Winter. Because in the Winter, I don't have to sit in my room with my laptop (with downgraded resolution btw [because during Winter I have space to put my External monitor in, during summer I move my laptop to my bedroom & can't fit the big table & have to take this small, kids size table] ) & have the AC come down on it & freeze my hands when it reaches night time Waayyyyy to the East over here, it hardly gets cold enough to snow (I think it only snowed twice in the whole history of the world here), & during Summer it gets so freakin' hot that you have to go bare chest if you want to climb a flight of stairs without sweating.

They aren't? For me both of them are the same, with the same credentials. idk how it is for new people who sign up or people who signed up after Origin was launched tho. I had an EA Account long before Origin, & when Origin launched, everything was "transferred" to my Origin account, now they're both the same (for me at least).

This ^ Site link here M2:MP is a great mod. It's currently under development. They've already got servers, player & vehicle sync up. You can also collide with other vehicles now. I haven't really updated / checked on it since quite a while now, so I expect they got more stuff now, hopefully they fixed shooting now. Give it a try, it's really fun. Once done, you can expect heavy (& light too I guess) RPs: Persistent characters & vehicles, money system (including banks), housing system, ID cards, vehicle & weapon licenses, various jobs (Police, Medic, Fuel delivery, etc.) & whatever else that can be put to make it more realistic (check out >Old School Roleplay in Server Ads section, they're working on getting all these ingame).

Welp, looks like it worked. I just reinstalled Origin & am currently downloading Dead Space. Heard a lot about Dead Space, wanted to try it since a while now, good I waited. At least get DS1 for free, lol

Guess who's jelly? Btw, WTF, 32GB RAM? How? Is it some kind of "workstation" laptop? or one of those Custom laptops I heard about? This is the first I'm hearing of so much RAM in a laptop.

It's all in the specifications! My Win 7 laptop (i7-2630QM {2.0GHz - Turbo 2.9GHz}, 6GB RAM, & GT 540 2GB up to 4GB Turbocache) runs GTA:IV LCPD:FR on 1680x1080 low settings (View & Detail dist 30, Traffic 30) , & normal GTA:IV on 1680x1080 all High settings (with View & Detail dist 30, Traffic 10 [i don't like high traffic much] ).

I'm going to spam ask you now....oops shouldn't have said that publicly But yeah, I don't believe it. YT is being a btch & not loading the videos for me, so I'm just basing this on what I read. ELS v8 might come out, but I don't think it's going to have the door glitch fixed. ELS uses extras system, & because of the hardcode in the game, the vehicle repairs itself every time a extra is added or removed (with ELS, it's many times a second). However, it may be ELS Dot Net, because if I remember correct, ELS Dot Net was being produced to have the same functions of ELS, but without the constant repairing (door glitch & indestructible vehicles bug). Just my 2 cents

That would be awesome. I'm seeing some great ideas here. When these are implemented, it'll make LCPD:FR that much more fun, interesting, & realistic. I love it

I've liked their FB page since a while now, really enjoy their FB Image posts. This was 1st time I saw one of their videos, then I saw a couple more. I think I like the FB Image posts more, I find them to be more funny Some of the videos really made me lol tho

Thanks for the long explanation, appreciate the time put in And yeah, I do agree on the RE points, every time I play RE6, I get put off by that sloppy mouse movement. Very good points for NFS too, I agree with them. Esp. that recent NFS games lack much needed graphics customization (a thing I really rely on to get my balance of good looks vs performance on my laptop). & about NFS:Rivals capped 30 FPS, that pissed off nearly everyone, I can bet on it. Personally, I couldn't check out the atrocity myself since Rivals refuses to start for me no matter what, & now I just gave up since it doesn't seem to be worth it.

Yeah, figured that, but somehow wanted to put it there anyway (don't ask me why, even I don't know why, lol). Good point on the 2nd paragraph, that would really suck. Has anyone tried it online to see if it actually slows the game down tho? I know that 'officially' LCPD:FR doesn't support MP yet (I think), but it still might be there.

I don't use a controller, but wow that sucks. But I don't really have a solution to that, unless you disable (or make it optional) LCPD:FR controller support, so then you use the Keyboard for LCPD:FR related keys. Or, if you press a combination of keys, LCPD:FR removes default GTA:IV bindings & apply it's bindings, once you're done pressing your buttons, press the combination again & default GTA:IV bindings are restored. Again, like I said, idk much about the XBox controller, & haven't used the PC one, so all this is just based on vague assumptions.

Could you specify what you mean by "copy of the game"? Have you bought the game? Sorry, but, "copy" of the game could mean anything from, I bought the game & have a "copy" of it, to, I installed a "copy" of the game I got from the net & installed a crack to make it work.

Basically just GTA:IV (MP side) & NFS:Rivals for me, those are the only games I ever had any problems with. Also, unreal, why All RE games & All NFS games since Underground? I don't find anything wrong with RE 6 & Revelations (a bit glitchy sometimes, but not that bad), & NFS MW & Hot Pursuit (2012 one) were ok. Also, loved Tomb Raider Underworld much more than this latest one, what's wrong with Underworld?

Currently, I'm using the GTA:V LCPD EVCS by Grady Featherstone over at GPM.com However, I occasionally use the Slicktop Ultimate U/S CVPI EVCS (also by Grady Featherstone over at GPM.com), but not so much recently since the light coords has to be updated for v0.2.

Well, it depends on your requirements. If you are currently getting a bit low / unsatisfactory FPS for your games (mainly modded games), & are looking to upgrade, then ok. (Which I don't think is the case since you included option 3, to just stay with current config). If you don't really need another GPU, but just want to buy one, I would say wait for the future, until your current card starts lagging behind in games. If you still want to go the new GPU route, I would say take the 780 if you can afford it. Personally I haven't used SLI yet, but I have heard about it causing problems in games sometimes. I have done a check on a Asus 780Ti DCII vs your Asus 680 DCII, the 780 gives you 1GB more Memory (total of 3GB), it has higher memory clock (7,000MHz vs 6,008MHz), but it has lower Engine clock (954MHz vs 1,137MHz. Boosted 1,020MHz vs 1,201MHz). tl;dr - Think it's better you wait until your GPU starts lagging behind in games before buying a new GPU.
