Pool has been closed. Results: LCPD Pack ELS DROT - 13 votes NOOSE Pack ELS - 8 votes SAHP Pack ELS (LED) - 5 votes SAHP Pack ELS (DROT) - 4 votes Hi guys, I need your help. I have a few ideas for my next mod/pack, but I don't know which one I should make first. NOOSE Pack would feature Vapid Stanier, Vapid Interceptor, Granger, Landstalker, both Buffaloes and an Enforcer and maybe the Vapid Radius (Ford Police Interceptor SUV) I have the skins almost done (thanks DLer!), but so far I have only made the Stanier (check my Skins album in gallery, it should be somewhere there). LCPD Pack ELS DROT - I would simply make DROT variants of all the cars in my LCPD pack and either make a new download or add it to the pack. I already have the light bar done and working. SAHP Packs - Buffaloes, Stanier and the Radius. With either LED Freedom bars or DROT Brute light bars. Just like my non-ELS ones, but ELS! If you have any other ideas, let me know! Also, due to school being an absolute pain in the ass (wake up at 5:45, school starts at 7:30, ends at 15:45, be back home around 18, do home work, sleep, wake up, repeat) I will only be able to do any modding during weekends, so don't expect any mods coming out soon. They will come eventually, but not soon. Cheers!

Well damn. When so many people have this problem, it looks like I will have to try to come up with some sort of solution. Could all the people with the crashing problem PM me? I'll explain my plan.

If config files are not included, either use the default config or make your own.

Hmm. I have no idea why it crashes for you, as it works fine. It could be somehow connected with the size of the model, but I am not sure.

The light brightness and reflections are controlled by your ENB/visual settings and not by the model.

Hmm, that is strange. I also had crashing problems, but I have redone the wtd and then it worked. Maybe try extracting all the textures from the wtd (as PNG), deleting the wtd, making a new one (named firetruk) and importing all the textures back in? It could help. I am sure it it not the model.

I am aware of the issue, but I have no idea how to fix it. Also, with the little free time I have, even if I knew how to fix it, it wouilf take a long while. Please only post comments about the firetrucks here.

The crashing issue should be fixed. Please redownload the file and replace both the wft and wtd. It looks like the crashing was related to a corrupted wtd file. A default MTL Firetruck, UV-Mapped by me to Lt.Caine's template (his model was locked), and with ELS lighting made by mixing up the default Firetruck lights and Whelen Ultra Freedom. Skins made by me, based on Lt.Caine's ones and real-life FDNY Engine designs. ACFD skin by DLer. ELS configuration file included. 12 liveries total! I recommend you to use Area Livery Mod by Sam, to restrict certain liveries to certain areas, and to remove the 4 liveries limit! (LCPDFR 1.0c also removes the limit, but it does not have the ALM features). You can add more liveries to the wtd, just rename the livery you want to add to firetruk_skin_5, and then import it. If you want to add more, increase the number by one. WARNING Using too many liveries (even 8 can be too many), can and WILL result in a BROAD RANGE of problems including, but not limited to, TEXTURE LOSS, POP-IN, SLOWNESS, FREEZING, CRASHES TO DESKTOP and MODELS/PEDS/CARS NOT SPAWNING. MAKE SURE TO UNCHECK "AUTOMATICALLY GENERATE MIPMAPS" WHEN IMPORTING TEXTURES IN OPENIV. MIPMAPS ADD SIZE, LESS SIZE IS BETTER. List of liveries: -------------------------------------- Installation: - Use OpenIV to replace the corresponding files within vehicles.img with the .wft and .wtd files provided in this package. - Open the vehicles.ide file in your Grand Theft Auto IVcommondata folder, find the lines beginning with the names of the appropriate models, and at the end of those lines add +livery. -------------------------------------- This download is exclusive to LCPDFR.com. ALL OF THEM I use all the mods from STEP and a bit modified STEP pack called VEGA + some other ones, such as Immersive Armors and Weapons. Very stable, with an ENB and 2048 textures I get 40 fps on average and 25 - 30 in Morthal (dunno why).
