  1. I don't know about the whole wage payment thing for this. I can't see how it would be effective. I mean you would have to write a huge amount into the game to take into account wages in and expenditure for it to make any sense. If LMS was to implement this property to determine if the ped was booked how would anyone else benefit from it? I mean let's assume a player gets booked, that property is checked. Ok so now you have a statement which says "yes he was booked, proceed down X path in the code" What is the X path? You could reward the player, as you stated with a wage. What else could you do? Increase a fictional points system for the player's skill or rank, would be the same as the wage system pretty much. I can only see it being useful if you intend to write a new system into the game which will be updated by this. Maybe i'm interpreting it wrong. Also, not directly relevant, hence the spoiler, but you made a large point about this payment scheme, my thoughts are below.
  2. System specs? I will run a lengthy gameplay test on my pc tonight to see if there is any memory issues. It should be fine though with it hooking into the LCPDFR manager.
  3. Thank you both for your suggestions, I will have a look at those and see what can be done :) Also, to both of you, yes I did see your posts on the download thread but as I have the suggestions part already done here I prefer to deal with things here rather than there :)
  4. LukeD commented on InnermostZero's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  5. 1) Check it and get back to me, and I'm glad you didn't but just covering my ground in case :) 4) Get a screenshot of it for me next time so I can see it please? EDIT: I found the "gang fleeing" thing, that was a slip up on my behalf and was not meant to be implemented yet. Fixed for next version :) Also, fixed that warning already. Will be sorted in the next version.
  6. 1) a) Can you tell me what you were doing to achieve that? In testing I have never once seen that error. b) Also, if you decompiled my code I would prefer it if you didn't, If by chance you didn't decompile it and you happened to know that syntax, I will look into it if more people request it. 2) Glad the murder callout is working well. 3) I've yet to add more to that so don't over test it, it was more a test release of that callout just so I could see what happened with it for multiple users, giving it to the public gets me more test results than me sitting at home for 6 hours straight running the same callout. 4) What? Gang members fleeing cops is a default callout, it is nothing I have added :P No problem :) I do often make minor spelling errors when coding so if it's in a string (text to be displayed) then I likely miss it as it doesn't cause an error. So thanks for being observant.
  7. It's an apostrophe, and no I don't because It is plural. There are multiple cops in pursuit so it should be officers. Using officer's implies "officer is" :)
  8. Test everything you can, if there is bugs I must know :D I recommend using the vdh coroner mod for the murder callout btw, it makes it more fun (yes it does work I wrote the logic that way) But you can clear the scene manually with Z.
  9. Ah right ok. GUESS WHAT!?!?!?! I'm giving out an alpha release for you all to mess with, try not to break it k? k. Stay tuned in the script area of the downloads for my release thread :)
  10. I don't see any login window? I don't provide any links in my topic thread so it's probably better to speak to the dev's about that.
  11. I am doing don't worry :D I may or may not already be working on extended features that involve the player making decisions, working to a time limit etc etc. I'm also happy the script is doing well in testing so on Wednesday I MIGHT make an alpha release for you guys to toy with :P
  12. LCPDFR error log please :) Try uninstalling all of your mods and just run LCPDFR so we can determine what is crashing. The more mods you have the more likely it is to crash.
  13. You know that LCPDFR 1.0 has an ALPR built in now don't you? It's likely a conflict with that I think, judging by the freval error. Try playing without the ALPR but use the LCPDFR one, access a police computer while stationary and then you should see a button in the middle "activate ALPR" :)
  14. Yeah the manual install appears to be much more stable. Good luck with installing your other mods :)
  15. Right in that case what I would recommend doing is removing all of your mods and try to see if it works then, if it does then you can go ahead and slowly install each mod again one at a time. If it doesn't fix it come back and say so and I will have another think as to what it might be.
  16. What version of GTA IV do you have and is it a legitimate copy of the game? What mods are you running / what changes have you made to your game?
