An RCMP member was patrolling Highway 1 when he lost control and slid into a destination sign support. He was wearing his seatbelt and was assessed by paramedics and has been cleared back for duty as he had no injuries. He returned back to duty in a new patrol vehicle later in the day. -

In Alberta I have only had to learn French from Grade 7-9. So I guess it just all depends on the province.

French isn't required in other provinces. You do have to learn some french in certain grades (in Alberta, that is), but when you enter high school you no longer have to learn a secondary language. There are various languages spoken in Canada due to the large amount of other nationalities, but the two official languages of Canada are English and French. So no, you don't need to know French, but there are some jobs that are easier to enter provided you know French or another language (ie. RCMP).

RCMP Responded to a residence after multiple reports came in of loud yelling and what sounded to be smashing glass, and hitting against the wall suggesting a struggle. RCMP arrived shortly after the first call. They knocked on the door to get no reply and had to kick the door in and search the residence. As far as media has been told, there is lots of blood and broken objects in the house, as well as lots of damage to parts of the house. One male is in custody and one had to be transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. -

RCMP were called to a gas station late Saturday night about a vehicle who pulled in, filled up with gas and left without paying. RCMP have tracked down the suspect with the information they were given by the cashier and manager of the store. Surveillance video was viewed right away and the search for the vehicle began. RCMP ran the licence plate of the vehicle and went to the registered owners house to find the same vehicle and a matching description of the driver. Charges are to be laid. -

I'd think of it this way; if a dog charges at you intending to cause harm, are you going to sit there and let it harm you, and potentially others? I know I wouldn't. Either way something was going to be done about that dog so that emergency services could help it's owner, and it just chose to attack the officer which resulted with him shooting it.

Corporal Smith rolls up on a vehicle left unattended running for more than 30 minutes, driver nowhere to be found. Doors were unlocked, drivers side window rolled down. Luckily for the driver someone called the police before someone stole the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and the owner later contacted police to get his vehicle back. -

New LCD Monitor and some other computer stuffs. Money Clothes. And maybe some stuff to help me prepare for the zombie apocalypse... but that's for me to know, and everyone else to find out. (+alot more stuff, just lazy and don't feel like posting everything I got...)
