Random Crashes
As ineseri has said below. LCPDFR doesn't support illegal versions of the game. Even if you have a legal disk copy of the game, replacing it's executable file with a cracked one is still the same as downloading a pirated copy of the game. As a result I'm going to give no further support unless that crack has been fully removed. I'm giving you benefit of the doubt here that you have a disk copy like you said.

Funny Screenshots.
Here's my "funniest" picture of GTA IV. http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/3332971171074997472/5A4C8B57020DDA6E329B1CA4D1B84C20F4A02728/ The police car was supposed to drive into the parking lot, the cop in the sabre was supposed to be driving out of it (having removed it on request) Apparently nobody taught them how to drive through the parking lot very well.

Do you think you're area would survive a zombie apocolypse?
Where I live we would definitely survive, because all zombie outbreaks seem to only happen in America :). On a less movie drama note. I don't want my area to survive an outbreak. It's full of the most miserable people in the UK and that is an official statistic done via a consensus. The UK would probably benefit if my area was destroyed by zombies. Brain eating zombies as depicted in films will never happen though. However "zombies" could actually happen. There is such a parasite that infects it's host and takes control causing the host to perform very strange actions. It's been exhibited in ants and other such insects/disgusting 8 legged creatures of death (I dislike spiders, have you noticed?) I don't think that parasite has adapted to humans though, so yeah zombies are not a thing. Sorry.

Random Crashes
And my AdvancedHook.log Does the fact that I'm using the steam EFLC.exe with a retail install have anything to do with it? I would assume it's the cause with a third-party crack, but this .exe is made by Rockstar themselves. Please note that I am not using a pirated copy. I own the DVD and a legit key that I have registered on GFWL. I just hate swapping disks in and out of my optical drive. Edit: Just realized it's the launchEFLC.exe that I replaced with the steam version, not the EFLC.exe Sorry for the very delayed response. I haven't been as active in the support forum recently due to other commitments including coding work I'm doing and IRL events. I'll try to answer as many of your questions as I can. Ok firstly the error you keep getting in LCPDFR, "object reference not set to an instance of an object" I'm unsure as to why this is happening. I can but only assume it's a code segment faulting somewhere and that the devs are probably looking into it if they haven't fixed it yet. The out of memory error you get cannot be fixed, it's just a generic thing which happens when you mod GTA IV. It won't cause any harm so you can just ignore it. Lastly if you have the steam copy of the game, why are you using a crack? Steam can launch the game without any need for a retail copy. I'm a bit confused as to what you're doing there.

More suspect reactions
Cop: "Let me see some ID" Suspect: *Punch* Seems like a pretty stupid reaction in my opinion. In the UK if the cop asks for ID it's usually after you are already in the back of their police car where the back doors have a child lock on them (prevents the door being opened from the inside) so people don't really tend to punch a cop when they are sat in the back seat with handcuffs on. The most common things you see are "I don't have any" or "I left it at home". Or they give you fake details which is a waste of time cause they pull up details over the radio anyway and then match the known visuals (tattoos scars etc) to you. To be more on topic though, some alternatives were already implemented. They either give you ID or they have an excuse for not having any. I don't really see how many more reactions could occur, perhaps be more specific and give more examples?

LCPDFR For GTA V?
Firstly no there wont. LCpdfr is for Liberty City, so it would be LSpdfr :P (I'm just playing with you lol) Seriously now though, if Rockstar use better methods to prevent the PC release from being modified then the chances an LSPDFR mod would be made are extremely slim, if at all. If the masterminds in the dev team can crack through all the security precautions and can find a way to mod it it's then down to them if they have the time to create the mod for GTA V. I too would love to see an LSPDFR mod in GTA V. But it is entirely dependant on if it's actually possible at the moment so don't get your hopes up until we know.

What do you guys think will be the next GTA city?
Well to be honest look at the previous cities they've used. Then look at the fact that Rockstar don't give any consideration to threads like this and websites which come about from rumours. So my best guess is that the next GTA city will be [insert_city_from_random_selection]. :)

I never said "it's your fault" I said either you've caused it yourself or the AI derped. I respond to a lot of support requests on the forum and a lot of them are user error rather than bugs. Explain to me how saying "you've done something wrong" is not professional? If you've fucked up I am going to point it out to you so you know what you did wrong. I merely applied the same here, like I said, either you did something wrong or the AI derped out. I was unaware of any underlying issues as statistically the chance it occurred (only for you) was so low I didn't even know it was possible to spawn in the water, and so my only possible answer was to say you may have done something wrong or the AI broke. I find it hugely disrespectful that you've come here now for the sole purpose to bitch about my response. Unlike you, I make mods for the community's enjoyment. I don't play GTA IV at all, I test my code and then that's it. I get my enjoyment out of seeing others happy and having fun using the plugin I made. So getting some appreciation back from the community is my reward if you like, it's how I get paid, because as you know I don't get a single penny for this plugin. Not one. If I got 0 appreciation and nobody liked the plugin I wouldn't release it, I wouldn't have even bothered. But as it stands, I got a lot of positive feedback from users during the time I had the WIP thread out and as a result I released the plugin. The same reason applies as to why I release the plugin with new features, people want to see more of what I can add. If you don't like the way I operate, you know where the door is. I'm not making you use my plugin. You didn't pay to have access to my plugin, and as a result I owe you absolutely no duty of care. You'll get no further reply from me on this topic.

