LCPD:FR + Modded Vehicles
Updating to LCPD:FR 1.0 actually helped my game not lag as much with my modded police & fbi slots (along with other *new* vehicle slots containing about 4 police & 16 civilian vehicles). I do get the texture bug sometimes, but I think that's my MemFix file. Well, as already said, try the commandline text given by DrDetroit. Also try lowering your Graphics ingame. If still nothing, try disabling Windows Aero & other visual features, & (downloading &) starting some Boosters, I find that helps me a TON, or Removing some of the modded vehicles that you have, starting with the ones you don't usually use, ofc. (or both) Good Luck

Customizing Parked Police Vehicles
The vehicles spawned outside the PDs are random. But usually they are Police & Police2 only (being either one that spawn). I don't think any script currently exists that can specify which vehicle will spawn at the PDs. I don't really know much (anything) about scripting, so can't help you in that department.

First Person mod?
Make sure your ScriptHook is updated to the latest version. Also, while you're at it download the updated version, 1.3 (linked above my post, in Argha's post). Other than that, the mod should work fine. If it still doesn't work, maybe a clean IV install *might* help.

Auto-playing music on your profile?
oh that. Thought you meant a mute button somewhere on the LCPD:FR site/profile page of the person. That's a very good point. Well, I think all questions are answered? Lock??

Auto-playing music on your profile?
Mute button? WHERE? At the topic of whether to make it available to everyone, like said, I think it would be better if it was limited to Mods only. I think it's cool that it's Mods only, makes them seem more authoritative & important (which they, obviously, are [vital, really] ).

Auto-playing music on your profile?
This is where my awesome laptop comes in. I don't hear any sort of music when I view Yard1's profile, & Sam's profile looks just like a ordinary profile to me (not that I'm complaining about that, judging from what I've heard, it's like a blessing ). Gotta love my laptop

My Brother Is A Police Car?
lmao. I love it. So many funny comments.

Traffic stopping behind emergency cars
I just use the Lesser Overtake mod. The timing with that seems to be exactly the time It takes me to pull over someone, give reason for pull over, ask for ID, & get back to my car to check the ID.

Funny Southwest Airlines Flight Attendent
Love it, had me laughing all the way. It's pretty smart too, this way, at least people will pay attention & hopefully remember the safety tips in time of (hopefully never) need, instead of spending time doing last minute SMSes or other (useless [comparatively] ) stuff.

no GTA5 for pc wondering ?
Yes, exactly this. I guess people are getting impatient since it seems like forever than GTA:V has been out on consoles (I know it feels like that to me). Still, I know that it's going to come out for PC, question is just when.

Speeding Ticket Challenge - Super Speeders
I don't get it?!? What do people get from watching the full videos? I know it's "entertainment", but I didn't find anything funny or exciting in that short. All I see is just a bunch of grown-ups with fast cars trying to get speeding tickets & act like they are above (or should I say faster than) the law. EDIT: I did find the originally posted OP's video a bit entertaining. It had a few funny elements & it was made from a challenge that was made.

Holding onto non-handcuffed peds
Would be a nice feature. However, I don't know where else you would take them instead of your car, for which you can use Detain suspect. Still, would be a nice feature.

Adding new cars?
You cannot use SparkIV to add new cars. You have to use OpenIV for that. I came into the same problem when I wanted add new police cars to one of my GTA:IV versions. I then realized that there was no "Add" button in SparkIV, upon searching the net, I understood that SparkIV only replaces vehicles, it cannot add new vehicles, but OpenIV can do that. SparkIV gives the error about the car not being in the database is because it cannot find that car file to replace. EDIT: Added link to OpenIV site. EDIT2: To clarify, you said "we're trying to add new cars here", by which I assume you mean adding new .wtd & new .wft files (eg: 70scvpistate.wtd & 70scvpistate.wft) in the vehicles.img file, not replacing present .wtd & .wft files (eg: police.wtd & police.wft)