  17. For £35 you would be much better off, not buying a new graphics card. Graphics cards are not cheap and they get more expensive the better they are. For example my old graphics card was a 1GB nVidia GTX 550TI, it cost me £80 roughly. It could run GTA IV on medium settings relatively well and with LCPDFR but not with ENB. My newest graphics card is a 2GB nVidia GTX 760 SuperClocked. It cost me £200. It runs GTA IV on highest settings with ENB and LCPDFR no problem. Budget graphics cards tend to be around £60 or more for the up to date ones, the old you go the cheaper they get but the less likely they are to run games properly. If you really wanted to go gaming pc and build a rig, don't cut your costs on the graphics card. But if you are not interested in gaming all to much and only play games every so often then don't make any changes. That is the best advice I can give.
  18. Which version did you use automatic or manual? Did you also apply the 1.0a hotfix? Do you have the pre-requisites, all of the microsoft framework redists? When you did the reinstall did you ensure you removed everything from the root directory before installing again and did you test gta iv on it's own?
  19. Wow the potential in this is insane. I'm looking forward to further news about this :) Will we likely see API integration for this too? (I hope so) Also a suggestion for this, can we allow the player to be able to advise on the situation for example we may be partaking in an event with a 2 star suspect but manually feel the need to make it a 3 star, that way the play can advise control and adjust the level manually. The same would apply for downgrading a situation should it require it.
  20. Mainly in the LCPDFR one anything that says [ERROR] next to it Upload them to this post and I can take a look at them for you :)
  21. Have you looked at the error logs? These are called LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.log, AdvandecHookInit.log and ScriptHook.log. We only really need LCPDFr.log and AdvancedHook.log but I suggest having a look at the others as well just to check. Of the information you have given I can tell you now it isn't a memory issue, so it can only be a case of your mods. What I would try doing is uninstalling all of your mods and then just install LCPDFR and test how long you can play for. The more mods you install the more likely you are to crash. I would also recommend using the manual install of LCPDFR and the xlive.dll scripthook because this is more stable as it removes the need for GFWL (so if you play online use dsound) Also make sure you are running the game as an administrator.
  22. It's fine it just made me giggle that's all. I did understand what you meant by it it was just funny to read :) I never said they were I was just replying to AShadowbox who was suggesting a potential scenario of that happening (it probably never will happen but we explore all the possibilities)
  23. I think you should go back and read what you just said lol. "When same-sex marriage gets written into national law, it should in a way that protects churches from lawsuits" So basically when it becomes legally bound for churches to marry same-sex couples the law should be written to allow the churches to avoid being prosecuted for refusing to follow the law that made it legal? What? I know what you're attempting to say, but it isn't what you actually said lol :)
  24. I personally think it is a book made from paper, much like that magazine, or a news paper. At no point in my life does it ever compare the legislation written by government, it should not ever be enforced in any way and thus should have absolutely no reflection on the general thoughts of life. Basically, keep your religion to yourself, don't use it as a means to judge others. :) I wasn't making an argument against your case, I did read your comments regarding your actual stance on gay marriage and respect that as your view, I was actually bringing out a more open point about the teachings of the bible based on the parts I know of and have read being quoted here. And that point was a question really to everyone of "how do we actually know what the word of God is if it contradicts itself?" Please don't see what I said as an argument against your point as I had no intentions of making it that :) Also, if a goat could happily stand next to me in court and say "Yes I consent to this marriage" then yeah I would marry a goat. But as it stands, it cannot. (nor can it consent if it's lay down, lol I made a joke, get it? Jokes are funny :))
  25. Ok so if the bible is the word of God and you have to accept what the bible says I take you to the point which says you must love thy neighbour as thyself. And if your neighbour happens to be gay and so chooses to marry another man what do you do then? Crucify him or carry on loving him? The bible says love him but yet everyone else says crucify because the bible also says crucify homosexuality. So which is correct? So if you do happen to love thy neighbour as thyself, but you also hate homosexuality, surely you should also hate yourself too? Because if you don't also hate yourself you are not following the word of God. Just some food for thought there.
