Switch out the referenced dll files and you should be good to go. Any methods or variables you used which have changed or deprecated will be highlighted by VS. Obviously test you did it right by loading your plugin in the game before releasing it lol.

FYI I am well aware of WHY we get such large media coverage of Western Countries. I'm just making a point that we should care more for those not so publicised than we are doing. A lot of people don't care about anyone further than France (from England). This was made very clear when a news crew went around asking what people in the country thought about refugees and our government supporting them, and most answers were on the level of Donald Trump supporters. My intention here was to make people aware that this is happening elsewhere as well. So if you're going to go through the whole #PrayForBelgium thing, take a minute to pray for the others who don't get the media coverage too.

Where was the front page headline for these attacks, the live breaking news? What about the #PrayForAnkara or #PrayForIstanbul. My point is this happens more than you realise just the media and the people don't give a shit about certain countries. The 7 most popular articles on the BBC homepage are about the Brussels attack, no mention of the Turkey attacks. Just some food for thought.

Well I mean BT is good in place but they seem to have issues, but I guess that goes for all ISP's. I would just heavily avoid the "we're a good internet provider for less money and no silly contracts" like plusnet cause they're absolutely shit. We were on plusnet a while back and it got 1 - 4Mbps at best, down from the quoted 10Mbps. I'm on VM at 150Mbps.

If via wireless that's probably your reason, interference and the fact radio waves dissipate with distance, amongst other things. If that's via cable then I have no clue why you're below what you expect, maybe a new router is required but generally it shouldn't be unless it's a big enough change or the company is just trying to get you to replace your hub for the sake of it. Check what your internet package is from your ISP and see if it compares with that, if not then complain and maybe they'll fix it or tell you how to.

I always find these suggestions amusing. I've seen so many threads now that either have "hey I don't want to type in names can we have a feature that does it automatically" or "Hey I like typing crazy shitloads of words and things can we have a feature that lets us fill in reports because microsoft word isn't good enough and I'm a mentalist" ....I think I just had a crazy moment Anywho, radio in suspect feature might be better tweaked to doing the automatic name search, and police computer for the elite essay writers, but that's just my opinion.

Personally I don't think either of those things should be extended to the API, they're internal mechanics. I understand your reason for wanting them but I can foresee it being a bad idea. Although that being said I don't have any involvement in the coding of LSPDFR really, so I could easily be proven wrong.

Either laptop really would be ok to run, I have a 2GB 640M in mine with a quad i7 and 16GB and it's ok. But nothing compared to the desktop. The main issue you'll have is laptops can't easily be modified or upgraded and don't do cooling anywhere near as well. So give it a year or so and you'll start feeling the laptop become sluggish or incapable of keeping up with gaming standards. (I had to do a full OS reinstall on mine to revive it and it's still not as fast). After 2 or so years you'll hate it and want something newer and at that point you start spending £600+ every few years on just a laptop. Desktop builds are far far better, can be customised, upgraded and maintained much more easily. Personally I'd plan ahead more and try to make space for a desktop, even in a compact desk (just watch heat).

I wouldn't know what can and can't be done with file editing. My forte is plugins. Data file mods are amongst the many things that don't really interest me I'm afraid.

There are no natives that I can find that handle the data put through to the car stereo system. Only the audio ones that control radio station and song. You'd also then need to know how to send this data to a police computer screen rather than a radio unit because cop cars don't have radios like the high end cars do. In short. Don't think this is possible. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

LSPDFR is designed to work on a stock version of the game, not one that's been modified in the data files like this. Any odd behavior can be put down to this. To answer your questions though LSPDFR makes use of every police unit spawned in the game where it needs to, regardless of what spawned it I believe. I'm not 100% certain if it produces ambient units, I know it does for the police station, but I'm not sure for roads in general. It may do, but I can't remember. Also useful to know that GTA V makes everything revolve around the player character. This is why if you respond to the callout for the armed suspects in pursuit, traffic and peds will go crazy next to you (which makes no sense when your 10+ city blocks away from the pursuit). Gang units and such react to the player character as well with abuse and/or physical attacks. This is why responding to any kind of shootout in the gang heavy areas results in a firefight because 1 single shot from your gun triggers the gang events regardless. I would try running LSPDFR on a stock copy of GTA V (no relationship mods) and see if it still happens. Happy 2,000th post :D