Building a Custom Gaming PC
There isn't really any "Global Guidelines to officially build your PC" (as far as I'm aware) You can just visit the Manufacturer's websites & compare specs (Intel, AMD, nVidia, ATi, Corsair, etc.) However, to save you time, I have 2 builds with me, among them, one of them will be my new PC:- Generally, You start with selecting what route you want to take 1st, Intel (+ nVidia) or AMD (+ ATi) :- Intel oriented PCs are more general purpose, they perform very good with games & release new drivers for new games regularly. AMD oriented PCs are more gaming purposed, they perform great with games, however (ATi) cards, although higher in performance, are more prone to graphics related "artifacts" (glitches) until the update is released, & their drivers aren't updated all that fast/regularly (it's still updated a fair amount tho). However, AMD oriented PCs are generally cheaper than Intel's (ranging from 10%-50% cheaper). I think you can do a Intel + ATi build tho, although I'm not sure if it's fully compatible & work nicely with each other (According to what I read/know, Intel works with nVidia best & AMD with ATi). With that in mind, for a Intel oriented PC, you can go with:- Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Extreme (link) CPU (Processor): Intel i7-4960X (6 Cores, 3.6GHz, cache 15MB) (link) RAM: Corsair Vengence Pro 32GB (4x 8GB) DDR3 1866MHz Kit (link) GPU (Graphics/Video card): MSI GTX 780Ti Gaming 3G (3GB Memory, 1020MHz Core Clock [1085MHz Boosted] ) (link) PSU (Power Supply Unit): Thermaltake Evo Blue 2.0 850W (link) Hard Disk: I'm not really "adept" at this, just get 1x 512GB SSD & 2x 1TB/2TB HDD. Put all games that require fast loading (Multiplayer games) on the SSD, balance on the HDDs. Case: Unless you're buying online, just take whichever is available, but be sure that it's Full Tower to give you space for the components & max. air flow space. For an AMD oriented PC:- Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z (link) CPU (Processor): AMD FX-9590 8-Core Black Edition (8 Cores, 4.7GHz) (link) RAM: 2x Kits of Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR3 1866MHz Kit (link) GPU (Graphics/Video card): SAPPHIRE HD 7990 (6GB Memory, 950MHz Core Clock [1000MHz Boosted] ) (link) PSU (Power Supply Unit): Thermaltake Toughpower 1,000W (link) Hard Disk: Same as Intel's Case: Same as Intel's Extras: Depending on the case, get about 5 Fans, that would be for, one for each side, bottom, top, front, rear, & one of the left side (i.e. side opposite the place where Motherboard is screwed to). Regarding PSU's: The ones specified are what you would generally need for the build. Personally, I just pump them up to either 1,000W or 1,500W PSUs. Mainly so I might not have to buy another PSU again if I decide to upgrade something a few years down the line. That should about cover it I think. Also, expect these builds to cost you upwards of $3,000+. But these builds should be able to run games on Max for quite a few years (I estimate about 1-2 years on Max, then maybe another 2-3 years on High, etc.), & it still should be able to run games after about 8-10 years or so. Oh, & the above ^ is why I prefer to spend $3,000+ at one time on a PC, rather than $1,000 per 1-2 years. My old PC lasted about 10 years now (around the 8th year I just did a cheap GPU switch), it cost around $2,900 (if I remember correct) when I bought it, about 13 years back, & I still use it sometimes to surf the net or as a server or to record games (which I play on my laptop). EDIT: Caution! You have just traversed a long post, please make sure all your belongings are with you & none have been lost along the way. Thank you.

Mega LAG!
This itself shows you the problem, your GPU (Graphics/Video card) is too slow compared to your CPU (Central Processor Unit). Try getting a faster one & IV will run better. However, based on your specs, I would say better buy a new PC. Try not to go with pre-made PCs (Dell, Acer, etc. Select PCs from BestBuy, eBay, Amazon, etc.). Find a computer shop that makes Custom PCs (shouldn't be hard, they should be a lot no matter wherever you live) & give them your budget, let them make a PC for you. Trust me, it's 1,000 times better & you get the MOST Bang for your Buck.

Good ways to brutally kill an old PC?
I do NOT approve of PC Abuse. Stop the abuse!!! PCs are magical, awesome thingamajigs that deserve respect for the years of fun you had on it But if you still want to, guess I can't stop you. How about you use a hammer on it? Or, you can disassemble it & see how stuff fits in (if you're interested in that), then smash each part individually using a hammer or something. You could also try hitting with the "hook" part of the hammer, instead of the flat side. Or, (if your Dad allows) hook it up behind a vehicle & drive around a closed area. Just make sure to pick up each part after & not leave a mess lying around. EDIT: Or, better yet, do what LukeD said. Or, if you aren't interested in it or such (although it's still good to know about the thing you will use in your life so much), why not just sell the PC? Either to the junkyard or to a shop, that way you could earn some bucks for a ice cream or snack or whatever.

Can't edit files
First of all, make sure your logged into a Administrative user account on Windows. Then:- Either make sure you're running Notepad (or whatever you're using to open it) in Admin mode (by right-clicking > Run as Admin), or Right-click pedgrp.dat > click "Properties" > Security Tab > click "Edit" > in the 1st box, select your current (Windows) user account > then in 2nd box, check the box "Full Control" > Apply > Ok, After doing that, click on General Tab > uncheck "Read-only" box. Now edit pedgrp.dat, & you should be able to save without any problems. If you want to revert it, follow the steps, but in the 2nd box, uncheck the box "Write", this will uncheck All boxes except "Read & Execute", "List folder contents", & "Read" (which cannot be checked/unchecked, otherwise you wouldn't be able to use the file).

no GTA5 for pc wondering ?
Exactly! People just keep spamming threads. It'll come when it'll come, & trust me, it WILL come I actually got a hint of when we can expect V to come on PC. It seems to be correct considering the previous game ports R* did (GTA:IV, etc). I won't mention it tho, firstly cos my memory is shit & I can't remember exactly when. Second, I don't want people btchn if it turns out wrong (which I don't think it will since this is "inside info").

Suspect Biting an Officer and Resisting Arrest
Very true. Makes me immediately pissed the second I see people just jump to conclusions about cops being "shit". People can be real stupid & ignorant :/

AI police pullovers
Oh! Didn't even know about those, never seen these types. All I've seen is the ambient GTA:IV ones (the bridge one mostly, I don't think I saw the museum one yet). Well, it's nice to know that LCPD:FR brings AI Pullovers too.

Looking for a good firetruck
How dare you call me not normal? It's just that some people don't like the invincible car bug in ELS & would like to have their car be damageable for realism. (Ripley's) Believe it or not, they are quite some people who don't like ELS for it (but still use it), & we are seeing ELS alternates start popping up that allow vehicle damage.

Speeding Ticket Challenge - Super Speeders

Speeding Ticket Challenge - Super Speeders
@3:33. The officer asks him why he was driving on the sidelane, his answer: It seemed like a reasonable place to pass the time. Officer: *shocked* uh... WHAT? I lol'd so hard right there! Also loved the trooper's reaction when the other guy zoomed by, "It's your lucky day!" (Adios!). EDIT: Also, FU YT!! It won't allow me to see the full 9min video because it's Racist