"Could you please" is a polite proposal. "Are you kidding me?" is not polite. And in most cases is a phrase used to express disgust or disapproval of an answer. That was my issue. I've fixed it again, (I missed one of the lines off, there were 2 causing this issue) Uploading release now. Thank you.

I do not understand why you put things in brackets. That makes no sense lol. Anyway, Searching buildings would require me to map every single building and then map points for spawning inside those buildings. That will take a lot of time time so don't expect me to implement that any time soon, if at all. A scene to put the whole city on lockdown. No. You're a beat cop not the president's guard. I'm making beat cop stuff not movie drama. But thank you for the suggestion. People keep asking for the domestic. That's been suggested about a thousand times (read the suggestions list). No I can't make just highway calls. There is no way for me, using the API, to map every single highway and only do highway stuff. There is also no way easily that I can make things only spawn and then stay on the highways. As I said above, you're a beat cop not a state trooper. I appreciate people roleplay different things but it cannot be done in a way you would want. You are correct it is in the ini. It's set to J by default. If you wanted to change it you can change the hotkey itself, and you can add a modifier if you like (where it is currently set to "None") if you set both to None you disable the feature by the fact that there is no hotkey to trigger it.

No I'm not. Look at this from my perspective here. I have no immediate answer as to why the vehicle spawned in the water. Over 4,000 downloads, and only you have reported that it spawned in the water. For me to know there is a bug in the spawning I would have to get multiple reports of the same thing or an error code to show me what went wrong. Otherwise what is there to say that this isn't just a freak 1 off occurrence? You've come on to the forum and posted the reports (which I do appreciate) and I have tried to provide an answer to them for you. Hell I even straight up fixed the 2nd issue within 5 minutes and re-released. But I don't even get any appreciation for that you just pick fault with what I said. I lose motivation to work on projects like this when people have a negative attitude towards me, and if I lose too much motivation then quite frankly I delete the whole thing and say "fuck this". I'm sorry for my slight rant. I will look at introducing a catch so that you can dismiss the removal cop and the medic should you need to. But right now I'm tired. I'm going to sleep.

1) I clearly tell it not to spawn anywhere other than on a solid road where normal AI spawns. So if it's "spawning" in the water like you said, you've caused that issue yourself, or the AI has decided to drive off a bridge for some reason. I can't "fix" the spawn if it isn't faulting. 2) That issue, you may notice, is nothing to do with my actual script and the issue lies deeper in the API. However I know already what is causing it and have patched it, hotfix will be applied to the download now. Thank you for pointing it out.

[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts
Update Released! That's right, 0.4a is now officially released! Head over to the download sections to grab the update. Notes: The garages feature is in its infancy and so at the moment only 3 police stations have garages. Those garages do have map markers visible, they are located here: I will hopefully get round the other police stations however, not all of them have garages. This means some of the stations may not get a repair blip at all. Some of the stations that do have garages have a car spawn outside it blocking the way and so again I cannot really put a blip there. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated as it is a new feature I hope to develop.

1.0c - No Better...
I'm going to assume that you have never once taken a look at why your game crashes. Cause if you did you will have noticed AdvancedHook got an update, it produces better error codes for us. And the minidump file? Again, another way to make it easier for us to find out what goes wrong. LCPDFR itself now produces better, more detailed error logs too. Those updates are not for you. They are not special features or cool fun things to do. They are bits of code dedicated to finding out problems and reporting them so they can be fixed better. They are performance fixes and patches to errors. So the next time you take to a forum to whine about crashes. take a minute to look at what's really going on. And maybe then you will have some respect for the developers who are working hard to fix problems while still trying to bring you better gameplay. /rant over (sorry)

Watch_Dogs - Chicago PD Adventures
Hey guys, today I bring you a video thread for our online adventures in Watch_Dogs. The basic principle is simple, some of us are Chicago Police SERVICES and one of us is a criminal (usually ineseri.) I don't tend to make youtube videos or gameplays so I'm just going off what I like as editing, feel free to suggest ideas. Staring: LukeD, ineseri, Iconography and our beloved leader Sam. Disclaimer The following footage was taken live from actual dense patrols. Density can be extremely contagious, viewer discretion is advised. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Outtakes and Other Snippets If you would like more of these let me know. If you have any suggestions what you would like to see more of (fast editing or full gameplay) tell me what you would like and I'll do my best. Thanks :)

Need ways to make money.
Should probably have added to the 1st point, you can earn money from washing your neighbours cars or doing nice shit for people. Not huge amounts of it but if someone gives you £10 for washing their car for them then you're £10 better off. If you're young people will be more inclined to let you offer help because you're doing something nice for them. Unless everyone around you is an ass.

Need ways to make money.
I have a few suggestions...... Get a part time job in a shop/factory or some crappy place. Work your ass off, get paid Sell old things in your house which you don't want to keep anymore. Rob a bank? Sell yourself for slavery? Go to a proper money advice service or job centre rather than ask us? We're a community of gamers not financial advisors :P (yes this was a light-hearted joke, if you don't find it funny don't comment on it)

Re-read what I just said and think about the context :) 0.4 is not yet released, it is currently being built. I'm in the testing phase of all previous features to ensure I've ironed out the bugs and am implementing a new feature which I posted a video about a few posts back. You'll know when 0.4 is released because I will make it glaringly obvious with a "new update" post. :)
