  2. This video's been going around a bit, and I figured I'd share it. It's a dashcam video that shows Billings PD Officer Grant Morrison's reaction after he had just shot and killed 38-year-old Richard Ramirez on a traffic stop in April of 2014. http://www.ijreview.com/2015/01/229959-cops-heartbroken-reaction-shoot-kill-man/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic&utm_content=conservativedaily&utm_campaign=Police
  3. Like what? Giving the senators more money? We should take the time and money away to rehabilitate criminals because we already take the time and money to rehabilitate drug addicts and alcoholics. Criminals have no less of a right to rehabilitation than anyone else on this earth. Some criminals are genuinely interested in bettering themselves and moving on, but due to the limitations of society they aren't able to.
  4. Problems with the automatic installer downloads? Your anti-virus may be detecting them as false-positives: either disable your anti-virus momentarily or use the manual installation instead. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>< First Post by Sam.
  5. What's the issue here? He effectively assisted the person on the hoseline, he effectively assisted in opening the doors and identifying hotspots/fire. Just because he's short and 'different' than the rest of the crew, doesn't mean they can't include him in operations. He might not be able to do everything an average sized firefighter does, but he can do SOMETHING. Traffic, hold c-spine, anything that he can do. Everyone has things that they aren't capable of doing or aren't comfortable with, and that is perfectly fine. There are a thousand jobs to be done on a scene, everyone is capable of doing atleast one of them. The only problem I can see of, is the fact he is not wearing breathing apparatus and being in the hot zone of the operations. Nobody should be that close to the hot zone without SCBA until the fire is fully extinguished and there is minimal smoke. Other than that, if you can be effective on scenes, do the same training as everyone else, pass the same fitness regulations, then who care's how short or tall you are. It's just uncommon but it shouldn't bar anyone from doing what they want to do. The NFPA doesn't have any height restrictions for firefighters, and even most major city fire services don't have height restrictions. It appears that this is a volunteer department, just judging by the amount of crew on scene, and most volunteer fire departments don't have height restrictions either.

  13. Not to mean to go off topic, but with the generalization that everyone says that people buy ex-police vehicles in the attempt to Personate a Peace Officer is actually more false than true in most Canadian provinces. I actually asked an RCMP how he feels when he see's someone with an ex-police vehicle, and he for sure did not say that he see's them as a 'wannabe'. He rather stated that he believes most people purchase an ex-police vehicle with good intentions. They're affordable, reliable, and a decent car. With some small mods you can make it last a good few years. He also said that most people who buy them are cab companies anyways, but the percentage of civilian owners have no wrong intentions with the vehicle. Most cases in which one was charged with Personating a Peace Officer, either it was a non-vehicle related incident or the vehicle was that of which was not an ex-police vehicle. He said in Alberta a small percentage of those incidents involve an actual ex-police car. Not saying it hasn't happened, but it very RARELY happens with an ex-police vehicle. The last incident I've heard of in AB where the crime was committed, the accused was driving a Nissan Acura. The generalization that someone purchases an ex-police vehicle with the intention to impersonate is a very poor judgement. They're good cars, cheap, reliable. May be gas guzzlers, but which would you prefer; A car that will start in -40 degrees Celsius with no issues, or your 'fuel efficient' hybrid that needs to be plugged in to be started in such weather. I can respect what Slimory is doing, and while some can question why he is doing it, what does it matter? It's none of your business. He's going through the proper steps in order to ensure he is following all regulations and laws. He has no intention of using the vehicle in any way shape or form to impersonate. It's a project car. If he was going up and down the roads at 140+ km/h with the lights going just to get to somewhere faster, I'd have a problem, but since he is respecting the laws and going through all the proper steps to ensure what he is doing is LEGAL, I can respect that. No, buying an ex-police vehicle does not automatically make someone a wannabe, and most people who purchase them are cab companies, regular everyday people, or people who just want a project car. Less than 9% I'd say are 'Police Wannabes', atleast from my experience.
  14. The animation will play and you will be automatically equipped with armour, health, pistol, shotgun, and a baton I think. There's no selection, it's just automatically applied to your character.
