Skyrim Must Have Mods

Featured Replies

ALL OF THEM

I use all the mods from STEP and a bit modified STEP pack called VEGA + some other ones, such as Immersive Armors and Weapons. Very stable, with an ENB and 2048 textures I get 40 fps on average and 25 - 30 in Morthal (dunno why).

I personally prefer to watch Brodual for mod highlites. Check him out.

I haven't had the opportunity to download any mods yet but Skyrim is such an awesome game you don't need mods.

Morrowind and/or Oblivion was a far better built game in my opinion.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Morrowind and/or Oblivion was a far better built game in my opinion.

I Think all of them turned out to be some of the best games i have ever played :)

If not the best :P

Oblivion was and still is one of my favorite games. It was the first game I bought when I got my PS3 back in 2007. It was such a great game and I still play it even 8 years after it's release. The thing I like about The Elder Scrolls games is that they have a great storyline and gameplay that makes the games fun to play for a long time. I have been playing Oblivion on and off for the past 8 years and I still don't think I have explored the entire map and finished all the quests. It still amazes me how much content Bethesda puts into their games.

Oh wow. How do I list them all! There's so many.

From Armor mods to make me & my Follower look awesome, to mods that make Skyrim's environment better (Better Roads, etc.), to Immersion & Quality of Life mods.

But one mod that is absolutely necessary & helps a lot is SkyUI + the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE, a must have for most of the awesome mods).

Also, some other great mods to check out:-

Skyrim Enhanced Camera (See your body in 1st person mode)

HQ 3D Map (World Map) + A Quality World Map w/ Roads  (Changes texture of the 3D map & adds Roads on it [you can choose for only Main roads or all roads, etc.] )

Dead Body Collision Fix (Fixes your character clipping thru dead bodies, & gives dead bodies basic game physic)

Guard Dialogue Overhaul (Fixes Guards just saying "hmm" after a number of conversations)

Real Shelter (Rain stops going thru shelter like tents, etc.)

Enhanced Blood Textures

Player Headtracking (Actually look at someone when they talk to you or pass by you)

Fast travel timescale fix

Real Roads for Skyrim & Skyrim Better Roads (These make roads better, & they fix the height bug in many places on the road [your character stands way above the actual road texture] ).

Also, a great gameplay addition that I think should've been there with the game itself:-

Your Market Stall (Finally allows you to set up your very own Market Stall & sell various things. You can also appoint a Follower to work on it instead of you)

Would recommend getting RGGT (Randomly-Generated Generic Townsfolk. Recommend Light or Lighter version,  unless you got a Supercomputer) & HT More NPC Pocket Money (so NPCs can buy more expensive stuff from your stall)

If you want to check out other mods that I have, check my Nexus profile here (basically everything that I endorsed). If you're on Nexus, add me! hehe

Wow this became long
