctly search and download the correct skins. I almost downloaded it by accident myself.
  4. EDIT: Auction is closed, hope you didn't win. :o ... and here's why. Also, besides stating that obvious that a police cruiser is a bad vehicle to buy, the 2007 Dodge Charger in general is a horrible vehicle. Poor gas mileage, and a particularly bad design. In my state, there was several 2007 Dodge Chargers bought, but that were such a disappointment and useless sack of dirt that they were retired earlier, and not even put up for auction. Note in this unit the windshield is labeled as "Frame Rot". Literally this car had to be retired early because the frame underneath the car was rotting due to all the sand + salt on the highways and such. Trooper safety was being compromised as things would get exposed. I would not recommend a Dodge. On the brighter side, here was Unit #678 prior to its demise.
  5. To add on to Icon, I personally have a G710+ by Logitech and I love the thing. Best keyboard I've ever owned. No problems with me whatsoever. White backlit keys however. One thing though is the keyboard is certainly a bit on the louder side, which I like. The keys have a tactical sound response. The G710+ is certainly more silent than the Razor Blackwidow series however. (Cherry MX Browns vs. Blues or something) The reason I bring it up is because whenever I use voice chat in a game, I hear the same thing over and over, "Dude, your keyboard is loud". Also, I recommend buying from Amazon. The price of the G710+ was $50 cheaper on Amazon, however it may have changed. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Mechanical-Keyboard-Tactile-High-Speed/dp/B009C98NPY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393550700&sr=8-1&keywords=g710%2B
  6. Buddy, that's not a Tahoe. Look again, 3rd photo.
  7. If you make a texture on a template, it'll be able to be used on many vehicles since there are so many different models in circulation. Also, translating them over to another texture template isn't that hard, I do it a lot. But generally there are particular leading textures templates due to the vehicles associated with those textures are more common to see than others. For example, BxBug's CVPI is the most popular CVPI model available, but the DSF CVPI is also popular. But because of BxBug's model being most popular, there are the most CVPI skins made for that model. Additionally, real police cars are by far the most popular type of police models to texture for. If you'd like to appeal to minorities, that'd be nice with GTAV and GTAIV skins. But the vast majority of us use Tahoes, Impalas, Chargers, Ford Police Interceptors, European models and various other models as well. Hope that cleared that up for you! Happy texturing.

  9. I wanted it to look a little basic, I liked the Windows XP Professional background with just an open desktop. Additionally, a lot of departments will put an extremely los res image of their department badge as their background but you know, whatever works. :) Here's a quick example of a non XP laptop, but it's pretty much the same thing. and let's pray this doesn't take forever to add a spoiler. EDIT: Your offer would be a nice offer, whether or not you post your desktop here or in a PM, I'd be nice to see it. :)
  10. This one is mine, taken off the internet. It's like a realistic desktop as you'd see on a Panasonic Toughbook or whatever. A lot of times I see the cops driving around with XP desktop open because there's sometimes valuable information open in the programs. In other news, it took my five minutes to finally figure spoilers out.

  13. A little off topic, but since this conversation has transitioned to Taurus's it seems, I'll add my own two cents. It seems Ford's pushing for the future where the Taurus and Explorer (Police Interceptor Series) are their main police cars for sale (There were others you know!), and from what I've seen the Taurus is off to a bad start. A lot of departments have rejected their use for one reason or another. Our state bought a few for testing in the field, and implemented a few (My neighbor is a state trooper and he's got an unmarked one) but it's nowhere as popular as its counterpart, the explorer SUV. In my state, the state police has only been buying explorers recently (They maintain the oldest and a relatively large fleet). They love them. The 2007 chargers were a huge disappointment for the department, so they did not buy the 2012 models. The caprices were not chosen due to the oversea production issue, and the impalas, well let's be serious here, we're looking for highway patrol/ police cars. As for the vics, it's still the most common vehicle in the fleets by far, such a versatile vehicle. As of the 2014 lineup, Chevy - Tahoe/Impala/Caprice, Dodge - Charger, Ford - Police Interceptor Sedan/SUV, in my experience I'm seeing the Explorers coming out as the clear winner here. (Based on what I've been seeing in my state, both Local/State/Federal level). WARNING: OPINION: As for personal appearance and personal taste, I love the rear of the Crown Victoria. I love the front of the Ford PI Sedan (Menacing), I hate the rear of the 2012 Charger (Too flashy, looks like a typical Dodge Sports Car), and overall hate the Caprice & Impalas (Tahoe is only solid Chevy vehicle). :)
